No One Makes A Monkey Out Of Me (That's - Apparently - Just The Way We Are)

It's been within the last decade that I first said AI was overblown, and - lo and behold - Apple's finally agreed with me. It only took their college-educated engineers 10 years to see what a guy with a GED saw immediately. But that's about par for the course.

It's been over 15 years after TMR first wrote about San Francisco's One Taste cult - later researched in "Women Getting Squirrelly (And Collecting Nuts)" - when we read in NYC "Founders of ‘Orgasmic Meditation’ group found guilty of forcing employees into sex acts". DUH.

I mean, Wow. Seriously: That's not just an issue of time, but of space AND comprehension, too. Theres a lot of distance there, no matter how you look at it. And we're not just talking about One Taste, but how long it takes for American society to identify, and then act, against - not only the obvious but - what the society, itself, is doing. To itself. We're talking a really, really s-l-o-w response time. In the Information Age. What a mindfuck.

 

"Leaders of ‘orgasmic meditation’ wellness company convicted in forced labor trial" is a headline that proves, after almost two decades of linguistic conditioning, the media doesn't even know where the quotes go, whenever one of theses cults starts calling itself a "wellness company." What is a "wellness company"? What is "wellness"? Clearly, in the end, it has something to do with tricking people into doing things against their will,...to make them well. Well.

Here's something semi-related with bite in it: 

"The consequences of,...scientific fraud are profound, as history shows. In 1998, Andrew Wakefield’s study in The Lancet falsely linked the MMR vaccine to autism. Though it was retracted in 2010 after evidence of data manipulation, vaccination rates dropped, leading to measles outbreaks. Public health efforts were diverted for years to counter this misinformation." 

 And those "consequences" - after Wakefield was disbarred for what amounted to racist experiments on black kids almost 30 years ago - also included being turned into a NewAge celebrity, dating Supermodel Elle MacPherson, and his buddy, RFK, Jr., becoming America's new director of health. So he's doing,...well. Because, as we all witnessed with our own eyes, nobody brought up Andrew Wakefield, even once, during RFK, Jr's supposedly-thorough Congressional vetting process. Because this is a society taking a really long time, to grasp what it's doing. To itself. 

We make it very clear - looking at how we process 30 years of history - the truly amazing thing is that we grasp anything at all.

And, while you're at it, guess when noticing "Spiritual pseudoscience is everywhere" - and everything's coming apart - will stop being treated like opposing magnets?

 

First Man Canceled™️

It’s kind of a trip to be the First Man Canceled™️, after I started criticizing the left - and especially the New Age movement - from all the way back in 1995. 

   

Now, I get to watch everybody else going through it - the entire western world - except the new targets have money, publicists, a network of family and friends behind them to absorb the blow, the knowledge this has happened before, to famous comedians and other celebrities, and it’s happening to them publicly, in the media. I didn't have any of that. No one’s documented my odyssey, but me. The movement just worked me over, destroyed my life, and “moved on”. 

   

Imagine losing your job, at a hospital of all places - or absolutely any argument - over astrology. Both have happened to me. And the latter, repeatedly. I’ve learned to stay away from those people. They're dangerous.

How about the 2012 “controversy” over the Mayan calendar? Seeing through that got me in hot water with a number of salesmen I worked with at a car dealership.

I repeat: I lost a debate with my friends over whether or not my wife can walk through walls.

This was all long before Greta Thunberg got a mural in San Francisco, but Tom Foremsky - an English friend I admired - gave me a book, called “Ishmael,” featuring a gorilla who talked about "saving the planet," to explain what I was getting wrong. I honestly still don't know what he meant by giving it to me,…when I was troubled that my wife was claiming she could walk through walls.

How different is the claim that someone can walk through walls to the claim there are 57 genders? Not much. Both are outrageous deceits and, in normal times, wouldn't be worthy of discussion. But, these are not normal times: this is the NewAge, and - for all the wrong-headed chatter about everything being “woke” - that's the one thing not being discussed. I see it in discussions of Steve Jobs: They talk about everything except the "popular" philosophy he used to kill himself.

They don't see it. They see "psychics" coming out of hiding - and doing a booming business. They see a bunch of someone’s into yoga - a Hindu religious ritual - and encouraging it everywhere they possibly can. They see Bill Clinton (Hillary's still married to a three-time rapist) got the ball rolling for questioning Medicine, and inviting-in quackery, when he made “alternative” medicine a thing, back-in-the-day. So now even water sits on pharmacy shelves. They can hear everyone screaming about vaccines, and even dragging RFK’s gravely-voice into the limelight.

But no one's talked about Jennny ("My son is my Science!") McCarthy and a spiritually-awakened Jim Carrey on Oprah. Or Robert de Niro's crack pot anti vaccine movie. And especially Andrew Wakefield, the disgraced quack (now living with Elle Macpherson) who got his medical degree taken away after getting this whole sick circus wound up.

They see everything - but a spiritual movement working around them.

But I see it. Like the people against reparations, the NewAge movement hopes to keep kicking the can down the road, until no one knows where it came from, or who’s responsible for what it’s done. But, I'm the man who dropped bread crumbs, all the way back to before the Harmonic Convergence. I still know how to unpeel this onion. I'm the First Man Canceled™️. 

I still know how to get home.

Nick Cohen (of The Guardian, UK) says Anti-vaxxers posing as victims have a history, but his list - of who the Anti-vaxxers are - is a short one: 

"The anti-vaxx movement punches down and punches hard. Its leaders tend to be men and women from wealthy backgrounds. Andrew Wakefield, the son of a neurologist and former fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists. Robert Kennedy Jr, son of the better man, Bobby Kennedy. Or they have religious power, most prominently Louis Farrakhan from the Nation of Islam."

Andrew Wakefield, Robert Kennedy Jr, and Louis Farrakhan - fine - but no Oprah Winfrey or Jenny McCarthy?

No Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey?

No Jim Carrey with Robert de Niro - and Robert Kennedy Jr?

No mention that Jim Carrey and Robert de Niro spent the entire Trump Administration viciously attacking the President at every opportunity - even both going on Saturday Night Live - as they were spreading misinformation the President was only being accused of.

No mention Andrew Wakefield now goes with Supermodel, Elle MacPherson, and what's up with that?

Hell, if the media don't care about the implications of Kamala Harris screwing Montel Williams, then they don't care about anything.

But, especially, not explaining this story.

 

Yes, I'm A Pin Prick

The next time you see a story on Jim Carrey's all-important entertainment comeback, or Robert de Niro's super-informative political rants, or - especially - Elle McPhersen's boyfriend, Andrew Wakefield, remember: the latest European measles outbreak infects 41,000 people, killing 27 of them (so far) and every celebrity I just mentioned had something to do with it.

PIGasus (Because Some Things Just Don't Fly)

I should've got this up on April Fool's Day but (scary thought here) I was too busy with Kathy Griffin's tits:

We doubt that either Dr. Oz or Andrew Wakefield will be proudly displaying these honors on their mantelpieces: Both received "Pigasus Awards" this April 1 from the  James  Randi  Educational  Foundation for the dubious honor of being among the "5 worst promoters of nonsense."

Dr. Mehmet Oz got the "Media" Pigasus. The foundation explains why he won the prize: "Dr. Oz is a Harvard-educated cardiac physician who, through his syndicated TV show, has promoted faith healing, 'energy medicine,' and other quack theories that have no scientific basis." Among the guests that Randi's foundation deems especially dubious: psychic John Edward,  who claims to talk to dead people. (Check out this TV Guide interview in which Dr. Oz says that having Edward on the show "changed [his] life!" and adds, of Edward, "He seems authentic, not at all like a charlatan. I've learned in my career that there are times when science just hasn't caught up with things, and I think this may be one of them.")

Andrew Wakefield, a British researcher known for his repeated assertion that autism is caused by vaccines, got his Pigasus in the "Refusal to Face Reality" category. Wakefield's study in the 1998 that started the whole brouhaha has been thoroughly discredited, and study after study has failed to find a vaccine-autism connection. (In fact, a lot of autism researchers aren't even sure that the rates have truly risen, because in the past, milder cases were not diagnosed.)

Dr. Mehmet Öz and Andrew Wakefield are, of course, the quack doctors promoted by Oprah Winfrey and Jenny McCarthy (the NewAge television celebrity and the anti-vaccine child killer) so, please, feel free to attach any condemnation, of the two fakers mentioned above, to them as well:

You Want To Prove You're Up To A Man? Do It!

It's fine if you want to say Ham is too nice and Malkin is too mean, so what will they say about you, squeaky wheel?

The word against me, with women, has always been the same:

"He wants to be right all the time."

But, for the life of me, I've never understood how wanting to be anything else should be a goal.

Is there some special pride women take in being wrong? And if so, why?

I'm not kidding.

I wonder why - out of all the topics they choose to cover - the "smart women" don't answer that question, or choose to do anything about it, despite all the trouble it causes. Where's Michelle Malkin? Where's Mary Katharine Ham?

Why does a man like me have to be the bad guy? And why do these smart women stick to the easy stuff, like pointing out liberals are hypocrites with dirty mouths, when every male commentor has covered that a billion times before?

I want to see a woman challenge Oprah over her role in the marketing of The Secret - and why mainly women bought it's lies. I want that woman to ask how all that "positive thinking" worked out, in light of the trajectory of Obama's presidency, and the economy tanking that immediately followed.

Oprah did bring him to us - and no conservative woman has said a word about it.

I want to see a woman challenge Jenny McCarthy over her defense of the quack, Andrew Wakefield, and all the kids that have died because of their anti-vaccine fraud - and why most of their support is from women.

I would think dead kids is a topic conservative women would have an interest in.

I want to see a woman challenge Whole Foods to explain why they promote and sell homeopathic preparations - another good line of questioning for Oprah and a whole host of others - and why mainly women buy them. It's just water but women claim it's powerful medicine. Why? I want a woman to ask other women if blowing money and being delusional is fun.

Watching them behave that way isn't fun for men - is it for conservative women?

I want to see a woman challenge the Self-Help industry - and why it's mainly women buying the same wrong ideas, repackaged as new books, over and over again.

Or are conservative women, and their friends, immune?

And I want to see a woman challenge why women don't just do these things, but vehemently defend them, even past the point of reason - and when people lose their lives.

Why leave it up to men to challenge this - and to take the heat?


I want to see a woman challenge other women on why being "dissatisfied" is considered a legit reason to break up marriages and families.

I've seen talk about it, but no serious challenge from conservative women on "no fault" divorce. Why?

I want to see a woman challenge women, in a multitude of ways, but that almost all appear to derive from gaining a sense of satisfaction from doing and being wrong.

And I don't want some man sticking his nose in to give them any leave-them-alone cover, or a shoulder to cry on, or help with their answers - I want to see a woman challenge women on being women today.

I want to see courage, and bravery, on a man-sized scale.

As everyone knows, regarding Sarah Palin - who is merely a symbol of a challenge to the current feminine order - we will whole-heartedly support any woman who steps up to do that.

Because almost all these issues involve Democrats and the Democratic Party's unseen power base.

Until then, every other woman is either a liar, a coward, or a fraud themselves, more concerned with flipping their hair than actually flipping the script.
