The New Landscape Of Honesty (Is Mahered)

NSC spokesperson John Kirby (and others who still wrongly-assert there's a MAGA cult) has said not to take at face value anything Vladimir Putin said to Tucker Carlson. The problem is, some of what Putin said made sense, while almost everything John Kirby stumbles through sounds, not just dishonest, but also challenges the eyes. Remember his claim that South Africa's clearly-airtight case against the Zionists was "meritless," the day before the International Court of Justice slammed the Zionists as plausibly committing genocide? Come on.

While taking down Oprah, Tyler Perry, and Kevin Hart, Mo'Nique declared 2024 the year of the Truth Tellers, begun when Kat Williams paid a January visit to Club Shay-Shay. Maybe Putin's a part of that. It would be damn good news, because Truth Telling is all that TMR's been about. Though few have been ready to hear it. Today, Netflix viewers may be left disturbed after watching a shocking new docuseries on a controversial cult, featuring sex slaves, cloned babies & naked alien worship… inside a ‘UFO cult’ led by a prophet named Raël who ‘bedded thousands of women’, but TMR is bored with it all because this blog was dealing with the Raëlian cult all the way back in 2008 and - like knowing about Harvey Weinstein before #MeToo - back then, hardly anyone cared. It was trouble to even mention it. I was ostracized for never dropping it. TMR was also talking about OneTaste back in the day - also now featured on Netflix and also now indicted by the FBI - can you imagine, how much mayhem could've been avoided, for me and others, if Truth Telling had been respected, back then?

The Blackest Of Black Comedies (Is A White Production)

"Don't worry, Miss - we're only looking at your meta data!"

Hearing conservative whites say "no" to reparations, with defiant certainty, as they cheer Rand Paul's digressions - on fears over privacy issues - can be wickedly amusing.

The culture that would do these things to us is clearly better than our own.

Hearing conservative whites say "no" to reparations, with defiant certainty, as they cheer Paul Ryan's digressions - on the results of a "bad" culture - this can tickle, too.

This non-violence stuff will kill you!

Hearing conservative whites say "no"  to reparations, with defiant certainty, as they cheer Lindsey Graham's digressions - on how we all must fight the evils of terrorism - some can giggle about it.

Early white gentrification efforts in black American towns.

But hearing conservative whites say "no" to reparations, with defiant certainty, as they cheer George Will's digressions - on Putin's theft occurring in Ukraine - now that takes a real sense of humor.

Choice - Who's Smarter: Sarah Palin Or Thomas Sowell?

Sarah thinks Ted Cruz is Syria and worth defending:
"Sarah Palin is actually right about something.
...Former Governor [Sarah] Palin (R-AK) tweeted, on Sunday, that [Chris] Wallace ought to reveal which sources had sent him the dirt on [Ted] Cruz. She tweeted “@FoxNewsSunday Keep it TRULY fair & balanced. Release the GOP names encouraging you to trash @SenTedCruz. No more anonymous sources.”

Thomas Sowell sees Ted Cruz as the Republican's Vladimir Putin:
"What could possibly rescue Barack Obama from all these political problems and create a distraction that takes all his scandals off the front page? Only one thing: the Republicans.
By making a futile and foredoomed attempt to defund Obamacare, Congressional Republicans have created the distraction that Obama so much needs. Already media attention has shifted to the possibility of a government shutdown.
Politically, it doesn’t matter that the Republicans are not really trying to shut down the government. What matters is that this distraction solves Barack Obama’s political problems that he could not possibly have solved by himself.
The time, effort, and credibility that Republicans are investing in trying to defund Obamacare is a high-risk, low-yield investment."

So who's right for the Right? You know my views:

I'm leaving this one for you,...

Mitt Romney Ain't The Only Politician Who Said The Left Were Tripping (Rick Was Always Holding Your Baggage)

I love the stunning defense this "reporter" offers.

Hasn't it occurred to anyone else that what just happened, between Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin, was exactly what conservatives predicted from the beginning, in one form or another? That we were going to lose under this man? Remember back when it was Obama declaring we were not exceptional?

Then why are we surprised?

The hippies said, by way of them, the American Empire will fall - they got their fall guy. Happy now?

Never Forget Why We Don't Like Communists: They Lie

“It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord’s blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.”
- Vladimir Putin

Uh, yeah, right.

Boy howdy,...

Ladies And Gentlemen - The American Vladimir Putin

Having a black girl serving his coffee is enough to raise questions in some quarters, but I'm more concerned he's not much of a planner:

Taking a cup of coffee with you into the water?

And what is it about politicians doing surreal ads by large bodies of water?

I stared back at this motherfucker for days,....

Slavery: I Put A Spell On You - Because You're MIIIINE!

As the old saying goes, You have questions - We have answers:
"I think you're great, but throwing the bullshit flag on this one. WTF does slavery have to do with a half-white, half-African dude, who grew up in Hawaii, and went to exclusive private schools for his entire life, whatever his melanin? Maybe slavery in Mauritanian has an impact on his story, but this is one cat who never caught a whiff of Jim Crow. Fuck! I'm more black than that guy, and I'm Irish clear."

I think you're great, too but, as rude as it is, let me begin by answering your question with a question:

Why was it so important to this country (and other blacks, especially) that we have a "first black" president?

Because we all understood the history of our home. Hell, I wanted nothing to do with Barack Obama, but even I knew the score. (Rather than the sweep of history unfolding, the Obama cult was going to "make" it in an Easy Bake Oven, and anybody who didn't like it was going to have to eat it.) And all because of a past we're trying hard to ignore.

Even me. I went for years without writing about race as I am now. And I was praised for it by the same people who, later, still pushed me into doing it. Forced to choose. But it's like the conservative take on Obama and Syria - I know it's mostly bullshit, but they're making it real. A self-fulfilling prophecy.

I don't like it, but I've accepted it. Cognitive dissonance, here I come! Conservatives have demanded it. Even Thomas Sowell would do the same thing, I'm sure. Especially in my current situation. You want to be in the streets and have a problem with black history? Good luck.

And what says a half-African dude, raised by a half-crazy white American leftist, is somehow going to miss out on The Black American Experience that, even I say, trails from Africa and the beginning of time to right here-and-now? I mean, tell me if I missed something, but isn't the fact of Obama's bizarre heritage (African/American, white/black, seller/buyer, subject/object) part of the hope he supposedly embodied - that a person, infused with some of the details that produced our troubles, could possibly end them?

I said from the beginning he was the wrong guy, and knew I was right when he started repeatedly flipping the bird to whites on the campaign trail, making it obvious - and making it obvious the media was white and liberal and timid. Even conservatives were cowed. Afraid to show outrage. All because of a past that shall not be named.

Guys, even trying to escape the subject of slavery still means it has a hold on us. People without it, in their past or present, don't have to do that. They're observers, not another weirdly-spotted family member, showing up at the door with something to discuss. Like who's "Dad"?

I personally find it maddening, because it's like we've been cursed. Being a young country (something we don't consider a lot as we bellow) we're close to the past, almost without knowing it. 500 years ago is yesterday in Europe, but it's generally outside of the entirety of America's scope. Unless you include indigenous people as having history. And the blacks I know certainly think of themselves as indigenous. As having history. Somebody just took an eraser to part of it on the blackboard.

The rest of it - as even Martin Luther King explained - is about us kids finding our way. There's just one little problem, and only I take it seriously. There's this little thing called the NewAge, and in it - unless they have a gun to their heads - they no likey leaders so much.
"Most of the people who graduated in the 60's, dropouts or half-baked intellectuals, are now occupying the positions of power in the government, civil service, business, mass media, and educational systems. You are stuck with them. You can't get through to them. They are contaminated. They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern. You can not change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you still can not change the basic perception and the logic of behavior.
The demoralization process in the United States is basically completed already for the last 25 years,...Most of it is done by Americans to Americans thanks to lack of moral standards,...exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him, even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents and pictures. ...he will refuse to believe it.... That's the tragedy of the situation of demoralization."

And you can bet, Putin - the KGB agent - knows what he's working with,...

Sounds Like Somebody's Going To Have To Get Serious

I'm still down. Not really fighting today, just getting through it. But, in my dark mood, I am enjoying the show:
The man known as President Obama left the building after his Syria speech. What’s left in the White House is Barry Soetoro or whatever he goes by now: a shrunken, confused husk surrounded by court jesters, second-rate ideologues, and sycophants. And while it may be tempting to gloat at his reversal of fortune, the truth is that the collapse of the presidency represents the most dangerous moment in America since the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Olympus has fallen. America’s leadership is functionally impaired in the face of a thrusting, fast-moving, and possibly brilliant opponent. Of course, the fact that Putin was up against a broken reed made it easier for him. Yet however one may admire Putin’s skills, it must be an admiration tempered by fear, of the kind felt by the British 8th Army in the face of Rommel, of the sort with which Gamelin regarded Guderian. Nothing can disguise the fact that Putin is the enemy and America is less-than-competently led in its contest against him. Something must be done to stem the tide. But what?

"Less than competently led"?  And this is a new phenomena you say? Interesting. "Court jesters, second rate ideologues, and sycophants"?

You're missing Mitt Romney again, aren't you?

I don't understand what's happening, that's my "problem". I was sure our nation's highest concerns were always recycling, gay marriage, American Idol, and "fun". Anyone who didn't think so was an asshole. I heard it said at the alternative medicine store and it's really popular. Like a celebrity. That's how we judge things, you know:

By how popular they are,...
