Why Mark Cuban Has A Ghetto Pass And Wingers Don't

A little consideration for the grieving goes a long way:

And he did not - repeat: NOT - follow that with monkey noises,...

  1. What he said wasn't racist in the first place and the reaction was way over the top. But to the extent there was misunderstanding about Trayvon Martin, okay.

And the suggestion that all right wingers (or even a sizable minority) are making "monkey noises" is nonsense.

  2. The "suggestion that all blacks (or even a sizable minority) have 'bad culture' is nonsense" as well, but I don't see or hear you challenging it or leaving the barn when the door's open. You know the history but they're your friends. Fine.

    I'm walking this way,...

  3. Okay.

I know that the permanent (or mostly permanent) 20% at the socio economic bottom have poor financial skills. That transcends race and is tied into abysmal primary education. So I do not see it changing. Add some meth and other street drugs to the mix, along with violent drug gangs that go along with it, and you have a bad situation.

This isn't about poor financial skills, but a predatory culture - laws were passed, Cow - fixated on black people.

And one that's been totally avoidable except for one group of people,...

  5. What group of people would that be? Whites in general? White protestants? Southern whites?

I am in agreement with you that the system was rigged against Blacks in the South (and in parts of the North) from the end of slavery through the sixties. Things gradually got better from there. Now it is less racial and more socio economic.

Does this explain all your failures and successes too?

"All"? No way - but it does mean, also, some of yours aren't totally your own, either. That's what a rigged system was rigged to do - so we got the results the racists were/are shooting for.

The question now is, are we going to fix it?
