I Was Forced Into This (As Well As Forced Out Of It,...)

When you've walked in my shoes, this joke just never gets old:

The Healing (In Order To Burn Out God Must Be On Fire)

Can you imagine the Middle East if this were it's existential conclusion as well?

Too many think "spiritual but not religious" (AKA NewAge) is a progression but - when the goal is grasping reality - "you can believe what you want to believe" acts mostly as a placeholder to either postpone, or avoid, stepping out toward atheism all together.

Exit polls show those listing "none" for religion was 12% of the electorate in 2012. In 1984, it was only 4%. 12% is a bigger slice of the voting pie than Hispanics or Asians, and about the same as African Americans.

"Spiritual but not religious" is sort of a "open-minded" purgatory - some say a prison - a place where you're trapped in saying and doing illogical things for someone else's (now adopted) illogical reasons, until you come to your senses.

"To meet people who’ve been out of the cult — I mean, yeah, you want to ask them about Xenu and aliens — but the fact is these are smart people. They’ve just been completely destroyed."

 So - instead of a religious nut going on about whatever - you're now a "spiritual" one, railing about homeopathy or studying yoga, still no closer to coming to grips with what's important under the circumstances.

JUNEAU, Wis. (AP) — Two dancers at an exotic club in Juneau have been cited after they allegedly brawled over a dollar bill. 

A Post-Crescent of Appleton report says one of the women is pregnant. 

Dodge County deputies say they were called to Silk Exotic last week to break up a fight. They say it started when a customer tried to give a dollar to one of the dancers but the other dancer took it. 

The sheriff's report says both women began to brawl. They tussled on the floor, punching, slapping and pulling each other's hair. Other dancers and customers separated the two.

And they're also forever wasting more time, money, and lives - and causing even more brutal but unseen harm as they do so - while supporting a criminal class of frauds very, very well.

She claims she has always had a very good sixth sense and intuition and charges her clients £40 per session.

Or how about people who claim to talk to the dead? We know better, but Sylvia Browne and the like are walking around free. Psychics? Homeopaths, pretending to be doctors and ripping off the public?

And why are San Francisco cops looking for crooks who targeted superstitious Asian women while Oprah, who's been "heavily promoting the work of New Age gurus Eckhart Tolle and Marianne Williamson," gets called "the moral force of the nation"?

Aren't the crooks and Oprah doing the same thing, but to different audiences?

This Is NOT A Happy Easter: Sai Baba Has Died!

So, there's another one who got away, while his victims were forced to suffer in silence, living lives of depression as they powerlessly watched the others worship this asshole as "a living god". Those fucking evil morons. Those hideous torturers. Those shameful excrement.

Oh well, at least he's dead now. That's one way to make it stop,...shit, because of the way this joint is set up, it's the only way. The rest of you aren't going to do anything. Australia's Sydney Morning Herald had a pretty good article about a woman named Carli McConkey and "how the unwary fall victim to mind control" (and isn't it strange we don't see more articles like that in America, where the phenomena is most prevalent?) We thought it was worth mentioning.

After 40 plus years of cult indoctrination, themes of NewAge mind control exist throughout Western culture already, so we're going to look at the McConkey story the Sydney Morning Herald presents and see how many of our regular themes are in this one lady's life story, and also how they form a matrix that's almost impossible for anyone to escape without critical thought. (Anybody else notice how NewAgers multi-task, with chiropractors promoting homeopathy and the like? That's an especially easy tactic.)

Encountering the "bait and switch" cult technique of saying the first course will fix everything, only to be informed that to become fully ''integrated'', there were no fewer than 17 other courses, all at considerable expense, to do. (Scientology.)

Hanging out on dating websites. (This is just a bad idea all around - can't you walk outside and talk to people?)

Attending "workshops". (Or "seminars", or "retreats" - they're always offering a fucking "retreat".)

Public nakedness. (We know, We know, but still - we don't know these people.)

Vegan diets. (Once they control what you eat, they can control your mind, and a diet with no meat means you're less likely to fight back.)

An apparently random reward-punishment system. (You know, like Obama tries to do.)

Reincarnation. (This is just stupid to believe in.)

The Intergalactic Council of the Universe. (This is even stupider.)

The city of Atlantis. (We're really dumbing down now.)

''Spirit guides". (Pain works better.)

Cult leaders pretending to have god-like powers. (Adults "pretending" at all.)

Feminism. (Female guards at concentration camps.)

Any outsider claiming to have a symbiotic relationship with someone already in a marriage is probably a cultist. (Why would anyone want to insert themselves into another's marriage anyway? Don't they already have a life?)

Don't be a sucker - none of these things are important to anyone's life or well-being:
