Putting The Cart Before The Horse (Is The Easy Way To Make A Life Harder)

Political partisanship appears to cause almost every major writer, who sees the world as I do, to forget or ignore (or maybe they were already oblivious to) Andrew Breitbart's admonition that politics lives downstream from culture. So - by putting the emphasis on the wrong people: politicians - they've pointed their readers in the wrong direction, in almost the exact same wrong way, to end up telling the exact same wrong story, over and over again:

Francis Wheen discovered - almost immediately - he blew his NewAge thesis by attaching Margaret Thatcher to it.

Christopher Locke revealed the weakness in his argument, through the Republican-to-hate of the moment, George W. Bush.

And Kurt Andersen of The New York Times (of course) spirals down the drain by being unable to resist the zeitgeist, and attaching Donald Trump to his, otherwise sound, theories.

They're all wrong, with TMR's point being - even if they weren't - we wouldn't have any of them without a NewAge MOVEMENT, and that puts the ball back in the court of an Oprah or Deepak or Shirley MacLaine or Arianna Huffington or Gary Lachman or any of the other frauds and cult leaders assisting The Democrat Party in distorting reality, and thus, the American way of life.

 

How Cults "Work" (They Blame Everything They're Guilty Of On Donald Trump)

 

In the '90s, the Democrat Party and the media were described as having cult-like qualities by the late Christopher Hitchens, then widely-acknowledged as one of the best minds in journalism (few reporters, today, are called that by anyone, so pay attention). He also described the Clinton's ability to make the Press shut-up and do as they're told. 

Has anything changed since then? Absolutely nothing. Has the Press decided to curb their enthusiasm for boot-licking Billary? No. If anything, the Democrats have burrowed deeper into the Clinton's pathological belief systems and behaviors. Their voters have demanded nothing different.

   

Also in the '90s, the Democrat Party and the media were despised for using "projection" by the late Andrew Breitbart, then widely-acknowledged as one of the best minds in journalism, after starting The Huffington Post. He also describes the left's ability to make the Press do as they're told. 

Has anything changed since then? Absolutely nothing. Has the left decided to curb their enthusiasm for projection? Not at all. If anything, the Democrats have burrowed deeper into the Clinton's pathological belief systems and behaviors (Her "vast rightwing conspiracy" after Bill went on his raping spree, for instance). Their voters have demanded nothing different.

   

 In the mid 2000s, Bill Clinton, let it slip at Davos that his cult leader, Ken Wilber, and his sinister Theory of Everything guides what they're doing to us, though Wilber operates with Marc Gafni - another rapist - associated with the scam occurring at Whole Foods.

Has anything changed since then? Absolutely nothing. Has the left decided to curb their enthusiasm for any of this? Not at all. If anything, the Democrats have burrowed deeper into the Clinton's pathological belief systems and behaviors (the NewAge Movement's cults are unending and the media - doing as they're told - doesn't care a bit). Their voters have demanded nothing different.

It's a proven fact that this sort of stuff goes right over the voter's heads.

 

America - And The World's - NewAge Nazi Reality Check (In Black And White)

Politics lives downstream from culture.

Yes, Andrew, but grasping reality is hard for most right now - I talk to people. Because of my adventures with a NewAge Nazi wife, it's just not that hard for me. Don't worry: I'll get it all down for prosperity.

How multiple wars, and "The X-Files", wound-up post-9/11 America, leading to the left's "Truther" movement (which started the whole "er"-thing). That was before Donald Trump's "Birther" claim about President Barack Obama proved - not something, equally as insane, like Donald Trump is a racist - but (danger upon danger) the whole nation had gotten sprung on conspiracy theories.

Especially Ta-Nehisi Coates.

The left engages in 'projection': They accuse you of doing what they're guilty of.

Yes, Andrew, all this, I, too, discovered just by talking to people: 

“This is their best chance to put a stake through Trump’s political future,” she said. “If they don’t take it, Trump is going to control this party for 10 years.” 

Under Trump’s influence, the GOP will become the party of the QAnon conspiracy theory-supporting Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.).  It’s “not just dangerous for the Republican Party,” she cautioned, but “an existential threat to the country to have one of the two major political parties controlled by people who are spreading conspiracy theories.” 

“And I’m not talking about Marjorie Taylor Greene,” Longwell clarified. “I’m talking about (House GOP Minority Leader) Kevin McCarthy and (Florida GOP Rep.) Matt Gaetz and so many others in Congress who voted to object to a free and fair election, who told voters that it was stolen from them, who followed Donald Trump and it led to a violent attack on the Capitol.”

Everyone is (obviously) compartmentalizing a lot these days, to forget "The Big Creep" was the American leader who unleashed the conspiracy-laden world of "Alternative Facts" on America, when he opened the "Office of Alternative Medicine" for the left's freaks (Like Sen. Tom Harkin) who didn't trust Science. When President Bill Clinton made no demand for facts or evidence - but only the promotion of all things NewAge and crazy - the world was, literally, off to the races. And, it's been off it's rocker, ever since.

That's how Steve Jobs lost his life: slow suicide. No one could talk him out of it. Bill Clinton certainly never tried.

It had all gotten so insane, no one - around the world - even registered it as madness, that Barack Obama campaigned for the Presidency of the United States with the queen of con artists, conspiracy theorists, quacks, and criminals, Oprah Winfrey. They seemed proud of it.

THAT was when life and politics had become a (dangerous) cartoon, and - here was the danger, already, right from the start - few Americans had even registered what kind of "change" they were actually voting for.

And, there's been no one around, with the balls to warn them.

My God, These People Are Insane, And Just Too Mothafuckin' Hard (To Take)

 

Back in the '90s, when asked what he hated about leftists, the first sin the late, great Andrew Breitbart pointed to was "Projection": 

They accuse you of what they've done. 

Understanding that, how can anyone listen to a Democrat Party member - and especially someone who's supposed to be a journalist - complain about whatever conspiracy theories occurred over the last few days, when it's obvious they've completely forgotten the entire Democrat Party fed us a ton of conspiracy theories over the entire last four years? Hillary's "Russian collusion" hoax-that-no-one-was-punished-for? President Trump was a traitor, peeing on hookers in Russian hotel rooms, for Putin? 

The entire party said this - establishment and their supporters - for YEARS. (And don't get me started on what was occurring on the left over all the years shows like The X-Files and Coast-To-Coast AM were on the air.) But, somehow, that's all slipped the minds of Bill ANTIVAXX Maher and Katie DEPROGRAMMER Couric, these two American geniuses, always at the ready with a lecture for us slow types, right through our TV screens. 

For the first time in my life, the "Idiot Box" is off-limits: it's earned that title.

Things Get Dark When Whites Refuse To Tell The Truth

Shirley Sherrod’s a self-confessed racist. She’s also an asshole. I hope she ends her life broke and in jail.

This is a country that's not currently in a happy place. I quoted Glenn Reynolds above, who is no Andrew Breitbart, pretending he doesn't defend white racists on the Right. Or that they - just the white racists - don't outnumber the black ones by 10 to 1, or have a long history of destroying black lives without compensation. Something I know, after reading him for years, Glenn's not particularly interested in. Let's compare:

During the 1921 riot, whites attacked blacks who were living in the area of Greenwood known as Black Wall Street. At least 38 people died during the riot and thousands of blacks were left homeless after having their homes torched by white mobs.

Prior to the riot, Black Wall Street had its own theaters, grocery stores, independent newspapers, and professional black class. It was all demolished by an irate white mob angry over a black teen’s alleged assault of a white female.

The government has never repaid the community for black wealth stolen during those riots.

Gee, you think that experience would turn people into  "racists"? And - more importantly - would they even be racists if that was the basis for their feelings? Or would their feelings be justified and, since they're forced to live without protection from whites, wouldn't they merely be looking out for themselves? 

Ol' Glenn doesn't care, as long as you get your sheet and gun, and base your feelings on shit he talks. He's made up a narrative.

Glenn hopes any black person  dies "broke and in jail"? Please:

I think liars like Glenn Reynolds - who deceives white people and cause further problems for blacks - should be shot for the good of the nation,...

 

Donations? What Have You Done With Them Already?

You know, if Andrew Breitbart were alive, I have a sneaking feeling he'd be a bit more nuanced about this headline on his site: 

Americans in 'Poverty' Have TVs, VCRs, Cell Phones, Air Conditioning

This is just a conservative bashing of the poor at it's worst.

I mean, Breitbart was smart - he could understand owning an empty fridge, right? Am I supposed to sell it? Then what? Who would buy my TV? I looked - people give them away now. Put them on the front lawn with a sign saying "FREE" attached to them. A VCR? Come on. I borrow CDs and DVDs from the library. And I use the cheapest cell phone I can get (above an ObamaPhone) but - according to these genius' - I'm rich in America.

Talk about rubbing it in. It's bad enough I've tried to do all the right things, but then to have this laid on me, just as all my latest efforts crumbled? Well, that stings a little. So, let's pull back the curtain a bit, and see how this whole pull-yourself-up-by-your-boot-straps thing works in reality:

I started off divorced, paying off debts. For the last few years, after NewAge management chased me out of corporate work, I've been employed as a laborer. Landscaping, working on houses, putting up steel buildings, erecting fences, digging ditches - you name it. And, occasionally, I'd get some help from the blog. Not much, anywhere from $5 to $25 usually, but sometimes a few thousand dollars. So what's it done for me lately? A lot:

I moved from this tiny room in a house - where I was living out of a suitcase, for years, with the few things I brought with me - into this bigger one below with all my recording equipment and things:

Well, how did I get all my recording equipment and things? I had to rent a U-Haul and go to several places, across the country, and get them (long story). Keep in mind, except for the time it took for the road trip, I never stopped doing labor. But, then, tragedy struck.

My landlord, an older white gentleman, had an accident and lost his mind - literally. We lived together so, all of a sudden, I became responsible for a lot of new things, because his family lives far away and his other renter (a creep who I despised) moved out immediately. (Did I have to move, too?) I am still (partially) responsible for my landlord's care, taking him out to escape the long-term care facility he's in, making sure his needs are cared for and he's comfortable. He's my friend. I'm fine with it, and enjoy doing it, but it's still been a burden. Financial and otherwise.

So, of course, I eventually got an ulcer, followed by my lower back getting hurt. Then, one night while I was sleeping, my neck "popped". As I recently mentioned, without health insurance, my first prescription was for $800.00 and it was one of three. More followed, including lots that made me comatose, so I'd lie still and not re-injure my spine, which has happened a few times in the last 8 weeks.

And yes, I do still have a *brilliant* album I'm working on, and - along with getting my recording equipment - three things have been purchased to make that happen. Two turntables (one normal, for my records, and one digital) and a small sampler. Thank you.

And now - the latest development - I've had a manic/depressive friend/helper here, to yelp at the moon, drive me crazy by never shutting up, and (I'm grateful) making sure I can care for myself.

But according to the guys at Breitbart.com, I'm rich, because the swamp cooler works.

Getting All Those Missing Pieces Of The Puzzle In Place

For all those folks who can't see "Lee Daniels' 'The Butler'" is a fiction, but sided with the Mormons when they insisted HBO's "Big Love" wasn't telling the truth:

This was not your typical tax court case, to put it mildly. 

The case was finally heard in early 2012 after frequent delays and a failed attempt by Blackmore and his legal team to win a sweeping ban on evidence, publication and some witness testimony. In the end he gave his own testimony under subpoena as a “compelled witness” with the expectation that his statements in this civil case can’t incriminate him in any future criminal trials. 

Blackmore arrived each day at the Vancouver courtroom during the four weeks of hearing wearing a natty black suit and clutching a black-bound Book of Mormon. Campbell and federal Justice Department lawyers were bound by an equally unbending tome: the Canadian Income Tax Act. 

“These appeals introduced unique and novel legal and factual issues that are not normally before this court,” Campbell wrote with judicial understatement. She wrote how she had to acquaint herself with the intricacies of Mormonism, Episcopal polity and apostolic success. “Many terms, such as ‘The Priesthood Work,’ ‘United Effort Plan,’ or ‘United Effort Plan Trust,’ ‘Law of Consecration’ and ‘Tithing’ were either completely new to me or I had no working knowledge of them.” 

Her patience was tried by Blackmore’s often evasive or vague answers, and his convoluted spiritual explanations, frequently delivered sotto voice. He grudgingly admitted to having 21 “plural wives,” though he had trouble remembering the name of at least one. He fathered 47 children during the five years under review, which may help explain his inattention to the intricacies of the tax act. By some estimates he has more than 120 children. 

Bountiful doesn’t appear on any B.C. map. It is the name that the fundamentalists call the community based at Lister, just a kilometre north of the U.S. border and seven kilometres from Creston, where some of the sect’s business dealings are based. Many operate under the Blackmore-controlled company J.R. Blackmore and Sons, which include several fencepost-manufacturing plants in B.C. and Alberta, as well as various logging and farm-related operations.

Takes a while to set up "several fencepost-manufacturing plants" and "various logging and farm-related operations", don't it? While producing 120 children? I've only got two thoughts:

1) Child sexual abuse or no child sexual abuse, nobody really wanted to catch these guys too badly. I've never heard a word about them on Michelle Malkin's Hot Air, Breitbart, or ("21st Century Relationships") Instapundit.

 2) When it comes to acceptable ways of building wealth, they might be right that black people have been going about this thing ALL WRONG,...
