Who's That Asking "What Are You Afraid Of?" Again?

"It's time to panic"

Willed amnesia is interesting. Deliberately forgetting what was said and done. And even who was there at the time:

And, let's not forget - if it went down exactly like that - it was Obama's fault.

Didn't nobody else do anybody nothin',...

Radio Sweeper: From Rush (From A Bad Motherfucker)

Blacks aren't Sandra Fluke.

They told me I was wrong to go there, to making TMR into a racial zone, but I know when my country's culture turns - and Rush Limbaugh's feeling it, too, now:

"Take that bone out of your nose and call me back."

Naturally, as a Dittohead, I know it's a ruse - just as I know no conservatives are going to contact Rush and publicly tell him to cut it out like they do TMR - and I also know (like Matt Drudge using his "Knockout Game" dog whistles) Rush is smart enough to know when he's being disingenuous as well.

Not only that, but you all sound the same, too..

Rush knows history, so logic says the man who does his work "flawlessly with zero mistakes" has to know he's taking his listeners for a ride.

Anybody white want to lend a hand, go right ahead. Anybody?

The truth is, whites HELPED to end slavery, just as they HELPED in the Civil Rights Movement, but the idea that anyone wanted freedom for blacks more, or suffered more to get it, than blacks themselves, is preposterous. Blacks have always freed ourselves, and the importance of destroying slavery wasn't a choice, like it was for whites. No white man had to tell Harriet Tubman what she was doing, and they didn't always know, but "Moses" is one example of blacks destroying slavery.

They won't even let us get high.

And yes, while whites ended it, there was still 250 years of slavery that needs to be accounted for, as well as the betrayals and broken promises of Reconstruction, and Jim and Jane Crow that followed it. Wealth accumulation as blacks wallow in poverty, further racism and now, even this latest phenomena of whites killing black teens at will. In other words, yes, whites (but, more specifically, America and it's government) have a LOT to feel guilty about. Including the lying still going on today, by people like Rush, to discredit what blacks have done, while still perpetuating what whites, collectively, have and still do:

Ready, aim, fire!

The black man speaks.
"See, this is what I mean by you're sick - in the head:

You'll consider any scenario - including I'm a raving racist instead of the artist some of you have known for years - any scenario, except the only one that matters:

YOU MUST CHANGE.

Rand Paul has told you. The Republican leadership has told you. Everyone who isn't a white male - and even many of them - have told you.

I'm telling you - but I'm also working your last nerve (and spending my own time) to rush you there a little faster because, frankly, I think you can do it.

There, I said it."

"Half my brain behind my back just to make it fair."

So, it appears to me, I'm a bigger man than Rush and his fans - who'd say I "play the victim" - but also some hanging online at the Althouse:

An example of how the white man is really the real victim out there.

I've noticed, collectively, white males have got their anti-victim line down-pat. To the point where it's morphed into a self-defeating, crazy-making, pathological utterance, based on lies and (this is when a racist neurosis has developed) a much-more-than-obvious denial of reality in America:

Rush has listeners, Ted has listeners, their listeners have listeners,...

Whites outnumber blacks 6 to 1, and whites all think they're acting so independently of one another, when in fact - because few whites have real black friends - they don't realize they're repeating the same racist dogma as a collective unit. I see it in the media:

Lovely woman, if a bit of a prima donna.

And there it is, amongst conservatives I consider my friends online, like the Dust Bunny Queen:

I could take any of these guys in a fight.

They won't stop when we know where it comes from.

Wolf Blitzer's stupid and even he gets it.

President Obama certainly knows where it comes from, as well as his supporters, despite white's denials and claims of innocence.

How stupid is Wolf? He goes to the betrayer of two spouses for ethical guidance.

It's awful that, rather than acknowledge what whites have historically done, and vow to fight it (Newt, being a history professor, more than most) whites defend themselves, and usually pick another fight, in a misguided effort to keep themselves from looking like the ugly Americans they can't imagine everyone else already sees them as.

He's Dunn.

And it is getting ugly.

"Happiness is a warm, yes it is,…."

6 to 1, people, 6 to 1 - online and off in a world filled with distractions - what are the possible ramifications of that? Give it everything you've got and, God damn it, think:

Is it hard, being the voice of discontent, while trying to bring us together?

Alright, I'm tired. You might consider showing you understand when - despite white claims to the contrary - somebody black does care enough to try and speak honestly, despite white hostility, to get you there. I mean, I ain't no Desmond Tutu, but I'm also not NotquiteunBuckley's "race hustler" who "just wants to line his pockets, profit, from American injustice" either.

I roomed with this guy for a while - didn't work out, though he wasn't racist.

I'm just a black guy, still trying to survive out here - or, if you want, you can look at it purely from a blogging perspective:

"It's a dirty job but someone's gotta  do it" - Faith No More

I'm the only motherfucking black Republican who's been aggressively hitting this pro-American shit, somewhere for y'all, for at least the last 96 motherfucking hours. And what do we call that again?

I'm Pretty Sure The Etymology Of "White" Is "Hypocrite"

White people talk a lot of shit to blacks, about responsibility, traditional values, the family, and taking care of business. But the message they send - about how they conduct their own lives - reveals how they,….conduct their own lives. This is how whites really think - as evidenced by how often I run across this exact same message in "white" media:

In my entire life, I've never seen that message coming from Ebony or Jet magazines - weird.

But, as usual, I really like how whites are like Nazis - constantly using the media to help each other PLAN on how to screw over their loved ones, the kids, society, who-or-whatever attended the wedding, bought a gift, pitched in to help, etc..

Like the French, they've got to plot against someone, right? Got enough money? (Maybe even the person's you're plotting against?  You HAVE been saving money to escape, that which you vowed to uphold, didn't you?) Great - then it's White Betrayal Time

I'ma haveta call Newt Gingrich for some "conservative" clarification on what we fucked-up blacks should take from this:

Because it ain't "Do The Right Thing",…

Newt Crushes NeoCon Critics Of Mandela's Communism

That racist idiot, Michael Haz, is now posting at Lem's Comment Home (more like The Racist Resting Home) trying to drum up sympathy for the unfortunate whites who ruthlessly dominated South African blacks since the 1600s. After being amazed at how much sympathy Lem's crew can regularly muster for the world's bad actors, I remembered Haz's charge, that Nelson Mandela's ties to communism - not the white's own actions - have brought them to this pass, has been answered by none other than Newt Gingrich:

Michael Haz, Sixty Grit, Shouting Thomas, and all the others who think blacks should choose death over going against white domination, can't see anything. And that includes themselves, over there at white-assed Lem's, talking only to their white-assed selves, about how wonderful their white outlook is, even though no one who isn't white agrees it's even a little practical when it comes to being used against them.

They were never a part of this and, personally, I'm glad:

Nothing would happen with 'em.

It's time to face the music:

Or A Surprise (Depending How You Want To Look At It)

Hey, marriage fans, they've started a new contest:
"And the award for Getting to the High Ground While Ditching Your Spouse Who Got Cancer goes to Catherine Zeta-Jones."
Let's see, Newt, John Edwards, Catherine Zeta-Jones = both sexes and getting younger - which has to mean only one thing, NewAgers:

Everybody gets a prize,...

Scaredy Pants

I'm sorry to do Hitch twice in a row, but I got to thinking about this week, and how I've heard it repeatedly said NSA officials answers were much like what we got on the war. Those statements are always premised on some idea the answers we had were wrong. In wartime, how this cloud of propaganda survives is a much more interesting, important, and immediate question to me than what (I knew) the NSA's doing, because if everybody's living a lie, talking about it is pointless. And this is getting pretty pointless.

With Hitch, working forward from the start of this madness, you could peel away each non-scandal like an onion - each underlying non-scandal (Iraq!) as the basis for the next - until we get to this week, when the character of some Americans has been revealed to still be French. A small, corrupt people, imagining themselves great warriors for attacking their protectors (In France, they had TWO strikes this week! Hurt the country, changed nothing. Felt good.) That's us now.

Any fool can see, now, these cowards are using one hand as a cup.

They're pushovers, and delusional, but it's one that's as strong as the enemy's:

Let's hope they cancel each other out...

They Don't Think It'll Ever Happen (But It's Coming,...)

If God is everywhere, and all-powerful, and all that, then why does he always need help?
"Newt Gingrich Wants to Protect Some Religions More Than Others"

And aren't you glad we had a "Mormon Moment" in this country, where everyone said they're just like us?
"New Website Encourages Mormons To 'Help' Loved Ones Into Ex-Gay Therapy"

Don't be surprised if Mormons are like a lot of Americans now - a lot of Americans are weird now:
"Americans believe a lot of conspiracy theories"

Remember that killing in Libya that Ann Althouse and others were *positive* was a government cover-up? Remember how they got everybody all hot-and-bothered? Did you also notice how they quietly dropped it, and now pretend they aren't crazy? It's infuriating to me:
"I will carry that rage and indignation to my grave. No forgiveness necessary."

Only when we start holding those pushing misinformation in contempt, at least, will I be happier,...

They're All In A Yoga Pose Wondering What Went Wrong

'Bobby Jindal wanted very, very much to be Vice President. He appeared publicly with Governor Romney after the 47 per cent comments, which the governor himself said were totally wrong.
Newt Gingrich made it clear to us he wanted to be part of a Romney administration.
Both these guys - and others - were the governor's best friend when it seemed he was on the brink of becoming our 45th President. Now they're calling him a bum. Real profiles in courage.' -- An anonymous adviser to Mitt Romney, on the ethical underpinnings of the Republican establishment, but now naming names.
This is a righteous beef, and the Romney camp has every right to say it - though the folks who tried to bamboozle us, crying their candidate is being used, is still kinda weak:

Mitt Romney's duplicitous campaign resulted in duplicity - duh - good work, Igor.

I almost want to add "Does it hurt?" but that's not what this is about - just as it's not about Bobby Jindal or Newt Gingrich. I am a Republican, and this is about the real world vs. the one many wanted to see.

You simply can't win in one without acknowledging the other.

To me, this has always been about considering what may be a "transcendental" bit o' understanding - of how beliefs clutter the landscape - to lead us not just astray, but into disarray. I expect few will listen.

So - mapping out their current trajectory of accomplishments - on the next episode of Political Wilderness - A Cavalcade Of Conventional Thinkers:

Our leadership's stuck on the outskirts of nowhere, and getting no closer to civilization, while considering massage therapy to undo all their much-too-tightly-wound knots,...

It's So Black & White It Takes A Colored Man To See It, II

O.K., depression subsided, thanks to this slowed-down Lenny Kravitz track (provided by, my man, J.T.Slice) so let's continue to wander through the fields, even if these aren't made of joy:

Nazi Germany. That ending to the last post is as good a starting point for this one as any. Mention the Nazis and, online, the scream of Godwin's Law goes up. I find this silly because, when most think of the Nazis, they think of the end of the war (when mothers would rather kill their children than allow reality to reach them as the Americans arrived) and not it's beginnings - what stupid (especially "spiritual") ideas led to the Nazis gaining power. And to people being willing to kill. They were the same.

These ideas - marching under the Tibetan banner for "good luck" the Nazis never delivered - were directly from German paganism. Ask the Dalai Lama, maybe.

Snarky "I don't care" anti-Newt Gingrich video text aside (I know - he's an over-sexed hypocritical nutjob - none-the-less) NewAge IS paganism. The Nazi's were pagans, but - though we defeated Adolf Hitler - we never defeated the ideas that animated the Nazis, like the slogan of the Hitler Youth, "Mind, Body, Spirit," which is now everywhere, used for the quack-end of NewAge's "alternative" medicine movement without shame. As the people who defeated the Nazis, we have become seriously ahistorical a-holes not to have figured that one out.

Remember the woman in the last post, Susan Lambert, insisting on torturing her dogs through the use of homeopathy? She would've fit into the Third Reich, no problem - listen to Hitler's deputy, Dr. Rudolph Hess, defend it as well:

"The new Germany considers it politically necessary to proceed in the verification of all phenomena whatsoever. However, certain physicians have not hesitated to attack and reject not only new therapies but also others whose origins go back to a distant past - as is today the case with homeopathy — without even making the effort to subject these therapies to serious examination. For this reason, I have taken under my protection the XII International Congress of Homeopathy in Berlin, to express the interest of the National Socialist State in all modes of therapies that are useful to the people´s health."

Considering the state of Susan Lambert's dogs, that's some "help," huh? (I just told you about this kind of "help" in Part I,...) And notice the lie that homeopathy's pre-science "origins go back to a distant past"? He's harking back to paganism but homeopathy was really invented in 1796. And the claim "physicians have not hesitated to attack and reject not only new therapies but also others whose origins go back to a distant past - as is today the case with homeopathy — without even making the effort to subject these therapies to serious examination" is still as popular today as it was then - especially amongst Whole Foods shoppers. They simply can't talk themselves into escaping this nonsense. But doctors can:

Freedom of Information requests by [General Practitioner] magazine found that one in seven of PCTs in England paid for homeopathy services in 2011/12. The number of PCTs funding homeopathy has fallen by a quarter since 2010/11, when one in five trusts funded it, and by half since 2008/9, when a third of trusts provided funding for it.
A total of 116 out of 152 PCTs responded to GP's request for data about trusts' 2010/11 and 2011/12 expenditure on services involving homeopathy. Previous GP research found 34% of PCTs funded it in 2008/9.
PCTs said homeopathy was now classified as a low priority because of poor evidence for its clinical effectiveness.
Two trusts withdrew funding after the House of Commons science committee said in 2010 that the NHS should not fund it. Another two said they planned to stop funding in 2012/13.

As The National Review's Jonah Goldberg reminded us:
"Many of the progressive and holistic ideas that lie at the heart of today’s lifestyle Left, the environmental Left, and the New Age movement share numerous unquestioned philosophical, emotional, and practical similarities with the intellectual and cultural currents that fed into and sustained Nazism."

But, while it's mostly the Left, it's not only the Left. See, the dirty little secret of World War II is the Germans were normal, but just operating under a particular set of beliefs, circumstances, and holding a whole lot of false assumptions, just as many are today.

Bad economy? Check. Racial ideas and hatreds - with an emphasis on anti-semitism? Check. Nostalgia for a "pure" and "natural" time that never existed? Check. A distrust of logic and ("Big Pharma") medicine? Check. Paganism, unquestioned, and running rampant? Check and double check.

I could go on. Oh shoot, I will:

Well, "golly gosh," as the Mormons say - that explains the black thing! - let's go even further:

In 2009, Mitt Romney, who is now trying to campaign for president as a moderate, lent his star power to an unusual charitable project: celebrating right-wing talk show host Glenn Beck to raise money for an unaccredited Utah-based college, which was founded by acolytes of the late W. Cleon Skousen and promoted the work of this fringe conservative figure. Much-touted by Beck, Skousen was an anti-communist crusader, a purported political philosopher, a historian accused of racist revisionism, and a right-wing conspiracy theorist. He contended that the Founding Fathers were direct descendants of the Lost Tribes of Israel, claimed that a global cabal of bankers controlled the world from behind the scenes, and wrote a book that referred to the "blessings of slavery." Skousen, who died in 2006, taught Romney at Brigham Young University.
Five years ago, the conservative National Review referred to Skousen as an "all-around nutjob."
Romney recalled taking a class at BYU on the Bible taught by Skousen, whom he called "a brilliant man and a wonderful story teller."

It’s quickly becoming the story of the election season. Every day there’s a new report of bosses putting pressure on employees to vote for Mitt Romney or very bad things will happen. The threats range from job loss to wage cuts, and the Gilded Age-style strong-arming shows no signs of slowing.
Most recently, we’ve learned that Arthur Allen, CEO of ASG Software Solutions, sent an email to workers with the following subject line: “Will the US Presidential election directly impact your future jobs at ASG? Please read below.”
David Siegel, the billionaire founder of Westgate Resorts, has been playing the worker intimidation game. So have the Koch brothers, sending anti-Obama voter materials to 45,000 employees of their Georgia Pacific subsidiary (thanks to AlterNet’s Adele Stan for bringing us that story). In Michigan, the president of Lacks Enterprises warned his company’s 2,300 employees that their paychecks will shrink if Obama is re-elected.
On a June conference call to the National Federation of Independent Businesses, Mitt Romney himself enthusiastically pushed the tactic:
“I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe is in the best interest of your enterprise and therefore their job and their future in the upcoming elections.”

Of course, the response of the conservative National Review to this clear manipulation - seeing how they're backing Romney for president despite knowing he's insane - can be summed up best by the words, "I don't care." But roll it all together and what you get - from the Left and the Right - is what we have now:

A clusterfuck of bad ideas, hurtling us towards disaster, but with no "America" to stop us, as we stopped Nazi Germany, because it is now America caught in it's tailwind. We are the nation of loonies.

As I said when I started this, "we live in,…a crazy, cult-infested, pseudo-intellectual wasteland," and the reason for that is we're the long-term recipients of some very-bad-and-yet-still-unquestioned ideas, all defended by the words "I don't care." Being stupid is now part of our cultural DNA.

Come on - even if it's not true and never will be for a million years - do you think you can talk one of these self-proclaimed "smart and independent" women out of the cockamamy belief that "everything happens for a reason"? Good luck. The kind the Germans had. These women's minds are trapped.

Trapped in non-existent "ancient teachings," as false as homeopathy - as Hess said - "whose origins go back to a distant past." Challenge these NewAge women and the farthest you're going to get, concession-wise, is "I don't care." They are determined to believe it. And will defend it to the death.

This is our own cultish thinking in action - and it is easily exploitable - as they, and many others, have already been exploited. We live in the modern age, but we have barely evolved at all:

This is what's been happening to us.

And - just like in World War II - it's becoming difficult to find an escape.

We're simply lost, if we don't start paying attention, to our own lack of attention,…
