I've seen so many white guys teasing veterans for their poverty, that, to imagine most whites care about anything, but trying to get one over on others - no matter who they are - is a real stretch. I've always said the poor know their needs better than anyone, so any money should go directly to them, but, apparently, other peeps need to learn, and it appears the disappearance of Johnny Bobbitt's GoFundMe money (to the couple that raised it to "help" him after he befriended them) is their lesson:

This story is a huge mess. It remains to be seen where the money went but Bobbitt has suggested an online gambling problem might be part of the explanation. As for Jazz’s suggestion that Bobbitt should have just been given the money and allowed to handle it himself, I guess it’s difficult to argue that would have been worse than what seems to have happened here...Bobbitt’s fate is a counter-factual whereas the couple blowing the money is looking more like a fact.

And, when "help" comes through government, that fact is called "bureaucracy".

And also, there's been the numerous reports on Wisconsin's black poverty rate and segregation, the same harassment and illegal arrests of blacks we see nationwide, and much, much more. None of it by accident, all of it by default.

Taken together, for the whites of Madison to miss what's been happening there, racially - when it can easily be seen and predicted, even from a mediated distance, by TMR - is to be thoroughly detached from reality.

Wilson, of course, is the police officer who shot to death 18-year-old Michael Brown Jr, whose own family’s GoFundMe site has raised $339,000. As officer Wilson’s (currently inactive) fundraising sites promised: “All proceeds will be sent directly to Darren Wilson and his family for any financial needs they may have including legal fees.”

If he ever has legal fees. Right now, all Darren Wilson has is a lot of money because he killed someone.

Yep - as long as I went along with the folks who revealed themselves to be racists, some money rolled in. But - as soon as I called them on it - that shit dried up so fast, it might as well have never occurred. (I've been essentially homeless, for months, but do they care? Nope. They've told me to die - directly - for disagreeing, which is all I need to know to further judge them, and their politics,...) Meanwhile, I watch the Zimmerman's and the Wilson's raking in millions overnight - along with the politicians everyone (supposedly) hates or distrusts.

And they still wonder why I, and others like me, say - as Americans -  they're cruel and their priorities are all wrong,...
