We're On A Slippery Slope (From Being A Dope)

"All They Have To Do Is Not Go Crazy Before The Midterms - And They Can't Do It!"

- A popular saying on the Right about the Left

I released a song about the Democrat's cult just as the Right is mounting a defense of Alex Jones. Good Lord. It’s awful weird to hear complaints, that people are unrepentantly spreading misinformation, and then watch them defend those very same people when their ability to do so is curtailed. I think the internet companies should go further and wipe out GOOP, Oprah, astrologers, Ellen (because she’s always pumping up psychics) homeopaths, yogis, and all the other charlatans we know - with 100% certainty - are making a very good living from confusing every damned issue they can get their hands on for those who are, for whatever reason, vulnerable enough to believe them. I lived with such a person. It was horrifying to watch her be manipulated by these people. There were even deaths.

This society-wide lying in the West has to stop. The people telling the lies are determined to make us think President Trump warped our world, but, really, a short trip in history will reveal, not only that Oprah Winfrey declared “The Secret” was science long before Trump ever ran for anything (to no public condemnation) but Frank Furedi’s essay “The Age of Unreason” was published in 2005, as was the original BBC broadcast of Richard Dawkins’ “The Enemies of Reason”. Before that, we even had Francis Ween’s literary contribution, “How Mumbo-Jumbo Conquered the World: A Short History of Modern Delusions” in 2004.

As John Lennon wrote of the Maharishi’s welcoming from the West in “Sexy Sadie”, everyone has been made into fools - again. They entered the cult of NewAge. “The Wild, Wild Country” where a Rajneesh delivers their news and an astrology outfit (which is what The Daily Kos supposedly was before it switched to politics) directs their actions. It’s time to get out of it now. It’s time for America to let it go.

And it’s already waaay past time for more-than-a-few very famous people to go to jail.

Lee Stranahan Is Being Mugged By Reality (And My Guess Is He'll Be A Conservative Next Year)

Poor Lee Stranahan. It's gotta be tough.

First, for merely asking the right questions, he gets banned from Markos' scummy astrology website The Daily Kos, and now he's quitting Rosemary's Baby:
I’ll keep this short. As I wrote this morning, writing for the Huffington Post has been one of the great joys of my life for the past few years and I’ve been proud to be associated with them.

But as a writer, this latest move by The Huffington Post of banning Andrew Breitbart from their front page (because of comments he made to a different website) is both unprecedented, arbitrary and deeply offensive to the intellectual openness that Arianna Huffington has purported to believe in.
Oh dear - he's catching on that Arianna's a liar - that can't be good.

For Lee, not Arianna, because the more dirt she commits to, the more everybody seems to want to reward her.

I'm not sure how that works exactly - it goes, totally, against The Law of Quantum Failure (so far) - but, according to Lee, she's still going for the gold:
One very loathsome  aspect of this story is something that Huffington Post editor Roy Sekoff told me in a long phone call about Andrew Breitbart several months ago. Roy knows and worked with Andrew and when the issue of Andrew Breitbart being a racist came up, Roy told me “No, of course Andrew isn’t a racist.”

Roy went on to say that while both he and Arianna Huffington knew that the charges of racism being hurled at Andrew weren’t true based on their years of personal dealings with him that they were in a ‘bad position’ to say anything about it.

Politics is a contact sport, but not defending someone you know personally and know the truth about is pretty poor conduct. To stand by and watch their reputation ruined and do nothing when all you have to do is say ‘I know him and that’s not true” is shameful.
Yeah, how hard is that? You know, to say and do the right thing?

Well, for anybody who knows Arianna's history, the right thing is exactly what she ain't gonna do:
Arianna is also friends with Van Jones so I’d apply the same standard there…and, in fact, Arianna HAS publically defended Van Jones at length. The problem is that defending Breitbart would be much less popular among her liberal friends then defending Jones.
Ahhh yes, and that, as they say in NewAge Gold DiggerLand, is all that truly matters,...

And Proud Of It!

Oh, man - Liberals - they're so great! They're so cool! They're so open-minded, and they only oppose conservatives because we're so wrong! O.K., fine, but how do you explain them opposing one of their own?
My first taste of ‘lockstep liberalism’ came when I was kicked off DailyKos for saying it seemed to me that John Edwards might have had an affair. I didn’t act like it was the worst thing in the world or the height of immorality; I just thought it seemed suspicious when the National Enquirer reporters caught him at the Beverly Hilton. For the sin of discussing my suspicions. I was banned from DKos and I still am, after being viciously hammered for days. And when Edwards admitted to the affair – I was still banned.
And banned you will be, my good man. That's how it works when you go against Liberal orthodoxy, the Liberal narrative, the Liberal lie they're trying to promote across the land. Because, Oh, man - Liberals - they're so great! They're so cool! They're so open-minded, and they only oppose conservatives because we're so wrong!

That's just how they roll,...

Liberals Are Having More Meltdowns Than Japan

There are so many things about how liberals "think" that are disagreeable I could go on forever, but I'll point out two obvious ones from the last few days. First, the walk-back.

Ann Althouse has a post on The Daily Kos's polling efforts, regarding a recall of Republicans in Wisconsin, where they say this:
We asked whether respondents support or oppose the idea of recalling their senators. As you can see in the next pair of columns, this question doesn't test as well—pluralities say they favor recall in just three districts—but in a way, it's the least important question we asked.
Ann, being a sharpie, catches 'em immediately:
Oh, yeah, the question with the bad numbers... it's not important! Ha!
This is the same point NewsBusters' Noel Sheppard made when Lawrence O'Donnell (above) went over the racial deep end on Michelle Bachmann's supporters. Here's O'Donnell:
What makes those voters so ignorant? Well, for starters, they are whiter than the average district. 92 percent white in fact. But that explains nothing.
And here's Sheppard's catch:
Well, if that "explains nothing," why bring it up? It's almost like O'Donnell and his staff knew they were going too far with the 92 percent white remark, and felt they needed to soften it a little,...But the damage was already done. After all, imagine for a moment Bachmann was black,...and the commentator was a conservative:

What makes those voters so ignorant? Well, for starters, they are blacker than the average district. 92 percent black in fact. But that explains nothing.

You think that would have gone over well in the black community, or would there be calls Tuesday for said conservative commentator's immediate termination?
Here's another good one - blatant hypocrisy - you remember the "Morans" guy, above, don't you? Oh, he was everywhere during the Bush years, as proof that conservative patriots are stupid as rocks. He can't spell, right? He must be an idiot!

Well, iOwnTheWorld has a whole bunch of misspelled signs by liberals - including these doozies, below, because they come to us from the Wisconsin Teacher's Union:

I bet you won't see liberals plastering those everywhere as proof of ignorance by liberal patriots, which leads me to think they don't care about ignorance - even in our schools - and are not truly patriots at all.

Whatever they are, they're definitely not thinkers, or honest brokers.

The Union For Peace, Love And Understanding

Just keep repeating "there's no link between the Democrats, NewAge and violence, there's no link between the Democrats, NewAge and violence" and that will make it true:

SUZAN HAYDEN

It seems that this person has tweeted death wishes towards Governor Scott Walker and Jihn Kasich, as well as every “Republican Governor.”

She is “an astrologer.” No. Really. She is.

Let’s tell her fortune….

I see her in an orange jump suit, sharing a cell with her new special friend, Bernice. Bernice enjoys it when you “yodel while carrying a six-pack.”

Here are the tweets:

-Gov JOHN KASICH (OH)&Gov Scott Walker(Wi)must be eliminated by March 22nd or OUR AMERICA WILL BE DESTROYED. about 5 hours ago via web

-Wisconsin&Ohio Police eliminate in any way possible GovWalker & Gov John Kasich. Prison for TREASON or DEATH. about 5 hours ago via web

-Local&State Police jail or eliminate Republican Governors NOW<<<<<<<<< about 5 hours ago via web

I want to know if this idiot is a member of the Astrologer’s Union! hehe
Yea, she, Andrew Sullivan, Jared Lee Laughner, The Daily Kos kids, and Arianna Huffington, are all founding members!

And do you notice how she feels she's got some special "connection" to, or "powers" over, the police to do her bidding?

In-fucking-credible.

Hat Tip (and a complete fucking rip) from the blog we love: iOwnTheWorld

An Overheard Phone Call At A Con Art* Gallery

*Con Art = "Conservative Artists":

Yes, the Left had a nice little show selling lies for entertainment, but - in just two years - it's gotten kind of putrid, and now it's somebody else's turn, don't you think?

Sure, it might have helped if they had called it something like "inter/shame/ment", considering the disgust, and embarrassment all around. But, the truth is, the public just wasn't buying it. I mean, over 12 anti-war films in a row, and they all bombed? Including one where they killed Bush? Get a clue. Yea, the finale worked, for a minute, but it's time for a new direction.

We won't be distracted by what women aren't wearing. We won't be showing tits at all. Won't waste our time.

That whole thing's a statement for knowing nothing now,...well, for doing the wrong thing - like NewAgers changing partners or adopting foreign kids to mess with their minds.

You know, it's fascinating, when you look at it in hindsight - NewAge never did work on adults:

The "green" theme took a while but it fell apart.

We didn't stop eating meat.

Didn't buy your bullshit about anti-oxidents.

Weren't afraid of "toxins".

Didn't take up yoga. Here - try this:

Repeat the incantation "George Bush" as many times as you want - distort his image any way you can - we voted for the guy! Twice! And now he's making a comeback. Amazing. There's nothing you could do!

Mark Twain said a lie will make it around the world before the truth can get it's boots on. You guys just never caught on that a lie has to move fast because, like milk about to turn, it has a sell-by date - and now, time's up.

Oh, surrrre, many people caught on before you did that something stank around here, but oh, as often as GaGa changed her wardrobe, few ever thought it was you guys!

Madonna, or even Cher maybe, but not all of you.

What's that? No, no, see the problem is, when the public is faced with both the truth or a lie, they require an intelligent delivery to succeed; and I don't want to be mean but, let's just say, in the Left's particular case that rarely ever works out well. I mean, let me ask you this:

Will the Kos kids go back to worshipping the zodiac?

Will Hillary go back to talking to the dead?

Will Barack and Michelle continue betraying the idea of the civil rights movement?

After everything I've seen already, I'm not putting money on anything.

Um Hm. Uh huh. Yeah. The fact is, you should've known the truth will always win out in the end, but you've also got to realize it can grow old and withered by the time it's supposed admirers finally come calling - and, no matter if we're dressed or not, those bastards will always come calling - to show how smart they are, now. Speak of the Devil, there goes Arianna coming up the walk! (I can never understand a word that bitch says.) Hang on. Hi, Darling *air kiss* I'll be right with you - I'm talking long distance to San Francisco - no, we're almost done. Put your fruitcake in the kitchen where it belongs.

Now where were we? Oh, yea - the Left, what else? They won't like what they find here on out, artistically, because this isn't a body of lies - it's the truth they abused. But we're still going forward with it, as is. What? No, we won't be serving refreshments, nor will there be flowers in the lobby - no freebies - say again? Well, that's fine because we really don't even want liberals around! We'll probably offer them a chair, for kicks, but it's sure to be one that falls apart! (laughter) Maybe offer them exploding cigars! Whoopi!

I don't care if your friends are currently admiring Julianne Assange's work. Yes, I know, the French like brightly colored graffiti on their neighbor's garage. Whatever.

Look, Julianne's gang signs indicate the whole block is in danger, and, unlike "their neighbors", the French haven't stocked up on guns or good sense so I,...wait a minute.

Oh God, Arianna heard me - she's in there crying. Look - I gotta go - tell the French I said "good luck with that" - we'll call the Germans. Yes, we know how it looks, but we don't care - we'll call them. As far as the rest of them, except for England and maybe Poland, we think it's time to say goodbye anyway. Why? Are you kidding me? Pfft! The "why" is obvious:

They let us spend too much time alone by now, we don't have time for this - we've got our own show of patriotism to get together - and, frankly, the rest of you are getting on our nerves. Goodbye.
