It hasn't been since before 2000, when Bill & Hillary Clinton (plus Al Gore) led the USA into the fraudulent world of alternative medicine, with a former member of the Rajneesh cult (featured in the Netflix documentary "Wild, Wild Country") at the helm. No, that's just another example of how long the thinking's been "solid" around here,...before everything started really going to Hell. Come on, with over 20 years of this government-endorsed quackery ahead of him, how else does anyone think Aaron Rodgers got the balls to, both, claim he'd been "immunized" and think he'd get away with it?

I released a song about the Democrat's cult just as the Right is mounting a defense of Alex Jones. Good Lord. It’s awful weird to hear complaints, that people are unrepentantly spreading misinformation, and then watch them defend those very same people when their ability to do so is curtailed. I think the internet companies should go further and wipe out GOOP, Oprah, astrologers, Ellen (because she’s always pumping up psychics) homeopaths, yogis, and all the other charlatans we know - with 100% certainty - are making a very good living from confusing every damned issue they can get their hands on for those who are, for whatever reason, vulnerable enough to believe them. I lived with such a person. It was horrifying to watch her be manipulated by these people. There were even deaths.
This society-wide lying in the West has to stop. The people telling the lies are determined to make us think President Trump warped our world, but, really, a short trip in history will reveal, not only that Oprah Winfrey declared “The Secret” was science long before Trump ever ran for anything (to no public condemnation) but Frank Furedi’s essay “The Age of Unreason” was published in 2005, as was the original BBC broadcast of Richard Dawkins’ “The Enemies of Reason”. Before that, we even had Francis Ween’s literary contribution, “How Mumbo-Jumbo Conquered the World: A Short History of Modern Delusions” in 2004.
As John Lennon wrote of the Maharishi’s welcoming from the West in “Sexy Sadie”, everyone has been made into fools - again. They entered the cult of NewAge. “The Wild, Wild Country” where a Rajneesh delivers their news and an astrology outfit (which is what The Daily Kos supposedly was before it switched to politics) directs their actions. It’s time to get out of it now. It’s time for America to let it go.
And it’s already waaay past time for more-than-a-few very famous people to go to jail.
Nazi LeaderHermann Goering’s Niece is a NewAger, just like her uncle's associates, talking of glorified past lives while "working" as an acupuncturist. And this is after she spent time (with Arianna Huffington?) in the Rajneesh cult of Osho, which famously poisoned an entire Oregon town over (what else?) politics.
How big a pest are they? They will gobble up at least 500 different types of plants, but that's not all. They also can cause structural damage to plaster and stucco by chewing on houses. Oh yeah, and they can carry a parasitic nematode that can lead to meningitis in humans.
So you wouldn't want to mess with them, would you? But somebody did, and that's where the story takes a particularly Floridian turn.
Florida authorities believe they were smuggled into Miami by followers of a religious cult based on the traditional African religion Ifa Orisha. One follower flew from Africa to Miami with the snails hidden under her dress, according to police.
Authorities said the cult leader, Charles Stewart, persuaded his followers to drink the snails' mucus as part of a "healing ritual." As a result, one newspaper noted dryly, "several practitioners became violently ill."
Stewart blamed the uproar over the snails on jealousy from Miami's many occult Santeria practitioners.
Jealousy? Wow.

She became a follower of the Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, whose cult practiced open sexual intercourse among its members and with its leader, as a central tenet of their faith. The cult is most famous for attempting to take over an Oregon town. The faithful purchased 139 white Rolls-Royces for their leader. A 2001 book, “Germs: Biological Weapons and America’s Secret War,” by New York Times reporter Judith Miller, revealed the cult spread potentially lethal salmonella bacteria in this town with the intent of infecting and incapacitating residents on Election Day so Rajneesh could win control of the local government.
From the Bhagwan, Huffington hooked up with John-Roger, founder of a New Age Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, based on “the Mystical Traveler, a spiritual consciousness that exists throughout all levels of God’s creation.” In 1994, one of John-Roger’s disciples, Peter McWilliams, wrote “Life 102: What to Do When Your Guru Sues You,” alleging he was brainwashed to write John-Roger’s books with the promise he would be miraculously cured of AIDS. In the book, McWilliams wrote that Huffington had become a major financial backer of John-Roger and an ordained minister in his movement. McWilliams released a video of Huffington in a white robe being baptized by John-Roger.
From all appearances, Huffington’s devotion to John-Roger continues to this day.

Yes, she would, because - no matter how insane she is - just like Oprah, she can do or say anything and she'll still be held up as some kind of female icon, simply for fooling people for so long (the scumbags give you points for that now,...) Don't you think, maybe - after all these years - someone should publicly ask Wonder Woman what her poisoning-others-for-group-sex cult days were like?
When is this nation going to decide that if a person repeatedly reveals themselves to be a hypocrite, wrong in their political judgement, or just a plain ol' liar, they aren't worth listening to any longer?

That anyone would look to a member of the sinister Rajneesh cult for political guidance, or to use as a talking head on American television, should tell you how off-kilter our political culture is, and how worthless our media has become. Arianna Huffington has repeatedly switched positions, without ever taking responsibility for being wrong about anything, and done so without any scrutiny what-so-ever. Just as no one has probed her many ties to cults and cultish endeavors of every stripe.
Everything about her, and the value-free world of political celebrity she inhabits, is disgusting.
Here's one of the finest expose's on an individual cult that I've read in a long, long time. It's about the Rajneesh - the cult of the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, above - one of the cults Arianna Huffington was in (though, incredibly, no one's ever asked her about her participation in their mass orgies or the poisoning of an Oregon town). What makes this expose' so good is that, unlike Jayanti Tamm's recent article in The Huffington Post, this is giving us the perspectives of those inside the cult and outside of it.
In other words, something closer to the truth.

I have to say, again, that I'm sorry it's taking me so long to present it but, without excuses, it's a much larger undertaking than most and just finding the time to write it all out is daunting.

So, as we all should know by now (don't we?) Kim Jong-Il reportedly has had a stroke, or died, depending on who's talking. What nobody's talking about - but should be of grave concern to us all - is what happens next:
Just like people (myself included) are predicting a very-negative reaction if the "Cult Of Obama" isn't satisfied this November, the people of North Korea are going to have a very-difficult time understanding how the sun came up if they discover there's no pudgy, bouffant-hairdoed, Yoko Ono-styled-aviator glasses-wearing, jumpsuited "Dear Leader", in elevator shoes, to make it happen.
No, seriously, this could get really ugly: I write a lot about the cults, and cultish strains, running through the western world, but the idea of an entire nation of radical "eastern" whackjobs, finally unhinged from their crazy belief system, is terrifying - and has the potential to cause a lot of trouble for the countries on their border. It's enough to make me feel sorry for China.
What's going to happen? I don't know. Depends on how long the regime can keep a secret (so far, so good) and how they handle it from there. Who knows: maybe they can convince the morons somebody else is The Sun King.
I'm using a lot of stuff from The Onion here, but don't laugh Democrats and NewAgers: you look just like these guys, but with a different set of fetishes. You flock to Barry, and Oprah, and Sylvia, without thinking, wore the robes of the Rajneesh, and still do everything the bogus Maharishi said (meditation, anyone?) and on and on and on. You're a bunch of freaks.
