Duh! Tell Me Something I Didn't Know Already

If you ask me, WikiLeaks is pretty much worthless. Even the cynicism of contacts through Bush House is obvious without their "help":
The BBC could be part of a ‘propaganda media network’ for al-Qeada, according  to U.S. files published by WikiLeaks.

A phone number of someone at the BBC was found in phone books and programmed  into the mobile phones of a number of militants seized by the Americans.

The number is believed to be based at Bush House, the headquarters of the BBC World Service.
WikiLeaks accuses BBC of being part of 'possible propaganda media network' for Al Qaeda

Look, wake me up when they've revealed the Fergie tie-in, O.K.? (You know there's GOT to be a Fergie tie-in,...)

It Goes On: Sarah, Psychics & Kate: Beware Will

I'm continuing to follow this story because, I have to admit, it's fun. First, let's get you caught up:

Rumours are continuing to swirl around Prince Andrew, Duke of York and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson.

Last week it was revealed that the Duke had broken all ties with his former friend, the convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein, who had given his ex-wife £15,000 to help pay her debts. Ms Ferguson has now admitted that she had made a ‘gigantic error’ in accepting the money. Mr Epstein is now facing further investigation in the US over his alleged procurement of under-age girls at social events he hosted and which were attended by high-profile figures.
And further questions have been asked about the incident in which Ms Ferguson was recorded in a News of the World (NOW) sting where she offered a reporter posing as an Arab businessman £500,000 to gain access to her former husband. At the time, she adamantly denied that the Duke knew anything about it. The Duke denied knowing the reported go-between who arranged the meeting between the NOW and Ms Ferguson, Azra Scagliarini. But it has since emerged that he did know of Ms Scagliarini, who was Ms Ferguson’s psychic, because she had sent him a Christmas present and he had written her a thank-you letter in which he thanked her for her ‘help and friendship’.
And now we have this:

In a highly unusual move, the royal bride-to-be Kate Middleton has been receiving advice from her late mother-in-law with the help of a titled psychic.

The medium, who insists on anonymity but who belongs to one of England's most distinguished families, regularly contacts the dead on behalf of members of the political and social establishment, including the Duchess of York, who suggested that Kate would benefit from a "conversation" with Princess Diana.

"Kate was a bit sceptical, but the pressure has been getting to her recently," a family friend reveals. "In the end, she thought no harm could be done and agreed to attend a séance with her sister Philippa."
Psychics are bound by a code of client confidentiality, but family friends report that the sisters' mood of light-hearted scepticism was quickly dispelled when the unmistakable voice of Diana was channelled through the psychic, revealing details of Prince William's life which only a mother would know.

During the 45-minute session, Princess Diana is reported to have been "giggly and delighted" that Kate was to become her daughter-in-law. On a more serious note, she expressed concern about the princess-to-be's diet, and advised Kate to watch out for certain named members of Prince Charles's inner circle of advisers.

Prince William is reported to be "not best pleased" by his future wife's show of independence.
Just a few exit questions:

Considering there's never been a real psychic, which means they're all liars, how much credence can we give to their "code of client confidentiality"? (And what kind of "reporter" is gullible enough to fall for that line? If you ask me, reporters today just ain't what they used to be,...)

Notice how Kate's reported attitude ("no harm could be done") is the same twisted logic (they never ask what good could be done?) that people use to get themselves into NewAge quackery - which kills and harms people, regularly, in all sorts of unforeseen ways? And hasn't the poor girl ever heard the words "scam" or "fraud" or "con man" before? Hasn't she noticed how crappy Diana and Fergie's lives have turned out to be though they both have listened to these nutjobs?

Notice how visiting a trouble-making liar - probably for a fee - is framed as a woman's "show of independence"? Independence from whom? And if they mean Kate's trying to gain independence already from her future husband, Prince William - before they're even wed - should he be marrying her to begin with?

Notice how Fergie - a woman who couldn't keep her own marriage together and has been involved in one scandal after another - has to interfere in another's marriage, before it's even gotten going, and is determined to weave NewAge into it - and her antics aren't questioned by anyone?

And finally - boy, it sure did Diana a whole lot of good (and is still apparently doing so for Fergie) to be mixed up with these psychic cult monsters, didn't it?

My advice to Prince William:

If any of this psychic business is true, break off the engagement, or at least postpone things, until you're sure Fergie's out of your relationship and Kate's got her head on straight. If Kate still sees throwing money at frauds claiming they're howling at the moon for your momma as a "show of independence" then let the bitch be independent - without you.

Who needs some crazy feminist - throwing money away for interference like this - for the rest of your life?

For Most Of Your Lives (You Haven't Had One)

Oh dear, here we go again. Since Glenn Reynolds has suggested that Ann Althouse and New Media Meade deserve some kind of blogging award for merely living in Wisconsin and doing what the media refuse to do (don't get me wrong: I agree they do) can I get a prize or something for digging into another story Reynolds and pretty much everyone else barely even acknowledge?

As I mentioned a week ago - in an effort to underline that too many are ambivalent about truth and, thus, not really interested in what's important - the really bad crowd were going about their dubious business, with nary a word from the chattering classes, because they were focussed on Charlie Sheen. Well, events are taking another turn in the very episode I outlined, and of course - just to rub it in good - there's now another NewAger at the center of things:
Prince Andrew is facing fresh questions over his involvement in the £500,000 cash-for-access scandal surrounding his ex-wife.

Doubts were raised after evidence emerged contradicting his denials that he had ever known a psychic employed by Sarah Ferguson.

Andrew last year vigorously denied all knowledge of his former wife’s plot to take £500,000 from a wealthy businessman in return for arranging a meeting with the duke.

Days later, he also denied that he had ever met or heard of Sarah’s friend Azra Scagliarini, a clairvoyant. Miss Scagliarini was yesterday identified as the ‘go-between’ who set up a meeting between Sarah and a News of the World reporter posing as an Arab businessman.

Now a handwritten letter from the duke to Miss Scagliarini has emerged, in which he thanks her for her ‘help and friendship’.

The thank you note for a Christmas gift is dated January 1999, indicating that he had in fact known the 46-year-old psychic to the stars for more than a decade.

The revelation comes at a time of growing concern over the duke’s judgment and his links to dubious characters, including the American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who is a convicted paedophile, and tyrannical leaders including Colonel Gaddafi and his son Saif.

The Daily Mail understands that New York-based Miss Scagliarini does not claim to have met Andrew face to face, but is adamant that the pair have had ‘dozens’ of phone conversations since she was hired as one of Sarah’s spiritual advisers in 1998.
Now how many times do I have to say you're looking at the wrong things? When are you going to learn we've got this huge grey area existing in our society - called NewAge - and it's filled with psychics and cults and killers and liars, and only by unraveling who they are, and what they have their hands in, will we ever get a handle on what's going on out there?

Do you seriously think I just pulled this particular scandal out of a hat to make my point- and it just happened to involve a psychic? Or was it because it contained my usual topics (NewAgers, lying, child abuse, fraud) with my usual cast of characters? Come on, with the exception of Charlie Rose, we've been over all these subjects before:

The Royal Family.

From the Queen to Prince Charles to Diana to Fergie - all of them are/were NewAgers with numerous contacts in the occult underworld. Of course, Britain's The News of the World would exploit that knowledge to get at the truth, even if America's so-called smart set refuses to do so.

Celebrity.

Oprah Winfrey is at the center of the NewAge belief system (it is now accepted we bow before her) and she just happens to be friends with almost everyone involved in this scandal, starting with Fergie.

Politics.

Where to start? Bill "a higher state of consciousness" Clinton, Hillary "I talk to psychics" Clinton, George "I lied for Clinton" Stephanopoulos, and their pal, Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted paedophile and major donor to their campaigns.

What holds all these people together? NewAge, and the various subjects it's regularly associated with, and nothing more. But while everyone will hold hearings on Islam, or fight Republicans based on connections to the Christian Right, or investigate child abuse in the Catholic church, or even go see musicals on Broadway about Mormons, this one group (probably with the exception of Scientology) gets off, scott free, with little-to-no examination whatsoever, no matter how idiotic the belief, heinous the behavior, or ugly the crimes they're repeatedly proven to be involved in. I've talked to many people about this and, despite their interest in every other belief system causing trouble out there, when it comes to NewAge they all say "We don't play that game" like exposing NewAgers is a crime itself.

And trust me, I know what they mean:

NewAge is the belief system of the Baby Boomers, so, in a sense, they do consider it a crime to expose it's dark side - a crime against themselves.

Few want to acknowledge it as such, but (along with his own stupidity) NewAgers - including a psychic - brought down John Edwards.

MoveOn.org is an astrology outfit - an astrology outfit backing everything conservatives don't want in this country, starting with the fight against public unions.

Oprah brought us the disaster of Barack Obama - who got the full support of NewAgers - further led by cult leaders and frauds like Arianna Huffington and Deepak Chopra. And, despite all the evidence Americans have absolutely no reason to take Oprah's - or any other NewAger's - word for anything, they repeatedly go to her and them for advice and solace.

Right after the actor and comedian Jim Carrey declared he was a NewAger, he was fingered in the anti-vaccine fraud that took the lives of children world-wide.

NewAgers, like Louise Hay, are major donors, producers, and consumers, of NPR, PBS, and the CPB - and, if you ask me, a major reason for the white, elitist, liberal politics they espouse - and why it's been so easy to bust them (the NewAge conception of "duality" makes believers evil - and stupid). Note to David Brooks - who has espoused NewAge views several times before:

Nothing about NewAge is representative of our "common culture".

As I've said before, whether Charlie Sheen is crazy is a matter of opinion, but - whether the world we live in is - that is beyond dispute.

And the fact the Baby Boom's big brains uniformly refuse to investigate what NewAge is up to, no matter what NewAgers do - while looking strenuously and directly at every other belief system under the sun and how they affect our lives - is all the proof I need this is the truth:

For the last four decades, America has been locked in a madhouse - and it's the NewAge Baby Boomers who have been holding the key.

Charlie Sheen Runs With A Bad Crowd? (Rubes)

Considering all the BS everybody wants to dump on regular guy Charlie Sheen - and, especially, considering the we-played-for-Gaddafi troupers - here's a few stories everybody should keep in mind the next time one of these celebrities are paraded before us as people we should look up to:
It’s no secret that Bill Clinton has long been friends with convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein has contributed to both Bill and Hillary’s campaigns. But no one knew about the night Bill spent on Epstein’s private Caribbean island with three underage girls until now.
Oh, but this Epstein nonsense gets better:
Last week I wrote about a party thrown by this convicted sleazebag for a group of news anchors including Charlie Rose, George Stephanopoulos, and Katie Couric. The next day I received a message from Katie Couric expressing her regret for attending the party, Stephanopoulos and Rose never responded. So let me ask again: Why are George Stephanopoulos and Charlie Rose socializing with this guy? Don’t ABC and PBS have some kind of ethics clause in their employee contracts?
Nope, not done yet - over to England:
Prince Andrew attended naked pool parties at the home of his billionaire paedophile friend, it was claimed yesterday.

Young women frolicked nude in the swimming pool while the Duke of York visited the Florida mansion of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
And since we have to tie everything - literally everything - into Oprah and her friends (like NewAge "sweat lodge" murderer James Arthur Ray) here comes her gal pal - and children's book author - Sarah Ferguson:
The British Royal Family has added another scandal to its growing list, as news broke this weekend that ex-Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson once accepted £15,000 ($30,000) from a millionaire New Yorker convicted of pedophilia.

Ferguson, who held the nickname 'Fergie' from 1984 to 2003, accepted funds from hedge-fund millionaire and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in order to pay debts to her former personal assistant. Ferguson's ex-husband, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, reportedly assisted with the deal.
And to that we can only add one word:

Winning!

TMR: We've Got Your Negroes, And Your Nigros, While A Tree Grows In England (& In My Pants)

Right.

Isn't that how the British do "macho"? Before they drop something on you, they say, "Right", and then start talking? I'm just wondering because I found this great quote by Sarah Jessica Snarker (probably not her real name) as she's talking about the actor, Jeremy Irons, AKA the "new sustainability charlatan on the block", who is not only a hypocritically delusional liar but also British.

Here's the quote I love so much:

"Let us all shun our materialistic existences and go live in a cave somewhere while harvesting nuts and berries and clothing ourselves in garments spun from spiderwebs and unicorn fluff,..."
What can I say?

I'm a sucker for two things - good writing and references to "unicorn fluff"! See, when I was younger, I'd go over to girls houses and they'd have those stupid stuffed unicorn dolls on their beds, which would always give me a good, warm and fuzzy feeling - and a real solid hard on - because I knew I was getting laid if she fell for that shit!

It had something to do with unicorn horns equaling "horny", so her pubes became "unicorn fluff", or something. I don't know - I'm riffing here! - but can we really build a sustainable world on teenage girls' pubic hair? I've got to ponder that one. I guess teenage boys would certainly like to try. Hey, it's about as realistic as what the environmentalists are always pushing on us - no matter how stupid they are, they just won't shut up! - but, I guess, I digress,...

My own time with silly unicorn-loving wannabe NewAge sexpots (sexbots?) was a long time ago, and I'm a rational conservative Red, White, and Blue/black American now, so let's forget all about imaginary animals, and this "Right" nonsense (sorry, Brits) and get this party started The American Way, with:

Fuck!

Man, do I feel bad. Right after I go and have a field day dissing Sarah Ferguson - England's "Duchess of Dork" - for being a NewAge idiot who was bound to cause trouble, she goes on The Oprah Winfrey Show (Where else?) and actually says something "enlightened" - in an ass-backwards kind of way - here it is:
"I think I’ve been like a huge, overtrusting, idiotic, stupid woman that went and looked for this situation, and that’s all I can say, really."
Is that brilliant, or what? (And isn't that exactly what I said about her, or what? My NewAge studies have paid off well,...)

Most NewAgers, being complete and utter fools (as well as slaves to public image) would rather die than admit their "never-ending search" led to how dumb they've behaved - sure, we can also ignore the fact that most NewAgers aren't caught on tape - still, I'm willing to give credit where credit is due, and Sarah's open admission that her NewAge outlook led directly to her self-destruction (as far as I'm concerned) is a major step in the right direction.

I'm not kidding.

I respect this statement as Sarah's beginning stab at some honesty, and candor, and I also think - if she uses it as a starting point, in a new direction, for her own personal development - one day, she could even become a winning example for other NewAgers to follow.

Of course, that would require that other NewAgers would also recognize they're a bunch of idiotic assholes, but, unfortunately, there's very little indication that's going to happen anytime soon.

But it could! It really could!

If Sarah-fucking-Ferguson can recognize her own foolishness (instead of, against all the evidence otherwise, relentlessly declaring her own divinity) then all hope ain't lost. The other silly bunnies out there could, for instance, stop checking in with each other and listen to Joseph Nigro, TMR's erstwhile partner in crime (who we haven't heard from in, like, forever) who probably thinks, since Ayn Rand started a pseudo-conservative pseudo-sex cult, that might be as good a place for NewAgers to start plotting their way out as any.

"Birds of a feather", and all that.

Actually, keeping the TMR tradition alive, what Herr Nigro truly suggests for the following quote is "All NewAgers should be required to have this tattooed on their forehead. Then when they sit in their circle of rocks in Sedona, Arizona, everyone they look at will force them to face it". In an honest world, we'd have that shit implemented in a week, but in this one, here goes, straight from the boss man to Sarah Ferguson, and all the other NewAgers, the world over:

"The self you have betrayed is your mind; self-esteem is reliance on one’s power to think. The ego you seek, that essential 'you' which you cannot express or define, is not your emotions or inarticulate dreams, but your intellect, that judge of your supreme tribunal whom you’ve impeached in order to drift at the mercy ...of any stray shyster you describe as your 'feeling.'"
Awww. Isn't that sweet? It's like giving Sarah Ferguson and friends an affectionate peck on the cheek, but directed at what's left of their poor, malnourished, and barely used or functioning minds.

Now show us your tits.

I'm kidding! Really.

This is The Macho Response - and we really, really care!

Not Well Red (But Extremely Well-Ridden)

Sigh. Does nothing ever change about NewAge - or NewAgers? Can't even one of them ever invent something useful? Will not one of them ever break the mold? Must they all be mental midgets?

To anyone wondering how Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has found herself in this latest ugly episode, I'll let Tina Brown clue you in to the key issue - and, keep in mind, this is from someone who "always found her a sympathetic figure":

"Her naïveté is almost deranged, but what can you expect? Like her onetime sister-in-law Princess Diana—but without Di’s pedigree or trust fund—Fergie left school at 18 and was educated for nothing except horsey infidelity in the shires.

She had a weakness for health quacks and palm readers. One of her favorites in the Diana years was the Greek medium Madame Vasso in North London, who provided a blue plastic pyramid in which Fergie sat to be cleansed and healed.

She was always nuts."
Say it with me: yes she was. Just "like her onetime sister-in-law Princess Diana,..." But, I ask you, how many people do you think ever bothered to inform Fergie she's fruitloops?

You know, like, to her bug-eyed face?

Isn't that what friends are for?

Didn't anyone (her family, the equally-crazy Elton John, a psychic or seer, or someone else that would be willing to sit in a blue plastic pyramid with her) ever consider that - if they were ever straight-up with Fergie - the poor dumb slut probably wouldn't always be popping up in these situations?

As I'm sure you know (because I've said it a billion-and-one times) I have an extremely hard time feeling sympathy for NewAgers because - as Fergie's latest muck-up proves, again - NewAgers mostly hurt those around them.

Like, what must her daughters be thinking?

Wait - they're pretty thick, too - nevermind.

Well, maybe look at Prince Andrew, who first had to suffer Fergie's (typically NewAge) infidelity, which led to their (typically NewAge) divorce, and, ever since, he has had to defend his honor - and is now also hoping to keep his job - all because his delusionally dense and (typically NewAge) over-sexed goof of an ex-wife was always too (typically NewAge) greedy, too (typically NewAge) arrogant, and too (typically NewAge) stupid to be believed.

And - before anyone writes in, trying to whitewash her, as they did Diana - let's not take the spotlight off of the adulterous suck-my-toes side of "The Duchess":

Yessiree, that's just the sort of imagery that always melts the heart.

Sarah Ferguson, you poor, poor thing.

And now that I've allowed myself to see The Real Sarah Ferguson again - and just like with my own NewAge ex - I'm growing tired of putzing around with this loony bitch, so let's get this over with:

Like most NewAgers, Sarah Ferguson is nothing more than another in our very-very-long line of stupid, ugly, immature, immoral, idiotic, two-bit celebrity whores, seemingly "educated for nothing except horsey infidelity in the shires."

Which, needless to say, she's already accomplished.

What's different about Fergie is - we now know for sure - like most NewAgers, she's living a little bit lower, and cums a little bit cheaper, than all the rest combined.
