I Know: Comedy's Not Pretty (But This Is Ridiculous,...)

Ayn Rand Private Access Show from Michaela Watkins

I found this amusing - not funny exactly, but worth a watch. It made me think, in the end, Rand's atheism may be the only part of her philosophy to survive her. That and her stand against racism. She was waaay ahead of her time there - though, in both regards, America is/was pretty backwards, so it might kinda pan out.

Even if you sorta know, this video should make you wonder what Paul Ryan thought he was up to, as he was attempting to indoctrinate his office staff through forcing them to read Atlas Shrugged. (This was before he was eventually cornered and then decided to lie and deny everything. As you all know, lies and public displays of denial always win me over.) I just think Mr. P90X (!) ain't very deep, because - let's face it - some people can't resist searching for someone or something to follow or join, the poor things.

But, still, Rand was a cultist, so WTF? (What kind of atheist turns messianic? In 2008, that was one of the clear signs that Obama was a NewAger,...) Even in this hysteria-fueled wasteland, didn't Ryan ever notice there was something very-wrong with this picture?

If you ask me, that guy holding up the Earth should've done us all a favor and beat Rand to death with it. If that thought upsets you, please, don't bother writing me about it - I've read her, too:

She would've approved - and, most likely, probably liked it.

Oh, the horror! Watching this was like sitting through one of Glenn Reynolds' "important" Plan 9 From Outer Space interviews - just overwhelmingly tragic:

I couldn't stop staring at this guy's forehead!

Whether from the front or the side, and no matter what he's talking about - dumping on Romney in as smug a fashion as a liberal can get - it's all pretty useless, coming from below that mesmerizing, hypnotizing, zombifying orb that spins above his eyes. (It does spin, doesn't it?) That thing's HUGE. Which brings up a question:

Don't these Zombie Apocalypse-obsessed mutants have friends to warn them away from getting in front of a camera?

If somebody was smart (I know - big "if") this video would be marketed to breast-implant clinics - as a silent film - so prospective clients know what to shoot for. Or it could be used as target practice, for when the Zombie Apocalypse really does arrive, or some poor woman is contemplating her escape from Beta-Male Mediocrity Hell. Since it's influence is so vast - like this guy's bald spot - she won't even have to learn anything about aiming:

Just working up the courage to fire will be enough.

Now, here's an example of comedy - and true knowledge - presented so that, whatever the rest of these losers do, you can't be led astray and convinced to start mistaking the two. Never forget:

We proper "intellectuals" have always got standards,...

My Take: We're Being Driven To The Point Of Madness

It's funny, all the effort the West makes to "nudge" us away from things that are normal - smoking, for instance - while they make none what-so-ever towards eliminating superstition, so that stories like this aren't common:
'Evil' Nigerian people smuggler used witchcraft to terrify girls into sex slavery."

Alright, it's not funny - it's weird. (No belief in witchcraft, no problem, right? Seems simple enough.) But even weirder is how the only portion of society anyone seems even a *little* concerned about protecting from such nonsense is gays. Why? What about the rest of us? What makes it O.K. to bombard us with bullshit? Are we not deviant enough? Or - speaking as a black American who, I hear, everyone's been so concerned about - has the United Negro College Fund's slogan "A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste" now been put out to pasture, in favor of hysteria over someone's new kid on the block?

And is my country, America, the engine of The Enlightenment, really "The New World" (as the rest of the planet thinks it is) when - in the year 2012 - we have grown men asking "Should we thank Satan for being here?" while others bring up God in political debates, and preachers act as overseers to our elections? Why are there horoscopes in our newspapers? People getting away with claiming to talk to the dead on our television screens? Hit movies about reincarnation? Why do I have to read "Young exorcists conquer demons" when I know there are no demons? And why isn't anyone else saying to, finally, cut it out?

I'm almost sorry to say it - because I know it's not all of them - but I think I know,…

Why It's O.K. To Frown Now

See, as soon as I could tell these NewAgers were using "creative visualization," or meditation, or hypnosis - and jabbering on about "fear" like they're Ann Althouse and Meade - I was pretty happy knowing bad things were about to happen to them. Full disclosure:

I' was compelled to write "I was content with it," so I could appear as what the freakshow calls "normal," but no, seeing the witch's brew in their minds - and knowing it was bringing about their impending doom - made me smile.

In a world these crazies have turned upside down, that's "normal"...

Thinking Of What We Haven't Had To Deal With: Nuts

Is it any wonder the Republicans can make peace with the Mormons when we've recently seen one Republican after another - each on the science committee - recently dining on fruitcake with Mitt Romney, the man who sought to prove he loves "basic science" by stating A) cold fusion is a way to "conduct electricity"B) cold fusion has been invented by his cult, and C) the only problem with the cult's obvious success in this endeavor is they just haven't been able to duplicate yet.

Forget the scientists who checked the Mormon's work and declared them "incompetent" and delusional," brainy types know being in a coven of idiotic fantasists can't be the problem. Why, I had one Althouse Hillbilly after another, lining up to remind me Romney can say such insane things because he "doesn't have a degree in physics," as apparently they don't either. Or any common sense. Or even a rudimentary understanding of that "basic science" they and Mitt love so much. Tell me:

Is there a degree for being able to immediately spot crazy talk?

If there is - man - my college career would've soared,...

There's a reason the Romneys only wanted us to see two years of their taxes, but even worse, they got away with it. Which can only mean one thing:

Christ Will Return To Siberia, The Mongols Are The Lost Tribe Of Africa, Lenin's On Kolob, And The Women Can Have Multiple Husbands, But No Vodka For Anybody

First, Pussy Riot, and now this. Look, it's not often I have anything nice to say about Russia's Vladimir Putin, but when he's right, he's right, and I'm glad to acknowledge it:
The Russian government should toughen its laws governing the activities of the totalitarian cults cropping up across the country, President Vladimir Putin said during a Thursday meeting in the southeastern region of Samara.
Totalitarian religious groups pose a threat to the society and people, he said: “It’s a hunt not only for souls, but also people’s property.”
One of the participants at the meeting called on Putin to step up pressure on these sects. They also suggested creating a database of such groups, which would be made available to regional education ministries and schools.
Jesus. Not only do I have to deal with the indignity of cults running loose in this madhouse, but now I also have to watch Russia outshine us in the most important social struggle of our time. Unbelievable. Oh well, I must look at the upside:

Russian kids will never discover they hate their parents for feeding them some woo about why they had to have a crackpot Mormon for president.

That kind of wonderful "reality" is only created here.

I Know All, I See All - Hell, I Practically Make Shit Happen

Remember that story a while back, about a woman on her way to an AA meeting, who hit a kid before crashing her car into a church? I had this to say about it at the time:
The only thing that could've made this story "better" is if the cross had fallen off the church's steeple and speared the kid through the heart,..

So the fine folks at Hot Air don't believe an AP study that found an unconscious racism in America. And this is despite the fact they have spouted off, long and hard, about the travails of black conservatives when faced with liberals. Hmmm.

And on the flip side is the immediate rise of Mia Love - how'd that happen? A little conservative Affirmative-Action, maybe? Along with her immigrant story, she's done what - exactly - to afford her the prominent place she's got with the party? I'll wait.

No, Mia's good fortune couldn't be race-based, because we all know she's been struggling in the trenches, while regularly introducing one brilliant political idea after another, right? Right? Riiight. I'll wait to see those, too.

Long story-short, it seems to me Hot Air is guilty of seeing what they want to see - but only when and how they want to see it. Not surprising for a partisan hack site, led by a nut job. BTW - has anybody found Michelle's sister yet? Maybe they ought to check that Scientology concentration camp, in California, everyone seems so intent on ignoring. You never know.

So nope, sorry Guys, but - despite your denials - racial paradise hasn't been achieved yet. Hell, I couldn't even get the Hillbillies at Althouse to shut about it, and the Tea Party is always confessing they don't know what to do, so I don't hold out much hope you ninnies have escaped:

You're all a bit sick in the head.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm getting back to composing some "nigger work songs" for all you "open-minded" types to deny you enjoy. You know how they go:

"Camptown Ladies, sing this song, doo-dah, doo-dah,…"

Let's Be Clear, Ladies: I'm The Only One Who Does The Crazy Ranting Around Here (Insuring No Jews Get Hurt)

Let's start with a quote from crazy Camille Paglia, and assess the accuracy of what Ann Althouse says is "a fine rant":
I was very excited about [Obama]. I thought he was a moderate. I thought that his election would promote racial healing in the country.

“My good blog friend The Crack Emcee at The Macho Response rants
but that's his style and he's good at it."

 --Panda Bear, M.D.

Humpf! With an M.D. after his name or no M.D., nobody ever assumed I'd promote "healing" of any kind - I ain't the "healing" type. (Paglia's currently selling the idea that George Lucas and Madonna are The Greatest Artists Of Our Time - Whoo Boy, Howdy! There is no life left in us! Medic! We are GONE!) Anyway, Althouse is next, commenting on Paglia's supposedly "fine rant":
This is how I felt, when I voted for Obama in 2008. Except I wouldn't say I was "very excited." I wasn't caught up in the ecstasy. I thought it was the better bet,,...

I'm so surprised. Let's look at that "better bet" rationally, shall we?

War hero, long-serving United States Senator, etc., who leans on his own Republican Party's excesses
Vs.
Nobody

Yeah, we lost that bet - but neither of these female professors has taken any blame for the further ruination of the country. That would be too direct, too blunt, too real. (You ever tried hitting on one of those types of women?) Reality ain't the problem, it's their need for self-delusion.

When NewAgers are dissatisfied with themselves, they escape whoever shows how dumb they are, not to learn but basically to do more damage.

It's the essence of NewAge. Especially for feminists. Everything's expendable, and self-criticism is utterly worthless. Crazy is empowering. Reality can't hold a candle to the political strategy of seeing what you want to believe and acting on it.

I have mentioned feminism is NewAge, haven't I? Or does anyone think all this "Gaia" and "Goddess" talk just popped out of nowhere? Please. These are female dreams of "ancient teachings":

In their minds, this is a woman-ruled planet, lorded over by "Mother Nature," and men are their lowly pawns, to be moved around at will, replacing one "better bet" for another. Men are not actual people, or the people who actually built this place, but stepping-stones to female success, lucky to carry their weight.

And since this balkanized bitch-fest has taken hold in the West, things have slid downhill. But not to worry - it's her hill. No "real" men allowed - just their boyfriends.

And before I forget, let's note Ann Althouse "wasn't caught up in the ecstasy" of 2008 (nor, presumably, was Camille) or that it wasn't "ecstasy" but cultish political hysteria, or that - whatever you want to call it - women didn't let such odd behavior deter them from voting like those "caught up" in it. Because that's critical thinking for you:

You see the madness, right in front of your eyes, but you go along with it anyway - all the while claiming you've made a "rational choice."

At least that's the way it's playing out nowadays. Here's the title of another recent post that finds Ann mocking the obvious:
"The Emptiest Candidate in Presidential Election History: Mitt Romney truly believes in nothing."

On this one Ann begins with the words "They've got nothing on him." A personal assessment no doubt, written because she's never heard the term "Flip-Flopper," or would ever print anything "they" do have on him. Take Romney biographer Ronald B. Scott:
"As president of the Boston stake, Romney owed church leaders a consultation before doing anything that might cause them trouble. In October or November 1993, he went to Salt Lake City to meet with them and explain the abortion position he was going to take. He told them he would say that he opposed abortion personally but that such private beliefs shouldn't be imposed on others. If he didn't frame his position as pro-choice, he'd lose. Many of the church leaders were unhappy with Romney's formulation. But if they wanted him in the Senate, this was the best they were going to get."

Romney's a bought-and-sold member of a spiritual cult of political shape-shifters, but not a word from Ann concerning their ambitions ("they wanted him in the Senate"). Instead, now that so many want Romney in the White House - just like in 2008 - we're back to pretending "They've got nothing" on someone else. They're all clean, until they get elected, it seems.

Here's another of Glenn Reynolds' glorious fellow nut jobs, Michelle Malkin, this time mocking a member of Glenn Reynolds' "Four Horsemen" configuration:
"Mormon-basher Andrew Sullivan: ‘Romney belonged to white supremacist church’"

Is this even in question? Or that the LDS was a "white supremacist church" while Romney was an adult? Was Sullivan Mormon-bashing or stating fact? It's as much of the former as Malkin's claim that "real reporter" Juan Williams used "misogynist rhetoric," when saying Ann Romney's story of youthful poverty was "phony." A claim that was since been borne out.

They're so cute when they're angry.

What I noticed, in both cases, is there's never been a statement of wrong-doing by Malkin, nor any retraction of her slanderous claims, nor even so much as a word of apology. Not only has one not been offered, but it doesn't have to be made in a society (if I must call this unethical collective a society) where none is expected. This is the world they've created - but expect to be loved for.

Why Does Everyone Hate Women?

Post-feminism? Really? Come on. You're kidding me, right?

Let's move to Peggy Noonan - she's got another whopper in the hopper. This time it's "When Americans Saw the Real Obama." I would've thought, since Noonan was an enthusiastic Obama supporter four years ago (like Althouse and Paglia) she'd wonder aloud about why and/or how she missed what's been right under her nose the whole time. No such luck. There's not a single "Come To Jesus" moment in her entire piece. Nope, she's still Brilliantly Observant Peggy, who just happened to let this "strangely clueless" man run an elaborate ruse past her - by being exactly the same person he's always been.

Sound familiar?

Even after reading Obama's book, saying he lets people see what they want in him, self-delusion isn't a part of Noonan's (or Althouse's or Paglia's or Malkin's) formulation of what's been happening with them. Few seem capable of considering it. This level of rationalization's a real skill. I've seen it before - displayed by many others who've all appreciated a good scream, mixed with a dose of mass insanity, now and then. NewAge marches on, but it never changes.
Guy Liddell diaries: Hitler's rant on how he was deceived by 'everyone' during his last days in Berlin bunker.

Ha! I shouldn't be too hard on poor Peggy - everyone's scared - and, as we've seen, far from alone.

What's the only "Final Solution" now?

To keep making as much fucking sense as everybody else,...

It's You Or Me (We're Down To Pure Self-Preservation,...)

In case you're thinking that I'm not blogging very much lately, you're right, and there's two reasons:

1) I'm having a ball working on my new album.

2) This is an "I Don't Care" election, so there's no point in my trying to engage anyone.

The Evil Blogger Lady has posted a great video that features cult leader J.Z. Knight, and it ends with Knight saying:

"I worked really hard so we can have a bad reputation. You know why? So we can do anything out here and nobody cares."

When it comes to cults, politics, and the public, I couldn't have put it better myself. Check it out:

With people being so stupid, I can barely keep typing. I can barely keep breathing. It's all so wrong.

For instance, I like The Evil Blogger Lady - smart cow - but look at even the logic he/she is using:

Swearing in politics - and during an election season - is bad.

Forget the people JZ Knight has deceived, rippid-off and killed, forget the mass produced "What The Bleep" indoctrination films that drew the suckers into Knight's cult like crazy (literally) forget all that - BAD LANGUAGE is EBL's line in the sand. And you should know that ol' Ramtha's a Democrat who crossed it, because this is an election year, you see. This terrible swearing is happening NOW, while all that other *less important stuff* - the murders, con jobs, brainwashing, lying - that's been happening over multiple decades, right under EBL's nose, during boring times, and influencing no one's vote, so have been deemed unworthy of EBL's mention or action. Or Ann Althouse's, or Glenn Reynolds', or anybody else's really.

Sure, Knight and Romney are both in cults, but "pish-posh" to all that. J.Z. Knight's in the wrong one - there's video evidence her cult swears and openly thinks bad thoughts. Romney's cult doesn't swear, so video evidence THEY WANT TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD is irrelevant and not worth mentioning. They're "nice." I've told you:

This moral mind field of a mindfuck is exactly how the NewAge "works":

GDFKXHGH!

 I'm sorry - forgive me:

That wasn't cussing, but me losing control and hitting my head on the keyboard again.

FUCK! <--THAT was cussing

I'm going back to creating my album,...
