In fairness it was apparently over calling some woman a Jewish American Princess and telling her to "shut up".
So, it could be more of a dude/chick related thing with a side order of (can that really be called anti-semitism?) not nice or civil language. He probably should have stuck with just "shut up" (family members actually served with the guy -- say he was a pretty good soldier, from a soldier pov, but that often doesn't translate well into civilian life).
But yeah, seems like everything the Tea Party touches as of late turns to crap.
Mr. Jarrett, Allen West doesn't quite fit into the category of "conservative black man" so much as the category of "former soldier" -- he was not a good fit in the former, as he is rather limited in his appeal (soldiers and former soldiers are his "group", and that because of what he once was). Imhao, he should have stayed out of politics; it has altogether ruined him in many ways. It is a hard thing, but there it is -- he was never cut out for it, and has been turned into a shadow of his former self, which isn't very pleasant to think about for me and quite a few members of my family (we share a lot of connections to each other after all).
What this says about the need for considering people outside of just one category and what happens when people demand that they aren't, is a lengthy discussion...again, imhao.

You'd think a self professed conservative black man would want to help another, self made conservative black man.
ReplyDeleteAt least Crackers hasn't put a pubic hair on West's Pepsi can. Yet.
