Losing Respect For Unreal People Isn't Easy In Cartoons

The plot to last night's South Park, "World War Zimmerman":

Cartman = Cody Jarrett:

Here's the link to the entire episode if you want to watch,...

  1. Is this the statement you lambasted Cody Jarrett on:

    Here's the thing, Crackers:
I don't go looking for people to hurt or kill.

I've never hurt or killed someone just because they were a certain color or gender or orientation.

I never would and never will.

On the other hand, there are many documented cases of black youths attacking and killing white people simply because they're white.

Defending yourself (or another) against such an attack isn't racist or evil or even wrong.

That you'd try to spin it otherwise tells us a great deal about your soul.

If you are going to accuse a person of something like this, at least quote them and provide a link.

  2. That's a good point that Evi made.

You are lying dude. Spinning it for your our purposes of self serving victimization.

    Give it up already.

  3. Evi, that's not it, and I want you to notice how, upon finding that quote, you've gone right to assuming I'm so petty it could rile me. Look at that thing - it doesn't have a word of red meat in it - why would you jump to me flipping out? Because my name was on it? YOU are not a top detective.

Evi, that's Cody talking to me - not me listening to Cody.

How long have we known each other online? Have I really struck you as unstable? The way you and I talk? Why are we friends? What did I do to you?

You're really taking some leaps - and some liberties.

Good thing I know YOU enough, at least, to see a mistake when it happens.

BTW - I'm assuming you're white, so your "punishment" for this ugly transgression - on what I thought was a pretty good interracial-and-interspecies relationship - will be having to dwell, for the rest of your cud-chewing days, on just how fucking cool the crazy, scary, whatever black man was about all this.

    And consider a donation.

    Really - this is bad.

  4. I recognize there was more in your exchange than that one post. But if you are going to call a guy a racist, at least quote what he actually said and have the link. If the comment is deleted and you do not have it screen saved, then state that. But if the guy deletes a comment and follows up with a statement like that, I sure wouldn't be calling him a racist at various places without citing to the what he actually said. I have still not seen it.

And I fully recognize nonsense you have had to put up with in the past with people paraphrasing and quoting you out of context and without links back.

That is what I am saying. I recognize shit is bad for you. As for color, I am orange, like Boehner (except I have more hair).

  5. This is how I met the man you're so concerned about. He's toying with it:

    "They're feral.

Is it rayciss to notice that?

A few more of this type get their asses shot the fuck off eventually they'll get the message."

"I've never watched an episode of SVU. I think I want to watch one--(I think it's SVU) because Roy Scheider plays a serial killer and I'd like to see that,..."

"I kinda wish I lived in an area where there was a chance of that revenge for Trayvon shit happening.

I carry a .45 loaded with bullets possessing a ferocious nasal configuration and I'd be downright thrilled to score a little justice for Delbert Belton, aka Shorty. "

And here's my totally over-the-top reaction to Psycho Boy:

    "Cody,

You need to get a grip.

Every word I've ever read out of you is unAmerican,..."

He denies it, there are the links - who do you believe?

    A few extra thoughts:

I've done nothing to raise to this doubt in me. I told you - I've been aping my surroundings. Not a pretty picture is it?

This is the forth interrogation of my integrity I've endured for my online "friends" this week. (You have seen me repeatedly bringing up my talk with Freeman?) As the only black in our circle, I ask you again - is this how your life goes? Always under suspicion? Twisted into a liar? Berated to give up your most personal beliefs? Not allowed to speak your mind and have it taken seriously? Everybody pissed at you, and blaming you for it, when they're the prime movers?

And then there's Lem's. It's gotten weird over there. I don't know what you guys are seeing in it but for me it's a war zone.

Lastly, I don't mind being brushed off - especially by people determined not to let me like them - but for friends you guys do that shit waaay to easily for comfort. If you're trying to counter the idea, that I'm not as fully an appreciated human being as you guys are, you're doing a really shitty job of it.

I'd never let anyone treat you guys this way - it would be impossible.

You guys have turned it - and the hunting of me - into a sport.

  6. And once it became apparent that you were insisting on taking everything to the craziest degree, I clarified, in the hopes you'd be able to understand. I was wrong, of course.

Curious: what's your big deal about me saying I wanted to see Roy Scheider playing a serial killer? I've always liked him as an actor, and several friends have told me he was excellent in the role.

Or are you trying to say something else?

Crackers, I deny saying I want to shoot and/or kill black children. By the time you were done twisting my words around you had me drooling in anticipation like a big dog looking at a hot dog.

And that's flatly a lie. Even with the quotes.

Defend myself and others? Yes. Murder innocent kids (or adults) of any color? Nope. Not my thing.

But really--thanks for shitting on me over and over. I'm really happy I thought we might be able to be some kind of friend. And I'm really sorry I bothered to try and help you out by sending you the spare cash I had for the week.

Talk about making me feel like a fool--that you did pretty well, props for that.

Oh--and did you read the part Evi said about people paraphrasing things you've said and so forth?

You hate it so much you have to do it to other people, huh?

You bitch about people brushing you off, but what the fuck did I do to you? Send you some emails? Try to have a conversation? Try to help you out when you really need it? If you don't want people to brush you off, why don't you try not acting like a completely unlikeable cunt.

    Because I did try.

  7. I'd also like to know, since I paid for my time already--why didn't you go after any of the other people who said similar (or worse) things.

I'm thinking of DBQ in particular.

Is it because you're scared of white women you know won't put up with your racist, sexist bullshit?

    I bet it is.

  8. Ok, from what I've been seeing here as of late (and what the hell? I might as well throw my two cents in):

The Martin/Zimmerman thing got blown way out of hand -- and "conservatives" fell for it, and in exactly the fashion to blow it out of hand. Seriously, a lot of people made a punk ass kid out to be King Kong, terrorizing a city near you, and a lot of people made George Zimmerman, a person who has a very loose grip on reality in the first place imhao, into Mr. Incredible, here to save the day.
And it's fallen apart, because it wasn't reality -- but rather than say "damn, did I get played, my bad" it turned into a freaking carnival of who can be more of the group than the others by making some, let's be honest, pretty nasty comments that were pretty blanket in nature (or certainly could be construed as such).
So folks got treated to the same thing, a little "shoe's on the other foot", and it made people pissed -- because blanket accusations which have no consideration for what's going on, especially that race hustling works on everybody, and there has been some hustling going on, and it has not disappointed, unfortunately.
Well, rather than keep up with this vicious cycle, maybe it's time to realize that there are always shades of grey to shit and you may not have the entire story, so don't run off making up more stories that may be founded in a lie; and cool it with the reactionary, nasty crap; at the very least learn how to fight (aka. don't jump on every provocation that comes your way, like you have been doing, because you will make mistakes and mistakes will get you beaten every time) -- everyone will be better off for it.

And you know, maybe go back and realize you might have been wrong to jump on all this race crap, and being so blase (hell, excited) at the death of somebody -- death isn't something to get jollies over, so don't act like it.

  9. Zimmerman and Martin was a situation that got out of hand. A bunch of misunderstandings (probably) that ended in a teenager trying to kick some guys ass and ending up getting shot. Tragic and stupid, but it was not murder.

  10. I have no idea what Meade is talking about. Maybe he can go back to molesting dogs or whatever he is into now.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Why many conservatives went for Zimmerman was due to the double whammy of the media and Democrats dogpiling him as a way of attacking second amendment rights.

That and the fact he certainly shouldn't have been charged with second degree murder.

    ReplyDelete
  12. So...Democrats were dogpiling him, and rather than call out the dogpiling and say "it was a bad thing, but let's not jump to conclusions, let's let the truth come out in a court of law", some conservatives had to go and start dogpiling in the opposite direction?

How do two wrongs make a right?

And by the way: this isn't about the murder charge (although it could be argued that while not guilty of murder in the legal sense, George was guilty of acting stupidly which led to him killing somebody when that really didn't have to go down that way, and it's too bad that it did -- yeah, Martin was guilty of the same thing, but that does not exonerate George in total); rather it's about jumping on the racism bandwagon and going off the deep end...which led to even bigger messes.

What part of that is so hard to accept?

*and I think Mr. Althouse is merely wanting to stir the shit for his own enjoyment; that's just a hunch, could be wrong, but that is what it appears to be

  13. Zimmerman is no hero and Trayvon Martin no saint. And while Zimmerman got put through some shit via the State of Florida, I would take that over what Martin and his family got.

I do not take pleasure in some kid getting shot. Even if he had some culpability (which I think he did, because I think he is the one who directed violence to Zimmerman first)--the results did not fit the circumstances.

And of course in America black kids are shot mostly by other black kids. Because the vast bulk of violence in the black community is black on black.
