Blacks Suffer While Whites Make Up Their Minds On It II

Police know their history as slave catchers - it's their supporters who are in denial

So yesterday, after writing "Blacks Suffer While Whites Make Up Their Minds On It," I floated around several topics animating this racist society (you'd have to click the links to "get" the post) because, let's face it - until whites decide what's important IS important - there's nothing else, besides "floating," for most blacks to do. (I'm not Ta-Nehisi Coates or Jamelle Bouie with a platform, but a single, incisive, and aggrieved black with an unread blog - a truth for which white folks ARE responsible and should probably be eternally grateful,....) But some whites DO have eyes to see. Here's Civil rights historian Jason Sokol on racism's difference in the North and the South:

The police want an apology for blacks caring about our lives

It's all the same "in the end". Now, as a black person trying to live my life while facing these people, what am I supposed to do? Assure them they're O.K. as they screw me over - still? Shit - they KNOW what they're doing - they just don't want to face anyone black who will admit it to their complacent faces.

White people, living in their bubbles of enforced stupidity, care about what they care about. That's their perspective: they sit on our stolen goods and "decide" what they care about - because we can't thrust reality in their faces, like they force blacks to contend with it. So they "care" about the slaughter of kids - in fucking Pakistan - while black kids die, here, by their hands (since the police are their executioners) every day.

The evidence of white's true interests are everywhere

And it's all so obvious, it hurts. Here's the law professor, Ann Althouse, on Dick Cheney's appearance:

Blacks are playing no favorites - whites can't say that

What a lie - Meade's probably: there was NOTHING but desperation in Cheney's performance, of course, and TMR said so. Here’s Althouse today, quoting The Washington Post:

Whites have made their own North Korea

Because that’s how it’s done where whites are protected - they can be wrong and not wrong. Racists and not racists. History must have their “happy” ending. But how can American blacks make any head-way, while we’re alive and suffering, trying to reason with such insane people?

Avoiding crazy people, or shutting them down, are the only options we've got

I have to ask - again: is it any wonder Alzheimer’s is so prevalent in whites, considering how much effort they put into trying to uphold the imagery of purity over the racist reality, while making everyone else suffer for it around them?

Althouse: Punishing Truth Seekers (For Fun And Profit)

Some answers will only work for white folks

- Ann Althouse, admitting she's a liar, "for humorous or shocking effect" - that she'll ban you for, if you're shocked, and not humored

Mascara doesn't help

The biggest problem with liars is you can never know where they stand. This is a big reason I can't deal with many women: everything about them is a lie, starting with wearing make-up, which might as well be worn "for humorous or shocking effect" because - once you see their real faces - "shock" is a very real possibility.

Applied to blogging, it works

So is Ann a political moderate? Don't know - can't trust her to tell the truth. Remember "it's time to panic"? She was playing with us. Toying with us, for kicks. Or clicks. Her support for Scott Walker - who she quotes often? No idea. John Althouse Cohen's claims that gay marriage was like the black Civil Rights Movement? Who knows. Black people? Ha! Our troubles bow before politically expedient lies. And liars.

No one knows what any white person thinks

We was only playin'!

Ye Old Bait-and-Switch. Like South Carolina whites electing a black guy, who they know has no interest in black people, in order to prove whites are "colorblind" - which, as Tim Scott proves, they aren't. They just find the juiciest candidate and support him often deliberately out of context or with intent to misdirect for humorous or shocking effect. Poor black people. We won't be able to tell. Blacks to be played with. Or angered. Or whatever white people want to do with us. It's all in fun! If we're desperate for relief from whites, that's our problem. It's black's responsibility to figure out what to do - and do with them. They're not ashamed to operate that way.

The history of American racism - it was all just for some white lady's kicks

What country is this again? What's it stand for? Don't be bothered if you don't know. The confusion is deliberate. It's the key to it's success - and whites. Blacks can say we've faced 400 years of white oppression, and whites come back with that happened 400 years ago. White's integrity means nothing to most of them. It's up to blacks to figure out if individual whites are sincere about anything. Our desperation for allies is merely part of the game.

Two other civil rights giants - with a wine box

It's truly no wonder whites suffering Alzheimer's is so common. So much deception. So much time fooling themselves. While thinking they're fooling others. And then the charade of being surprised no one trusts them.

Whatever happens from misunderstanding, it was black's mistake, not white's

It's enough to drive anyone mad,...

Making Us Sick - For Nothing - Is "Natural" (Who Knew?)

…Led by discredited doctors and, incredibly, a former Playmate, the movement has frightened new parents with claptrap about autism, Alzheimer’s, aluminum, and formaldehyde. The movement that was once a fringe freak show has become a menace, with foot soldiers whose main weapon is their self-righteousness. For them, vaccinating their children is merely a consumer choice, like joining an organic food co-op or sending their kids to a Montessori school or drinking coconut water.

Thanks a lot, anti-vaccine parents. You took an ethical stand against big pharma and the autism your baby was not going to get anyway, and, by doing so, killed some babies and gave me, an otherwise healthy 31-year-old woman, the whooping cough in the year 2013. I understand your wanting to raise your own children as you see fit, science be damned, but you're selfishly jeopardizing more than your own children. Carry your baby around in a sling, feed her organic banana mash while you drink your ethical coffee, fine, but what gives you denialists the right to put my health at risk—to cause me to catch a debilitating, humiliating, and frightening cough that, two months after I finished my last course of antibiotics (how’s that for supporting big pharma?), still makes me convulse several times a day like some kind of tragic nineteenth-century heroine? Logging On To Lies Of Omission (From Near And Far,...)

So, when I returned from work, I saw this story and wondered, why aren't Glenn Reynolds, Ann Althouse, and Stacey McCain, etc., screaming "bigotry"? Seems right up their alley,...

I saw Glenn also agreed with a Walter Russell Mead screed about cultists who "believe utterly absurd things and are willing to act upon them," because Mead then went on to condemn "liberals who see theocracy behind every Mormon temple,..." As though only liberals are worried, Mormon beliefs would be welcome in any classroom not dedicated to Cargo Cult Science, and nobody's heard of the American theocracy in Utah or the various oaths Mormons, like Romney, have swore to - over those of this country.

The hypocrisy of Glenn Reynolds - the utter deceit this man dishes out to his readers - is galling.

Ann appears to be clobbering the NYT with this:
"By the standards of retailing, Apple offers above average pay — well above the minimum wage of $7.25 and better than the Gap, though slightly less than Lululemon, the yoga and athletic apparel chain, where sales staff earn about $12 an hour."
So what's the problem? What's the issue? Why is this a story?

While everyone - the writer Ann's criticizing, the NYT, and Ann - are leaving out that, to earn that $12 an hour at Lululemon, the poor saps have to go through "training" with The Landmark Forum cult.

That's a problem, ain't it? (Lululemon seems to think so.) That's an issue. That's a STORY.

My bad - no it's not. Like the Mormons, all the groups and individuals, linked here, deny they're cults or cult apologists. (Or even NewAgers.) So there's no need to comment further. Their word is enough.

EVERYBODY'S spreading "the truth."

Just not the whole truth and nothing but - and especially not the law professors.

By the way, it's just been discovered that Alzheimer’s is caused by stress. Which - considering what's going on in the blogosphere - leads naturally to an all-important question:

Is cognitive dissonance considered stressful?

Some People Really Know How To Live

"Elizabeth Clare Prophet, the spiritual leader of the Church Universal and Triumphant, which gained notoriety in the late 1980s for its followers' elaborate preparations for nuclear Armageddon, has died. She was 70.

Prophet suffered from advanced Alzheimer's disease or dementia for years, and was at her apartment when she died Thursday night, said legal guardian Murray Steinman. Steinman said he was not aware of any other complicating health issues.

'She just kind of wound down,' Steinman said.

Prophet led the Park County church that once boasted 50,000 members. In the late 1980s, church members amassed assault rifles and armored vehicles in preparation for a nuclear missile strike that Prophet predicted was on the way. The plan brought national notoriety and a federal investigation.

The church's beliefs combined icons from the world's major religions, mixing western philosophy and mysticism. Despite her disease, videos and writings of Prophet continued to dominate church teaching, transformed into a New Age publishing enterprise and spiritual university.

The church was still prepared for Armageddon in recent years, and kept a bomb shelter stocked for 750 people deep in a forest near Yellowstone National Park. Gone are the weapons amassed in the late 1980s that got church leaders into trouble with federal authorities.

The church declined in the 1990s, after a doomsday prediction never materialized and Prophet's charismatic presence faded, but lived on with a smaller group of adherents and workers."

Get Up You Lazy Bastards: You're Already Stupid

"Those who sleep for more than eight hours a day are twice as likely to develop Alzheimer's, research suggests.

The danger affects both those who enjoy regular lie-ins in the morning and those who take naps in the afternoon, a study found."

Couldn't Have Happened To A Nicer Guy

"Allen Klein, who once managed both the Rolling Stones and The Beatles,...died in New York on Saturday, aged 77, after battling Alzheimer's disease."

-- Ray Connolly, with news about one of music's true crazy men dying a true crazy man - RIP, you bastard - and may the 60s continue to die with you, in The Daily Mail.
