Staring At The River, Thinking About The Sea

Like “reading”, people see the word “therapy” and wrongly assume there’s "care" involved.

I wonder about any “therapy” that would drive Prince Harry into the arms of someone, so obviously striving as Meghan Markle, assuming - whatever it was - it's exactly the same sort of NewAge nonsense that inspired his parent’s own matrimonial disaster.

The whole family is enthralled to “spiritual” idiocy, except, possibly, Phillip, so there’s no reason to doubt it.

That man’s in t-r-o-u-b-l-e.

Best Of Luck, You Two

"Is this proof Meghan visits a psychic like Diana did? Make-up artist publicly thanks royal bride-to-be for recommending a ‘truly gifted intuitive’ (who charges $250 an hour)"

"Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had regular appointments with an acupuncturist in the lead-up to their wedding."

"Meghan Markle takes an array of supplements,...Meghan is a fan of alternative medicine,...'I have been a longtime believer in acupuncture and cupping,..."

Young, Dumb, And Full Of (The Queen Mum's Credibility)

Alright, now that he's in trouble, Drudge has got me thinking about it:

Poor Harry. It's gotta be a drag having to live up to the whole "I'm a prince" thing, even if it includes frolicking with six naked girls.

There was a band I used to tour with, where part of the show included the lead singer giving a speech about his love for the wife and kid, but every night he'd bed a couple of blondes, a hypocrisy that never sat right with me. (Now his show includes a heavy dose of "spirituality," so you can imagine the duplicity involved there.) I mention that because, even then, questions of personal dignity and ethics were raging through my mind, making me wonder if anyone else shared them.

It's gotta be tough on Harry. Born into Di and Charlie's sick and twisted NewAge "heir and a spare" situation (made morbid by her death) he's richer than shit - and in a time when life holds about as little meaning as it ever has - how's he supposed to figure anything out when nobody else appears to? Sure, it's just keeping your pants up in public, but come on:

There were six of them!

And girls are weird. Other than in a dressing room of some kind, I think I've only been naked with other men enough times that I can count them on one hand. But women? It seems like all you have to do is tell them it's O.K. and they'll "drop trou" anywhere, no matter how many others are around - nude beaches, wet T-shirt contests, saunas, photography studios; anywhere there's a camera they'll provocatively pose. Hell, they now take naked photos of themselves and send them to others.

I guess that's what happens if they haven't developed an inner life of some kind. And, considering any man can see that hole in their psychological makeup, it's mighty hard not to take advantage. Pimping is based on it. What's that old pimp line? "Let [women] run they own lives and they go crazy,…"

O.K., I'm saying too much - I know too much - and because of that, in truth, I don't care. Thanks to the hippies, people have long ago taken "freedom" to mean from responsibility, and especially from anyone's long-term interests, so some red head kid's commonly idiotic behavior in Vegas holds about as much interest, for me, as it did the birds flying by his hotel. (There were six of them!) Once the Queen's gone, all that "royalty" nonsense will be over anyway.

Watch.

This Is A Big Day For Losers Confessing,...

...James Hewitt says he considered suicide after his affair with Princess Diana:
I felt I had let people down - probably myself, my family, my friends, the nation, the army, my regiment. Other than that, no one at all.
Which sounds like our old friend, shame, who we were told was dead. Now why would Hewitt feel like that? He'd slept with another man's wife, publicly, but today he's claiming he doesn't want to talk about details - like whether or not Harry's his son - "out of respect for everyone." Where was his sense of "respect" before? Where was Diana's? (And why was everyone worshipping that NewAge cult freak again?) Where was Charles' - or Camilla's? Who, or what, at this point - Diana IS still dead - is he supposedly respecting?

And what is anyone celebrating any of these people for, even now? Isn't Kate Middleton willingly following in Diana's footsteps?

As Jerry Seinfeld said, they're not special people - they're even less than average.

They're a bunch of fucking losers.

It Goes On: Sarah, Psychics & Kate: Beware Will

I'm continuing to follow this story because, I have to admit, it's fun. First, let's get you caught up:

Rumours are continuing to swirl around Prince Andrew, Duke of York and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson.

Last week it was revealed that the Duke had broken all ties with his former friend, the convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein, who had given his ex-wife £15,000 to help pay her debts. Ms Ferguson has now admitted that she had made a ‘gigantic error’ in accepting the money. Mr Epstein is now facing further investigation in the US over his alleged procurement of under-age girls at social events he hosted and which were attended by high-profile figures.
And further questions have been asked about the incident in which Ms Ferguson was recorded in a News of the World (NOW) sting where she offered a reporter posing as an Arab businessman £500,000 to gain access to her former husband. At the time, she adamantly denied that the Duke knew anything about it. The Duke denied knowing the reported go-between who arranged the meeting between the NOW and Ms Ferguson, Azra Scagliarini. But it has since emerged that he did know of Ms Scagliarini, who was Ms Ferguson’s psychic, because she had sent him a Christmas present and he had written her a thank-you letter in which he thanked her for her ‘help and friendship’.
And now we have this:

In a highly unusual move, the royal bride-to-be Kate Middleton has been receiving advice from her late mother-in-law with the help of a titled psychic.

The medium, who insists on anonymity but who belongs to one of England's most distinguished families, regularly contacts the dead on behalf of members of the political and social establishment, including the Duchess of York, who suggested that Kate would benefit from a "conversation" with Princess Diana.

"Kate was a bit sceptical, but the pressure has been getting to her recently," a family friend reveals. "In the end, she thought no harm could be done and agreed to attend a séance with her sister Philippa."
Psychics are bound by a code of client confidentiality, but family friends report that the sisters' mood of light-hearted scepticism was quickly dispelled when the unmistakable voice of Diana was channelled through the psychic, revealing details of Prince William's life which only a mother would know.

During the 45-minute session, Princess Diana is reported to have been "giggly and delighted" that Kate was to become her daughter-in-law. On a more serious note, she expressed concern about the princess-to-be's diet, and advised Kate to watch out for certain named members of Prince Charles's inner circle of advisers.

Prince William is reported to be "not best pleased" by his future wife's show of independence.
Just a few exit questions:

Considering there's never been a real psychic, which means they're all liars, how much credence can we give to their "code of client confidentiality"? (And what kind of "reporter" is gullible enough to fall for that line? If you ask me, reporters today just ain't what they used to be,...)

Notice how Kate's reported attitude ("no harm could be done") is the same twisted logic (they never ask what good could be done?) that people use to get themselves into NewAge quackery - which kills and harms people, regularly, in all sorts of unforeseen ways? And hasn't the poor girl ever heard the words "scam" or "fraud" or "con man" before? Hasn't she noticed how crappy Diana and Fergie's lives have turned out to be though they both have listened to these nutjobs?

Notice how visiting a trouble-making liar - probably for a fee - is framed as a woman's "show of independence"? Independence from whom? And if they mean Kate's trying to gain independence already from her future husband, Prince William - before they're even wed - should he be marrying her to begin with?

Notice how Fergie - a woman who couldn't keep her own marriage together and has been involved in one scandal after another - has to interfere in another's marriage, before it's even gotten going, and is determined to weave NewAge into it - and her antics aren't questioned by anyone?

And finally - boy, it sure did Diana a whole lot of good (and is still apparently doing so for Fergie) to be mixed up with these psychic cult monsters, didn't it?

My advice to Prince William:

If any of this psychic business is true, break off the engagement, or at least postpone things, until you're sure Fergie's out of your relationship and Kate's got her head on straight. If Kate still sees throwing money at frauds claiming they're howling at the moon for your momma as a "show of independence" then let the bitch be independent - without you.

Who needs some crazy feminist - throwing money away for interference like this - for the rest of your life?

England, You're Getting Pretty Dotty In Old Age

Well, at least we know how many of the cluelessly gullible types are out there:
More  than half of Britons believe in life after death and two in five believe in angels.

Some 53 per cent believe in psychic powers and the possibility of life after death, a survey reveals. One in five say they have seen a ghost or felt the presence of a spirit while two in five believe in ‘guardian angels’.

Many people believe they have seen the ghost or felt the spirit of a close friend or relative who has passed away.

Two in five say they want to speak to dead relatives and one in five has visited a medium or psychic to help them do so – spending an average of £31 per visit.

Almost two in five adults believe someone in their family is gifted with psychic ability.

A third of the nation describe themselves as ‘spiritual’ but only a quarter claim to be ‘religious’, according to the study carried out for the Clint Eastwood film Hereafter.

However, a third of the nation still believes in heaven and a fifth believes they will be reincarnated when they pass away.

One in five British adults would also love to have a conversation with the former Princess of Wales. Albert Einstein came second in the online poll of 3,000 adults, followed by Marilyn Monroe and Freddie Mercury. Seven per cent of us want to chat to Adolf Hitler.

Penny Sartori, an expert on near-death experiences and author of the study, said people are now less worried about being ridiculed for believing in spirits.

But one in five of us would still be too embarrassed to admit we had seen or felt the presence of a ghost.
Now why would anyone be embarrassed about something they believed was true? We'll tell you:

Because even the hopelessly self-deluded are aware there's a huuuge difference between believing things and knowing them.

Not Well Red (But Extremely Well-Ridden)

Sigh. Does nothing ever change about NewAge - or NewAgers? Can't even one of them ever invent something useful? Will not one of them ever break the mold? Must they all be mental midgets?

To anyone wondering how Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has found herself in this latest ugly episode, I'll let Tina Brown clue you in to the key issue - and, keep in mind, this is from someone who "always found her a sympathetic figure":

"Her naïveté is almost deranged, but what can you expect? Like her onetime sister-in-law Princess Diana—but without Di’s pedigree or trust fund—Fergie left school at 18 and was educated for nothing except horsey infidelity in the shires.

She had a weakness for health quacks and palm readers. One of her favorites in the Diana years was the Greek medium Madame Vasso in North London, who provided a blue plastic pyramid in which Fergie sat to be cleansed and healed.

She was always nuts."
Say it with me: yes she was. Just "like her onetime sister-in-law Princess Diana,..." But, I ask you, how many people do you think ever bothered to inform Fergie she's fruitloops?

You know, like, to her bug-eyed face?

Isn't that what friends are for?

Didn't anyone (her family, the equally-crazy Elton John, a psychic or seer, or someone else that would be willing to sit in a blue plastic pyramid with her) ever consider that - if they were ever straight-up with Fergie - the poor dumb slut probably wouldn't always be popping up in these situations?

As I'm sure you know (because I've said it a billion-and-one times) I have an extremely hard time feeling sympathy for NewAgers because - as Fergie's latest muck-up proves, again - NewAgers mostly hurt those around them.

Like, what must her daughters be thinking?

Wait - they're pretty thick, too - nevermind.

Well, maybe look at Prince Andrew, who first had to suffer Fergie's (typically NewAge) infidelity, which led to their (typically NewAge) divorce, and, ever since, he has had to defend his honor - and is now also hoping to keep his job - all because his delusionally dense and (typically NewAge) over-sexed goof of an ex-wife was always too (typically NewAge) greedy, too (typically NewAge) arrogant, and too (typically NewAge) stupid to be believed.

And - before anyone writes in, trying to whitewash her, as they did Diana - let's not take the spotlight off of the adulterous suck-my-toes side of "The Duchess":

Yessiree, that's just the sort of imagery that always melts the heart.

Sarah Ferguson, you poor, poor thing.

And now that I've allowed myself to see The Real Sarah Ferguson again - and just like with my own NewAge ex - I'm growing tired of putzing around with this loony bitch, so let's get this over with:

Like most NewAgers, Sarah Ferguson is nothing more than another in our very-very-long line of stupid, ugly, immature, immoral, idiotic, two-bit celebrity whores, seemingly "educated for nothing except horsey infidelity in the shires."

Which, needless to say, she's already accomplished.

What's different about Fergie is - we now know for sure - like most NewAgers, she's living a little bit lower, and cums a little bit cheaper, than all the rest combined.

The Products Of NewAge: Two Idiots - Stupid Enough To Need The Admiration Of People They Don't Know (For Things They Haven't Done)

"Aside from both having blonde hair and lower-than-average IQ levels, there seems little to link the queen of reality TV with the self-styled queen of people’s hearts."

-- Brendan O’Neill, trying to nail down everything the cancer-stricken Jade Goody ("a chav, a racist and even a pig" and "gobby self-promoter from a broken home") and the NewAge Princess Diana ("a privileged socialite self-promoter" and "hybrid monster of therapy, religion and ‘damaged this and damaged that'") have in common - as the NewAge media insists there's a definite relationship - on Spiked!.

The Cult Of Obama: Comfortably Dumb

"I really don’t see how the Obama devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts."

-- Peter Hitchens, justifying this blog's position and purpose, in The Daily Mail.

There is only one way to break this spell - and break it I will - but breaking it requires that I need you, too, behind the direct action of:

Prince Charles Is A NewAge Scumbag

"She was the Australian who married a peer and became a prince's lover. But the affair broke her heart and unhinged her mind.

The name is largely forgotten. The big hair, the luscious lips, and the constant partying have so faded in memory that they might never have existed.

When Kanga Tryon - once a household name and a central figure in the life of the Prince of Wales - died almost three months after Princess Diana, in 1997, she was quickly forgotten.

Nobody ever quite understood how she fitted into the royal jigsaw.

For most people, the battle for Charles's heart was a straight playoff between two women - married Camilla, his one true love, and virginal Diana, a knee-jerk response to a nation baying for a royal bride.

But, for a time, Kanga was just as important to Charles as Camilla. Yet the story of how she came to love and lose her prince has never been fully told. Until now.

For the first time, a Channel 4 documentary reveals the extraordinary bed-hopping antics of the heir to the throne in the years leading up to his marriage to Diana.
High Society reveals how, for a period during the 1970s, when both women were married to friends of his, HRH bounced from the bed of Camilla to that of Lady Tryon, then back again.

While dithering over the very necessary duty of finding a suitable wife, Charles was happily having his cake and eating it.

For both women were his mistress. Both bore sons whose godfather he became. Both named them Charles (in Camilla's case, it was a second name). And, in the end, both hated the other with a loathing that bordered on the pathological.

Yet we only know about Camilla."

Birds Of A Feather (Flock Together) Part II

"You know who used to get a big kick out of Rielle? Princess Diana. Well, Di enjoyed the exploits of Alison Poole, the main character in Jay McInerney’s novel Story of My Life, who was based on Rielle."

-- Simon Scowl, in his latest hunting for info on the Hunter, for Deceiver.com

I believe it. As the photo shows (above) Princess Diana was quite the "party girl" behind the scenes, callously chasing numerous rich boyfriends (that she played against each other) while holding the same "peace and love" NewAge beliefs as Rielle; Diana had a circle of "nasty" believer friends, and, of course, numerous trashy affairs while married. In other words, Princess Diana was as big of a loopy, socially-destructive, hypocrite as Rielle - and it was what they "believed" that made them that way.

It's really (Rielle?) too bad Diana didn't live:

She and John Edwards's mistress would've made the perfect running buddies.

The Grisly Cult (That Nobody Found Strange)

Could the grisly cult that surrounds the late Diana, Princess of Wales, finally be on the wane? Certainly there appears to be a dropping off of interest in the "Queen of Hearts" down at Althorp, her childhood home in Northamptonshire where her brother, Earl Spencer, has created a museum in her honour.

The Chronicles Of Narcissism

"Charles attracts women by displaying a certain vulnerability - something of a little boy lost. It's real, not phoney. But he gets bored with a woman the moment he realises he has total control over her. It is not a pretty characteristic, but there it is. I'm sure it goes back to his childhood when his mother ran off with another man. He loves the chase of women, and seducing them, but he can be ruthless with them."

-- One of the "oldest friends" of Charles Spencer, the twice-divorced brother of Princess Diana, who gave us that ugly NewAge act of being so torn up over NewAge Diana's treatment by NewAge Prince Charles, in the Daily Mail

"I doubt if Charles will ever fall completely in love with any girl. The only person he really loves is himself."
