Mystic Mayhem™ Amid The Luminance Of Our Lunacy

If the Nazis returned, the only thing about a Whole Foods, that Adolf Hitler would object to, is it's staff diversity

Himmler would see all the yoga studios and feel totally validated, knowing any nation - attempting this much de-stressing - must be killing a lot of innocent people (and we are).

Hess would be over the moon after hearing of RFK, Jr's appointments.

Reinhard Heydrich would think, if President Trump shut out refugees but is making White South Africans an exception, that makes sense.

Our fleet of B-2 bombers - and, especially, using them to hurt poor people - would leave Goering wondering where he and his crew went wrong.

And Joseph Goebbels would find the American government's almost-complete control - over the world's public - most impressive.

They'd all be able to see their influence on America, clearly, but America can't see anything. Not in our super-religious, militarized nation, that educates it's citizens so well a married man can think he's "Jesus" and yoga-promoter Jennifer Aniston is his "Queen," but nobody (beyond his wife who speaks, Oprah-like, of something "manifesting") can spot much is out of order, until he's ramming Aniston's gate with his car.
And it's not just us gone batty - or, rather, Blavatsky. In 2025, Helena could've been an editor for Britain's Daily Mail, approving headlines like this:
Diana Nostradamus who foresaw her death reads Royal charts and makes stunning predictions about a Meghan 'reality check', 'lost' Harry... and their marriage
This is "news," People. As we, currently, starve Palestinians to death, instead of out-right murdering them. The world's lost its stomach for it. The Nazis, too - from top to bottom - found their own actions distasteful, when finally directly confronted with them. That's never stopped anybody from anything, then until now. The Third Reich's ultimate legacy - obviously - is we just keep marching on.

NewAgers Never Knew America - Or Anything Else (And Don't Want To Now)

So Slate magazine - are these things still "magazines" if they only exist online? - says The America We Thought We Knew Is Gone, using "we" in much the same way Kurt Andersen does in "Fantasyland": as though we're all guilty of a little yoga, meditation, and whatnot, so must all accept the blame for the lunacy. Nope, sorry, Bud, this is just on y'all. (Especially those supposedly in control. Bill and Hillary and Jen and Brad, etc., all consulting crazy Ken Wilber (above) - Oprah Winfrey will believe anybody about any damned thing - I can't think of any Americans who've been less in control than these celebrities who've been dominating our lives throughout the latter half of the 20th Century.) You Thunderbirds were go, go, GO!

Trump haters understand "flyover country" in the same way they do the president, using the same amount of information, and in equal amounts, because (as we've seen with more-than-a-few journalists trudging in to see "normal Americans" since Trump won) they've deliberately had no real experience with any of this. Notice it's the America "We Thought We Knew" - not the real one - they're lamenting seeing go. The fantasy they've held that never existed. The real America's still here - filled with "deplorables" - and they still hate it. Get it? The fact the "good guys" *might not* be America's haters occurs to them much less than it does Mitchell & Webb's Nazi SS Men wondering if, maybe, they're "the baddies".

Slate's writer is someone named Lili Loopbourow, and she's upset "a reality-television star who lost the popular vote by millions" gets to do stuff. That's odd because, if seeing Donald Trump make it to the White House - right after one-term Senator Barack Obama - doesn't mean the maxim "anybody can president in America" is true, then I don't know what does. And hating the game, after Hillary lost it, is just sour grapes.

"Don't hate the player, Baby,..."

There's no need to go on. (I told you I don't reason with the unreasonable.) I'm just glad to acknowledge the Left's fantasy world is falling apart. I hope they don't take being "really woke" too hard - it's for the best:

All that sleeping everybody was doing is what got us into this mess.

Jen (I Never Wondered Why She Couldn't Keep A Man,...)

This is the NewAge cultist, Jennifer Aniston.

This is the NewAge cultist, Jennifer Aniston, showing off her markings from cupping.

This is how the NewAge cultist, Jennifer Aniston's back looked, while cupping.

Any questions?

My Reaction To NewAge (Is Also A Product Of NewAge)

Today, I'm saluting what-we're-being-sold-as America's "extended family".

From the Self-Help world, I see Dr. Joyce Brothers has died:
When asked why the public was hungry for personal advice from a public person, she proposed that an increasingly mobile society had heightened feelings of isolation.
"There is a lot more searching for answers these days," Brothers told the Washington Post in 1979. "And a lot more answers too. But we're missing friends and kinship roles. So you rent a friend. Like Dr. Joyce Brothers."
...One demographic that did not seek her advice was her own family.
"She totally loses her objectivity," her husband told UPI in 1985. "With her family, she's abysmal."

Speaking as someone who's been somewhat isolated my whole life, even when I had a choice, I'd never gone in for that "rent a friend" stuff. I mean, first of all, if you want 'em, real ones are free. (I know - wha?) Second, if you're renting 'em, they're going to tend to agree with you, right or wrong, right-right? Real friends don't do that. My friends and I argue, over the phone, about what we're wearing.

(Like I said, they're free,...)

So - ruminating on the hidden fragility of the family unit vs. the obvious strength engendered in true friendships - what's the possibility of there having been some gravitational pull between A) the selling of circular reasoning by the "abysmal" B) a train wreck, and C) that train just happening to loop back on the blood relatives of the "extended family" they were unwittingly forced into?

As I've been saying for a while now, when it comes to social disaster, most roads lead to Oprah:
Readers don’t pick up self-help books just to ruminate on life’s dilemmas, but to be guided to solutions. The new series of self-help books published by the London-based School of Life, co-founded by the Swiss-born popular philosopher Alain de Botton, echoes the school’s lofty approach to problems, claiming to be “intelligent, rigorous, well-written new guides to everyday living.” Yet to peruse the School of Life’s calendar of classes is to fall into a vortex of jargon pitched somewhere between the banal banter of daytime talk shows and the schedule for a nightmarish New Age retreat,...

This is the upside-down world of NewAge "Friends" - TV shows, talk shows, Facebook - today. Because, would any "friend" be allowed to buy into this nonsense, on the scale it's been, knowing we've got to look at each other tomorrow? Not around here.

Here's the true family reality:

Somewhere, deep down inside, Brad Pitt's wife, Jennifer Aniston, is doing the Snoopy dance - not because Angelina Jolie wasn't held down and abused by misogynistic male physicians - but, with Jolie having announced her breast removal was "My Medical Choice", it's also a pretty good guess it wasn't anything Anniston's husband, Brad, was counseled, or counting on, either.

That's the Self-Helped now.

Then there's also the unforgettable issue of Jolie's procedure being insufficiently homeopathic, but then, none of what's transpired - starting with Pitt originally leaving mega-NewAger Gwyneth Paltrow for Aniston - jibes with NewAge's stated purposes (there are many) or even the claims it's participants make about how they live their lives.

Forget friends and family, considering the sadism, I have to wonder, how do they sleep?

The Easy Answer:

Like (the adulterous) Bill Clinton, to the words of "rent a friend" Ken Wilber.

I tell ya, they're everywhere.

It just occurred to me that, even knowing Jolie is a U.N. ambassador, this medical operation is the most significant thing the regularly-voted "Most Beautiful" actress in the world has ever done to garner respect in it.

That's absolutely insane.

It's no wonder so many stick to merely making money:

With so many "helping" this path to enlightenment stuff can be hard,...

Stupid AND Proud (Awesome Combination In A Woman)

If you'd click her tag, you'd know this comes as no surprise:
"Jennifer Aniston showed off cupping marks at a recent red carpet appearance, a sign that the 44-year-old actress is dabbling in alternative medicine.
While appearing at a premiere of Call Me Crazy: A Five Film, Aniston was seen wearing a Christian Dior tuxedo-style top with slim black shorts, a sleek ponytail, and something else — cupping marks on her back.
The circular marks on her back were presumably the result of an ancient form of alternative medicine known as cupping. This involves glass cups being suctioned to the skin to optimize blood flow."

As Aniston said in the (pretty good) cult comedy, Wanderlust, she "drank the Kool-Aid and then made some more and drank that, too." And BTW - after years of famously not being able to keep a man - her current love interest plays the backstabbing guru in that movie.

Life imitates art, all the way,...

Two Failed NewAgers: Our Great Idea For A Film Collaboration! (Either That Or Just Get 'Em Both Outta Here Before They Kill The Movie Industry)

M. Night Shyamalan is the most NewAge of all the NewAge directors, so you know NewAge and art don't mix when it's come to this:
M. Night Shyamalan may have received best director and screenplay Oscar nominations for the 1999 best picture nominee "The Sixth Sense," but more recently his films are being nominated for the Golden Raspberry -- Razzie -- Awards. His 2010 misfire, "The Last Airbender," makes him a threepeat offender in the Razzie world after 2006's "The Lady in the Water" and 2008's "The Happening."

His 3-D version of the popular animated TV series scored nine Razzie nominations Monday morning, including worst picture, director, remake, screenplay, worst screen couple/worst ensemble and a new Razzie category, worst eye-gouging misuse of 3-D.
Jesus - the guy even won in a whole new category! When are they just going to kick this loser to the curb?

The other NewAge name that stands out in the "Razzie" competition (and also in multiple categories) is Jennifer Aniston - nominated first and foremost as "Worst Actress" - A distinction that, obviously, neither consulting Ken Wilber, or increasing her number of yoga sessions (both of which probably take away from studying her craft) can help with.

Oh well. As artists, and anti-cultists, we're rooting for Shyamalan and Aniston - BIG TIME! The "winners" will be announced on Monday.

Crap: I Am Young Enough To Know Everything

Sp!ked's Brendan O'Neill just got back back from Tibet and discovered something no Buddhist, here in the West, will tell you:

"I know I’m not supposed to say this, but Tibetan Buddhism really freaked me out.

The most striking thing is how different real Tibetan Buddhism is from the re-branded, part-time version imported over here by the Dalai Lama’s army of celebrities.

Listening to Richard Gere, the first incarnation of the Hollywood Lama, you could be forgiven for thinking that Tibetan Buddhism involves sitting in the lotus position for 20 hours a day and thinking Bambi-style thoughts. Tibetan Buddhism has a 'resonance and a sense of mystery,' says Gere, through which you can find 'beingness' (whatever that means).

Watching Jennifer Aniston’s character Rachel read a collection of the Dalai Lama’s teachings in Central Perk on
Friends a few years ago, you might also think that Tibetan Buddhism is something you can ingest while sipping on a skinny-milk, no-cream, hazelnut latte.

Or consider the answer given by one of Frank J. Korom’s students at Boston University when he asked her why she was wearing a Tibetan Buddhist necklace. 'It keeps me healthy and happy,' she said, reducing Tibetan Buddhism, as so many Dalai Lama-loving undergrads do, to the religious equivalent of knocking back a vitamin pill.

The reality couldn’t be more different."
How different? Well, aside from the "garish statues of dancing demons, fat golden Buddhas surrounded by wads of cash, walls and ceilings painted in super-lavish colours, and such a stench of incense that it’s like being in a hippy student’s dorm room", he says:

"The first devout Buddhists I encountered looked neither healthy nor happy. They were walking from their villages in southern Tibet to Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, Tibetan Buddhism’s holiest site, and the journey had taken them nearly three months. Which isn’t surprising considering that with every third or fourth step they took, they got down on their knees and then fully prostrated themselves on the ground, lying flat on their bellies and burying their faces in the dirt, before getting back up, taking a few more steps, and doing the painful prostration thing again.

It looked life-zappingly exhausting. They moved at a snail’s pace. Their foreheads were stained grey from such frequent, unforgiving contact with the bruising earth. They wore wooden planks on their hands, which made a deathly clatter every time they hurled themselves downwards."
Now that sounds like a truly "green" lifestyle to me! And one O'Neill says he'd "like to see Jennifer Aniston try", as would I, since she's so keen on getting the rest of us into it. I'd also like to see the inside of her home because, I'm sure, it's probably not "spiritual" enough yet:

"Packed with weird statues. Red demons with contorted faces. Smug-looking Buddhas smiling patronizingly at the poor, exhausted worshippers. There’s a statue of the 'Living Buddha' (now deceased) who administered this temple in the 1950s and 60s and it is wearing sunglasses. Terrifyingly, it looks like a cross between the Buddha and Bono."
Are you starting to get the impression these holier-than-thou celebrities are either deceiving themselves, or "trying to pull a fast one" on you, yet? And what about all that Western worshipping of the Dalai Lama? Surely in Tibet, of all places, they must be down with that, too, right?

"Tibetan Buddhism, like every other religion on Earth, is made up of various, sometimes horn-locking sects.

I excitedly lined up an interview with one of the monks and asked if he’s looking forward to the day when the Dalai Lama returns from exile in northern India. He patiently told me—dumb Westerner that I am—that he doesn’t worship the Dalai Lama, because he is a member of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism while the Dalai Lama is head of the Gelug school. Then there’s the Kagyu school and the Sakya school—making four in total—which have hot-headed disagreements and have even come to blows in recent years over which deities should be worshipped and which should not. Religion of peace? Yeah, right."
Hmmm. This isn't going too well. So maybe Jennifer wants the rest of Americans to go the Eastern route because Buddhism isn't like those close-minded religions in the West? You know, receiving all that "enlightenment" one gets when you're "spiritual but not religious"? That has to be it.

"Tibetan Buddhism has a whole lotta hang-ups about gays and girls, too. It says gay sex is 'unnatural.' The Dalai Lama declared in a talk in Seattle in 1993, during one of his whistle stop, U2-style world tours, that 'nature arranged male and female organs in such a manner that is very suitable… same-sex organs cannot manage well.' (Someone needs to explain to His Holiness how gay people get it on.)"
Funny, but I've never heard Richard Gere mention that when he was putting on a show, bowing and scraping at the Dalai Lama's feet in San Francisco. Surely, it was only a mere oversight - or maybe he's got it all wrong - or somebody's lying:

"As Bernard Faure of Columbia University says: 'Like most clerical discourses, Buddhism is… relentlessly misogynist.' So while Tibetan women can become nuns, they can’t advance nearly as far as men. Because according to Buddhist teachings it is impossible for women to become 'the perfectly rightfully Enlightened One,' 'the Universal Monarch,' 'the King of Gods,' 'the King of Death,' or 'Brahmaa'—the five highest, holiest positions in Buddhism."
Wow. That sounds a lot like the evil Catholic church, there. So much so, that even O'Neill notices something is amiss:

"It is striking how much the backward elements of Tibetan Buddhism are forgiven or glossed over by its hippyish, celebrity, and middle-class followers over here,...the way in which this religion has come to be viewed in Western New Age circles as a peaceful, pure, happy-clappy cult of softly-smiling, Buddha-like beings. Again, it’s no such thing."
Well, I'm glad to see he got the "c" word in there, but "backward"? Buddhist nonsense is supposed to be far, far superior to the nonsense being delivered on this side of the planet, isn't it? I've been told that for years - some Buddhists have practically threatened my life to make the point of how great it is - and now you're telling me it's just the NewAge nonsense I've been railing against all along?

"Frank J. Korom describes it as 'New Age orientalism,' where Westerners in search of some cheap and easy purpose in their empty lives 'appropriate Tibet and portions of its religious culture for their own purposes.' They treat a very old, complex religion as a kind of buffet of ideas that they can pick morsels from, jettisoning the stranger, more demanding stuff—like the dancing demons and the prostration workout—but picking up the shiny things, like the sacred necklaces and bracelets and the BS about reincarnation.

It is all about them. They have bent and warped a religion to suit their own needs. As the Tibetan lama Dagyab Kyabgon Rinpoche puts it, 'The concept of "Tibet" becomes a symbol for all those qualities that Westerners feel lacking: joie de vivre, harmony, warmth and spirituality… Tibet thus becomes a utopia, and Tibetans become noble savages.'"
In other words, it's just more racist NewAge crap, dressed up to make white Westerners feel good about themselves - again:

"Western losers have ransacked Tibetan Buddhism in search of the holy grail of self-meaning."
"Western losers" - just as I've always said. A bunch of empty, purposeless fools in search of a way to attract attention from the rest of us, and away from themselves, because if they don't have *something* - anything - to distract them, the idea they're absolutely worthless human beings will become way too obvious and overwhelming. Even if they have money. Especially if they have money.

Or did you think "Friends" was great art?

It's no wonder Jennifer Anniston can't keep a man.

Or that - by a long shot - Western Buddhists/NewAgers make being an atheist (of knowing yourself and the world around you for what it truly is) look better and better every day.

Oh - and before I forget - if any of this information is new to you, you might want to also check out my post, "Goose-Stepping To God":

There's more to this "Dalai Lama" person - and his fans - than meets the eye,...
