TMR, Mitt & The Republican Party: It's Gonna Be YUGE!

Me, every time Donald Trump's on television.

This is sweet! As I’ve been getting my shit together, politics has been steadily discombobulating, and (to be perfectly honest with you) I couldn’t be happier about it: The Left has no idea what they’re looking at, and the Right, at least and at last, is getting the comeuppance they’ve so justly deserved.

It's about time.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with any of it.

Well, there IS something wrong when a quack-lover gets away with calling your guy a con man.

For those of you coming in late to our story, this blog is called The Macho Response, and I am The Crack Emcee, a former "liberal bomb-thrower" who became an anti-cultist and joined the Republican Party, only to leave it in disgust over (amongst other things) it’s lack of sensitivity to it’s own racism (or racism in general) and how the party cowered behind the nomination of that phony, fraud, and con man, Mitt Romney, in 2012.

R.I.P.

He’s doing really well now, politically, ain’t he?

Bill Whittle Tries The Okie Doke Again (Claiming To Tell Real History While Not Explaining Racists On His Side)

If Bill Whittle will lie - as he says he's telling the truth - then what does that say about the party he's fronting for? In order for this hackneyed tale he's spinning to make sense, he's got to at least explain Lee Atwater, and why Cliven Bundy and Dylan Roof and whatnot are drawn to the Republicans - and why the party says so many things most blacks find repulsive. He's got to explain today's latest Jim Crow scheme to keep the Confederate flag, why even black Republicans (like David Clarke, Wisconsin's famous Sheriff, or now, Bill Cosby after the "pound cake" speech conservatives loved so much) sound like evil lunatics to the rest of us, and why they only constitute about 5% of the black population, when blacks already know them as family and not just political opponents.

No, this kind of sorry-assed con job requires a lot more planning - and much better execution - than Ol' Bill is showing here, and that's a pity:

As I've often said - even I could make a case for the Right - but unfortunately, just like the Confederacy itself, the racists just haven't ever seemed too interested in saving themselves, politically or otherwise,...

The Post For Fraud (In The World Fraud Of Psych - Icks)

Here's three fakers operating in England.

One almost tricking Barbara Walters into becoming a client in America.

Deceiving traumatized American citizens and the police.

Getting Medieval (What Year Is It Wherever You Live?)

A word for the so-called "journalists" out there - especially those who want to "make a difference":
"Psychics don’t exist. Psychic powers are not a real thing. A psychic cannot help a detective solve a crime, because there is no such thing as a legitimate psychic. And it’s dangerous and wrong to report otherwise."
You can file this under "Shit I shouldn't have to say in 2013, but have to anyway"....

We're On The Road And We're Gunning For The Buddha

There's some crazy music coming out these days.

If the Dalai Lama knows he's a faker (and I'm convinced he does) this would be a smart move:
"Dalai Lama says if scientific method finds Buddhist principles wrong, Buddhism must change."

It's whatever you say it is, just say it's Buddhism.

Meanwhile, probably from looking at old Hitler photos, Salon's Mary Elizabeth Williams has mastered patting herself on the back while giving the Black Power salute:
"B-37 may have been legitimately concerned that a book would all but surely expose her identity and put her privacy and safety in jeopardy. She may have been motivated entirely by self-preservation. And her retreat certainly doesn’t spell the end of the Trayvon Martin industry – there will be other deals to be made, other stories to be sold off. And none of it changes the fact that a kid is still dead, that parents still grieve for a son lost. But what unfolded so quickly on Monday – from a potential profit off senseless death to a very public shaming that led to a change of heart – shows that sometimes our outrage really does have a positive effect."

Death threats - I mean, "a very public shaming that led to a change of heart" - always seem to do the trick, once someone's "been motivated entirely by self-preservation," don't they, Gangsta?

The things you can read in the so-called legitimate press these days,...

"It's The Most Amazingly Successful Con Game Ever Invented" (And We're Forced To Live In It For All Time)

In my own life, I must admit, I'm not as smug about being an atheist as some of these folks. Just like with gays, I don't think there's anything to be proud of, or to rally around. There simply are no gods, spirits or powers. Big whoop.

Like being born black, or being born at all, it's just the way it is and that's enough. I'm really not in a fight about it. There's nothing to fight for or against.

That's the way I see it anyway,...

"The only position that leaves me with no cognitive dissonance is atheism. It is not a creed. Death is certain, replacing both the siren-song of Paradise and the dread of Hell. Life on this earth, with all its mystery and beauty and pain, is then to be lived far more intensely: we stumble and get up, we are sad, confident, insecure, feel loneliness and joy and love. There is nothing more; but I want nothing more."

$ee, If You've Got Al Gore Working On The BIG $cam,...

C'mon, My Homies In Crime, let's talk about how The Real Dawgs roll:

How much $money$ do you think your buddies made, Ann and Glenn, by imploring people for years to "stock up!" based on the fear drummed up from their totally-over hyped lightbulb Y2K nonsense?
"The House on Wednesday voted to block the enforcement of light bulb standards that many say would effectively force people to buy more expensive compact fluorescent bulbs."

However much it is, Ann's forgotten already,...

"The Biggest Loser" Shouldn't Be About Weight Loss

So I've got more evidence that supplement salesman, Mitt Romney, really cares about us:
"And here it is: Dr. Offit gives a nod to 4 of the 51,000 supplements on the market: omega-3 fatty acids to prevent heart disease; calcium and vitamin D to prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women; and folic acid during pregnancy to prevent spinal-cord defects in newborns. As it happens, several months ago — presumably after the book went to press — an influential national task force found the evidence for calcium and vitamin D to be unconvincing. So that reduces the list of sensible supplements to two."

Two. TWO (2). Two - out of the 51,000 preparations Mitt Romney sells (I won't call them "medicines") and, with that ratio of bonafide-to-bogus, we're supposed to accept Romney doesn't know he's been ripping everybody off to finance his cult's ambitions? That he's a "good man"? Or that his B.S. cult somehow inoculated him against charges of deception, rather than being the source of much of it (supplements are an important business for Mormons)?

And how about all these "health" food stores, or the Whole Foods/Trader Joe's contingent? I repeat - two out of 51,000 - that sounds like a class action lawsuit to me, but I'm not a lawyer:

How much money have they taken YOU for? How many lives have they destroyed?
And for what? Oh yeah:

Because they all wuv you so much.

And it's a good thing we have all these online lawyers, and law professors and whatnot, looking out for our interest, huh? They've done a smashing job to protect us through promoting Romney, right?

Without their "advice", we Republicans wouldn't be where we are today,....

Obecalp Fo Evol: Feminism's Got Everything Backwards

Cultism can affect you in the weirdest ways.

I used to have a gay friend (now deceased) who ran a con posing as a voodoo priestess. Khali said, if I had convinced my wife I could levitate, she never would've left.

Now, every time I hear or see something about levitating, it reminds me - if I had considered that was an option - I would've done it in a heartbeat. I would've done it. I would've done anything. And then, as opposed to truth, that con would've become the foundation of our marriage ("My husband can levitate!") leaving me stuck doing bedroom parlor tricks for some crazy witch who would still be open to lying to me (and being lied to) for the rest of our lives.

What I'm saying is, today, songs about levitating/flying/whatever make me feel,...dirty.

Then the string breaks:

Physical shivering when I eventually/inevitably let it wash over me, according to the NewAge, both my present situation - and Khali's imaginary one - are the positive outcomes,...

Better-Than-Hot Air Candidate Number One: USAToday!

Of all the papers out there, the usually-totally-uninformative USAToday delivered what has to be, for a layman, a pretty damned informative article on one industry that fueled Mitt Romney's inspiring rise and fortune. It's described a little differently here than at the Republican National Convention, but I mean, bing, bang, pow, man - this paper is really working to rectify any discrepancies, ASAP:
While many in the alternative medicine industry are cashing in, Offit says there are few people looking out for the desperate patients whose hopes — and bank accounts — are being exploited.
"Quackery is an enormous concern," Briggs says.
Consumers are often taken in by outrageous claims, partly because they lack the scientific knowledge to spot phonies, and partly because they fall victim to a huckster's charismatic personality, Offit says.
"Our science literacy is terrible as a nation," Briggs says. "People like magic. I don't know why, but they do."
Many Americans are unaware that supplements, unlike drugs, don't need to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration — or tested for safety — before going on the market, Offit says. One study found that 58% of Americans believe that the FDA must approve herbal supplements before they're sold.
"When a consumer buys a food supplement or dietary supplement, they may think it's really going to do what it says on the label," Waxman says. "That's not necessarily the case. ... Consumers should know that when they buy a dietary supplement, they are really on their own."

[Light organ. Preacher's cadence:]

Brothers and Sisters, can we please take a moment, to thank Mitt again, for his service to his country, in this matter, and then be honored, with another rousing speech, from his ugly, NewAge MS-riddled wife, about how fucking lucky we are, to have him, working, in this way, on our behalf?

I said "please" you haters.

Once we can cross-reference this type of information with the coming spiritual unmasking, it'll eventually make a dent. I understand it's difficulty, like studying Homer. I can wait.

In the mean time, good job, USAToday:

It's nice to know you don't have to be shit, all the time, either,...

The Intelligence Is Wrong (And It's Not Very Intelligent)

This must have came right after the briefing on U.F.O.s:
“When Jimmy Carter was elected President, one of the first things he did was to have Uri Geller give him a four hour briefing on the Soviet psychic threat. America didn’t want a psychic gap and Uri was the go-to guy about these things.”
The second thing Carter did was start running people down at random,...
