Lives Awash In Glory

BWAAAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA: "Jay Shetty, the self-help podcaster, former Hindu monk and bestselling author whose [guests have included the likes of Michelle Obama [and] whose Hollywood status led him to officiate the wedding of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez] plagiarized social media posts,...lied about key aspects of his life while climbing the ladder of stardom,...falsely claimed to have spent three years in a temple in India,...[and] also concealed his past affiliation with a Hare Krishna sect, members of which were once accused of child sexual assault and corporal punishment."

 They never learn.

If One Of These Things Was Not Like The Others - Why Were They Together?

"The only person who can sit at the top of this pyramid [of harm] is the one who promotes every pseudoscience: Oprah Winfrey. To her audience of 100 million, she promotes the paranormal, psychic powers, new age spiritualism, conspiracy theories, quack celebrity diets, past life regression, angels, ghosts, alternative therapies like acupuncture and homeopathy, anti-vaccination, detoxification, vitamin megadosing, and virtually everything that will distract a human being from making useful progress and informed decisions in life. Although much of what she promotes is not directly harmful, she offers no distinction between the two, leaving the gullible public increasingly and incrementally injured with every episode."

NewAge Naziism 101: Making An Industry, Or Ideology, From What Hurts Others

Years ago it occurred to me that hope is a negative emotion....Hope can easily involve a kind of magical thinking,...This has become part of a number of New Age “philosophies” involving visualization and “the power of attraction.” I even heard one young woman say she didn’t have to worry about getting pregnant because the mere fact of not wanting to get pregnant would stop conception from happening. All I can say to her is “good luck with that.”

TMR's Dumb & Useless Conversation About Race, Pt. V

It seems, no matter how often I openly criticize certain blacks (or certain black behaviors) and/or side with the George Zimmerman's of the world, there's a segment of America who won't be happy unless I completely abandon the black American narrative for the new and improved American narrative they've come up with. I know it's not like me, but I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Have you heard the new and improved American narrative? I'm also not sure if I've got it all myself, but it posits, nothing that's happened racially in this country, up until the actual date of my specific birth, has had any effect on me and mine, and it was just Democrats anyway so shut up, be happy, and help Republicans string popcorn for Mitt.

(It appears I'd already opted out, last year, before the talking points had been approved.)

The new and improved American narrative also says if there WAS an effect on me and mine - even if it was exclusively Democrats and keeping in mind the horrors of serfs and the Irish Potato Famine - America has thought long and hard and discovered, in it's wisdom, there's "no recourse" for anything, anywhere, ever, in any time frame, but especially not in what NewAgers would call The Now.

It's silly to even talk about, of course, because THERE WAS NO EFFECT. Based solely on the color of our skin, blacks just can't accept (or are too stupid to comprehend) a coinkadink of history that, right under the words "All Men Are Created Equal," gave whites the money and power while the prisons and graveyards got the black males. (They were - all - the "bad eggs," you know?) And speaking of we black males, the new and improved American narrative also says don't have any particular affection for the current crop who haven't made it into prison, because those black males A) make a show of not feminizing B) focus almost exclusively on making money, and C) for some apparently unknown reason, insist on the right to openly crow "Fuck you" to the world.

The new and improved American narrative says these particular black males, too, are really, really stupid and horrible (but extremely influential) examples - and America can't have that.

Unfortunately, like Democrat claims Eric Holder is fair or Michelle Obama is beautiful, you have to be really smart to grasp the new American narrative. Which, I guess, is what really bothers me:

They KNOW my dumb ass was just getting a handle on the old one,...

Driven To Porn (And Dropped Off There For Your Girl)

"Where is the awe over procreation?
Lame little men, whining about their meager money.
No one cares about you, because no one should!
Where is your aspiration? Where is your altruism?
Why do you leave the house?
You have your porn and your masturbation.
The alternative is true manhood, but is that something you are capable of? Apparently not!
I laugh in your scrunched up crying little face.”
The first man told police that Kurre "ended up kissing me," before they ended up having sex in the bathroom. It was then that he made the video.
They went upstairs to a bedroom for more sex-on-tape. Later, Kurre turned her affections on the other man and went to a bedroom with him, according to the first man. He said she then bounced back to him and they spent the night together.
There didn't appear to be any animosity among the parties when they woke up in the morning, according to the transcripts.
A day later, the second man said Kurre called him because she forgot her driver's license in his apartment, as well as a hair extension that came off. She said she'd be by at 6 p.m. to pick them up. When she showed up, he met her outside with her driver's license and hair, according to the transcripts.
He told police that Kurre stood with her arms folded when he walked toward her. Somebody grabbed him from behind and somebody else punched him. "Then the guy that was holding me hits me and then they continued to hit me and hit me." It lasted five to seven minutes, he said, estimating that he absorbed 55 to 60 punches and kicks and wound up with fractured ribs and a bad bruise behind is ear.
"You think you can rape my girl?" one of the attackers screamed,...

The tips of her breasts, enormous, obliterating the view:
New York’s Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake school district has become the latest casualty in first lady Michelle Obama’s preferred lunch plan, dropping the menu after too many students complained of hunger.
“[Food service manager Nicky] Boehm and her staff worked hard to implement the new regulations, but there were just too many problems and too many foods that students did not like and would not purchase,” said Assistant Superintendent Chris Abdoo about the National School Lunch Program in a statement reported by EAGNews.org. “Students complained of being hungry with these lunches and the district lost money.”
The school system decided to instead create its own lunch menu for next year.
The district lost about $100,000 trying out the federal menu, which offered such meals as “part” of a chicken patty on a minicroissant, EAGNews.org reported.
“Students felt they weren’t getting good value for their money,” Ms. Boehm said in EAGNews.org. “The high schoolers especially complained the portion sizes were too small and many more students brought in lunch from home.”

Her kiss, wet or dry - didn't matter - it would still always cold:
For Hide, the problems started when he gave up school.
"I started to blame myself and my parents also blamed me for not going to school. The pressure started to build up," he says.
"Then, gradually, I became afraid to go out and fearful of meeting people. And then I couldn't get out of my house.”

At least, that's the way I remember her, if I still remember anything about her at all,...

Discovering How A Hard Head Makes For A Soft Behind

This is getting pretty old, pretty fast - I tell you something, then we have to wait days, weeks, months, or even years, to see someone else noticed what was obvious when I said it:

"Cult-like followings appear to be something of a trending topic among dramas this season."

You don't say? Well, apparently not only hadn't I noticed but none of my "friends" in blogging noticed either. They didn't notice it's happening, that I mentioned it first, that it's a topic worth mentioning (nothing about cults is worth mentioning according to this crew) that there's a reason for the attention on cults, or that my long-term attention to the subject has been (shall we say) "prophetic".

Sure, almost two years ago, Glenn Reynolds can write, "The Crack Emcee is saying I Told You So. He’s been kinda hard on the whole New Age thing for a while," but as this dangerous, decisive, and too-long-neglected subject moves to the center of America's cultural conscienceness, my insights aren't as worthy of mention on Instapundit's political blog as, say, the "7 Benefits Of Having Sex.

(They do their dirty work in Tennessee, too, Glenn.)

All this action going on - an actual opportunity to chase down a true menace to society, and (since I mention the legacy of the Nazis so often) one featuring it's own concentration camps - but, instead, they're discussing Michelle Obama's eye rolls and whether or not Beyoncé lip-synchs.

After losing an election with a Mormon, and after conservatives acknowledged that cult(ure) - not politics - moves this nation, none of these bloggers have much more than a single post on cults.

Or my work on them.

But cults and cultish thinking ARE the story of our era.

And whether we have to wait days, weeks, months, or even years more, time will tell it - since others won't - and in a manner befitting the transgression,….

I Want The Old News Back

So, what was the big non-news story yesterday? Oh yeah, Lupe Fiasco. And today, it's Michelle Obama rolling her eyes. Seriously - along with introducing an early primer on gay slang - they've been reduced to analyzing body language (an exact science) before tap-tap-tapping away, to let us know their trust-me-it's-accurate conclusions. It kind-of makes me wonder:

Between politicians and journalists (and other bloggers) who wastes our time more?

The Beautiful People

Am I right all the time? No. But, despite the fact Ann Althouse says it's ugly, when talking to others I think it's important they can trust I show reality - and I not only try to do that, but I'm proud to do so.

I like that my mind works correctly. That way, readers don't have to wait days, weeks, months, or even years, to understand what's going on, as the rest of these idiots work their heavily-financed magic to sway us off course and into the traps they've laid. Here's what I wrote after Michelle Obama's speech:

Do they really think that, just because I can see cutaways to brown people nodding like they're in church, I'm going to forget this is the politics of pandering and nobody's giving me any specifics or tackling our tough issues directly? (The Republicans didn't either, BTW,…)

Did you catch that ending? "The Republicans didn't either"? And now here comes Jon Stewart, THREE DAYS LATER, with the startling revelation there were more specifics in Clinton's speech than - wait for it - the entire Republican Convention:

Now, has Ann Althouse - not being ugly - been telling you that? No, she likes parsing (and falling for) the theatrics. The Instapundit is playing a highly-partisan game, and so is Michelle Malkin and Hot Air, so their patriotism - and commitment to their readers - are questionable. Look around - THEY'RE ALL TRYING TO SPIN YOU - with no more concern for what's really happening than they have for ordering lunch ("What did you think of the corn beef? Did you like that? I think I'll try that, too…")

For all their talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, they can't seem to relay the only thing that matters, which is - ultimately - what's actually happening. And they probably think they can't write about that because the answer - which they, themselves, insure by their empty coverage - would be a big fat NOTHING. Not even during Clinton's speech because, as I told you, he's a liar and there's no reason to accept anything a liar says - even when he uses numbers.

So should I be ashamed of my ugliness? I don't think so. What I'd be ashamed of - what I am ashamed of - is all these popular and college educated people, who have millions of readers, fame, money, they speak publicly, write articles, teach kids, get invited on radio and television, and yet they're not as smart (and don't seem to have even half the commitment to truth or country or even their fellow man) as some clown on Comedy Central and a hard-up black drop-out who rails about cults.

It's that - and where our so-called betters are collectively leading us - which is horrifying,…

Hey, Dummy: Somebody Cue The Sanford & Son Theme

I guess we can call this The Make-Over, Part II - where Michelle goes from never being proud of this country to, all of a sudden, being totally in love because she's flown over it in Air Force One. Remarkable. And did you know she's got kids, too? Amazing. AND even an MS story to tell? Take THAT, Ann Romney's disease! (Jesus Christ, can these people be any more obvious?)

But she's got the Richie Rich's in one category - being from America's ground floor. Barack Obama drove a rust bucket, just like I do. His best shoes didn't fit well, just like mine don't. She's not talking of the financial success that comes from being born on Home Plate and getting treated like you hit a Grand Slam, but of a FATHER (!) making it to First Base, and being determined to get his kids on Second.

Do I buy it? I don't know - Michelle Obama certainly doesn't look or act like someone with common roots now (and they haven't led the country for the last four years like it) but the story elements ring true.

And while I didn't get to watch all of the Republican Convention, I don't think I ever heard the words "janitors," or "respect," or especially "values," in all of what I did see. I honestly don't think these Republicans today would even acknowledge a janitor, they're so out of touch.

Continuing back to the downside, I hate the Diana Ross hair, and, though the Democrats are cheering them, don't know where these supposed "good jobs" are. And while I understand the argument for ObamaCare, she doesn't address how it's going to be paid for OR what it's passage will do to the character of our nation. And - sorry, Ladies - but this is the wrong blog to try and push for women not being more responsible with their bodies, or paying for their own condoms "healthcare." I'm not buying it.

All-in-all, deep down inside - after doing a total gut-check - I'm not buying any of it. She really lost me when she said, "it's not political, it's personal," like I don't know why they're in the arena. Do they really think that, just because I can see cutaways to brown people nodding like they're church, I'm going to forget this is the politics of pandering and nobody's giving me any specifics or tackling our tough issues directly? (The Republicans didn't either, BTW,...) Seriously, they think I'm THAT easily conned?

Well, yeah, they do apparently - on both sides.

And that, alone, makes this whole ordeal about as insulting as I've ever seen it,...

Georgie Boy Returned To The White House (Hooray!)

The greatest president in my lifetime finally got his portrait in the White House - but, unfortunately, it had to happen while those two scumbags, who have bad-mouthed him for the last six years, were staying there. Oh well. That didn't diminish his sense of humor - or his class - and, I have to admit, I welled-up a little as he spoke of his father's unconditional love for him, making him what he is:

A really decent guy.

I still won't be happy until George W. Bush's face is on Mount Rushmore, as the latest (not the last) in a long line of great men, preserving what's wonderful about this country and keeping it safe for more to come. We're in a nasty patch now, but once we come out of it, I'm pretty sure our nation will have seen the error of it's ways, and further reward the man who knew if he seriously "stands athwart history, yelling Stop," time would be still just long enough for him to get the job done - and he did.

Bin Laden is dead, Iran is confused and cornered, Syria is in an uproar, and Egypt just held free elections. This is ALL George's handiwork, and it is good. The lies that this economy's breakdown is his fault (when he and McCain warned us it was coming in 2003, 2005, and 2006) is just that - a lie - and the Democrats will have to eat that, too, when we're done with them. Damn them all - especially their pied pipers in the media. We've ALL deserved better.

But forget that ugly crap. For a another brief shining moment My Man was back in town and, as his singular example of our true American character was reawakened to be put on display, the jokes started flying, and smiles started spreading, even while he reminded those two charlatans who hosted the day that - from George W. to George W. - we didn't do too badly. Heck, even now, to a large extent, rather than trying to get George W. Bush's car out of a ditch, the Obama's are still coasting on the fumes he left behind. And I'm pretty sure THEY know it - even if the general public doesn't. I, for one, will never forget it:

Without a doubt, the Bush years to have been the most important era of my time on Earth.
