TMR's Very First Public Affairs Story & Answer Period

STORY

 ANSWER

Ted Turner should be the first man to set an example and - after he castrates himself - get out of our face.

STORY:

ANSWER:

No, Bozo, you ARE an idiot,
and YOU succeeded in derailing your campaign.

QUOTE:

"While we’ve been focusing lately on major crises gripping the top echelons of the Church of Scientology, it’s useful to remember there are still quite a few folks out there in far-flung locations, doing what they can to “clear the planet” — spread the word about Scientology so it can take over the world.

And what better way to do that than with ads placed on Craigslist?"

STORY

 ANSWER:

The conservative base is in a like-to-lose mode, leaving the rest of us waiting in the wilderness, for a mad man to implode.

ANSWER:

This outcome should've been so obvious, I'm wondering why it's even peddled as news,...

Which Witch Is Which? (I'd Switch,...)

I just found this on Craig's List:
Major TV network, is looking for Witches and Pagan families to participate in a new television show about the everyday lives of Witches and Pagans living in Salt Lake City and other Utah areas. Is your family openly Pagan or living as Witches and not afraid to let everyone know it? Are you still "in the broom closet" and have not told anyone at work or school that you are Pagan? Do you celebrate Pagan holidays, gather with other Pagans, or practice Pagan rituals and or Witchcraft as part of your everyday life? We are looking for you!
We would like to include all types of Pagans, including Wiccans, Celtics, Druids, etc. This will be a very straightforward process in which we will follow a family or multiple families in a documentary style fashion. We will explore your religion and traditions, and how it all fits into your every day life. We are looking to show Paganism in a positive light.
A logic question for the "major TV network":
Why don't witches just cast a spell to make that happen? Geez,...

The World Is Mine (Or It's Looking To Be Soon)

The top search terms for this blog are, of course, "Crack Emcee" and "The Macho Response", but one that caught my eye - and made me smile through my guilt at not blogging as much as I want - was this from Rancho Palos Verdes, California:

"crack emcee killed new age"
I wish - really - but, still, that's a cool statement on the effect TMR's having out there. (It's not some massive influence on the culture but, as the e-mails I get testify, on individuals, it can be significant.) There's also an outstanding East Coast blog going full-bore against the NXIVM cult - Saratoga In Decline - that's work is so close to what TMR's been doing that someone snarkily used a blurb from TMR (since removed) as praise for Saratoga In Decline. Needless to say, I'm honored - and applaud Saratoga In Decline for their efforts:

Keep up the good work - The Crack Emcee's got your back.

And finally, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention whoever's on Craig's List repeatedly declaring TMR as "the most important blog in America".

Thank you.

So why aren't I here 24-7, like in the old days? Well, because I've got enough in donations (!) to finally go back in the studio and prepare my first recording in a long, long time. (I'll be mastering some tracks this Sunday, and then getting to work on a decent internet presence for them after that, so, for a little while longer, there might be a bit of a lag for my posts. Sorry.)

This first release won't be my much-promised conservative manifesto, but some left-over tracks from previous efforts - kind of a b-sides collection - but, still, a decent start to the next phase of my long-floundering music career.

And what better time could there be for it? Almost all of the topics TMR champions are becoming apparent to the general public now - including the left-wing Nazi thing - why, even my favorite president, George W. Bush, is receiving his much-deserved reassessment, so I must be doing something right.

Or seeing something right.

Or something.

Right?

I know most liberals hate me - because they never let me forget it - and that's a good thing.

Now if only the spotlight - and the public - would finally turn on Oprah,...or, at least, turn her off.

Either would suit me just fine.

It's Probably Listed In The "Classified" Section

Wow - I don't know who this is, on Craig's List (of all places), but just - "Wow!":
"Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you the BEST and most IMPORTANT blog in America today:

http://themachoresponse.blogspot.com/

This guy breaks it down the way that goes far beyond the tired old 'liberal vs conservative' debate...... for years I have been ranting, raving and riffing on many of the same themes here on craigslist , but I have never seen anyone more clearly define what is fucking up America than this guy.

He is the KING and his work needs to be read and discussed by as many people as possible. Read this blog for a week and get tuned into the biting reality you've almost forgotten about... "
Hear, hear. That's also the recommendation of my sister blog, Panda Bear, M.D.. (Take a look over on the right.) Thank you, whoever you are, for spreading the word:

I'm truly honored.

CMC

P.S.

To everyone flocking here, from CL, welcome.

YRUCNAOG? (ICU)

What a great day for anti-cultism!

Ann Althouse started things off right by saying:
"Read Crack's blog. He's always ranting hilariously about something. And the pictures are unreal."
And, later, some anonymous poster on Craig's List said:
"Here is one of the greatest blogs in America today, written my a Black man living in San Francisco California. This guy takes aim at New Age bullshit of all kinds, and calls bullshit on 99% of women who are pushing this goofiness on the rest of us."
I know about this second quote because I looked at my stats today, which aren't bad, and couldn't miss the link.

But will the praise from others last?

Nah. It seems like the majority of people who regularly read me, now, know about the evil of NewAge already (which almost seems beside the point, though I like the idea of giving comfort to others) or they know about me already. Very few newbies.

It used to be that TMR had lots of visitors, massive donations, and tons of comments (mostly nasty attacks from NewAgers) but after Obama got in, the NewAgers won the big one, and everybody kind of decided I didn't know what I was talking about.

Then - after a humiliating period of nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah's - everybody disappeared, leaving me here to toil alone.

Now, of course, Obama's been revealed to be everything I always said, so I'm starting to look like a prophet or some shit - because I never gave in - and readers are returning.

But, this time, it's people who like what I'm saying.

Just so you know, there are 5,074 posts here (as of today) so if you want to hang around, and bring yourself up to speed on the nuttiest cultural phenomena of our time, I heartily invite you to stay - click the tags below each post and look around - then link me up on your blog, or become a "follower" (man, I hate that name) and, please, spread the word to others:

We can claim we're starting a counter-cult.

You'll NEVER Get There From Here

"Craig thought [the peace symbol] was associated with the hippies and that hippies were discredited,..."

-- Jim Buckmaster, CEO of Craig's List, on the only thing he and his boss, Craig Newmark, have ever disagreed on - Got that? How, out of all the issues in the world they have to deal with, hippies and the fucking peace symbol were the cause of their only fight? - adding one more brick in the wall, and keeping me Wired.

That crazy photoshop of "Your Moral Leader" as Vishnu came from, my buds' blog, Luke Ford.
