Six Six Six

My Nephew Wants to Use a Cursed Family Heirloom to Propose.
Howard Stern says Bill Maher 'ought to shut his mouth' after the HBO host criticized the shock jock's on-air praise of current "wife" Beth Stern: 'I think I'm no longer friends with him' Howard said. All of this after decades of Howard's on-air praise for his first "wife", Alison Berns (above), which we all not only had to listen to, but was even once celebrated in a Hollywood movie - unlike whatever domestic bliss he currently demands we know he currently enjoys. Face it, Howard: second marriages are an obvious social hypocrisy, and abandoning people who get tired of you, forcing them to acknowledge that fact, is not going to make it go away.

Let's Get All Caught-Up: This Blog"s Right (And It's The World That's Wrong) #2

So, I hope we’ve established that, by 2008, this blog, and others, were already aware of (and concerned about) anti-vaccinationists, when few others were, including most of the media. Thirteen years ago, Antivaxx was a leftist movement, so no one cared. That's how the world worked. When this started, NewAgers were open about what they did. There was no COVID-19 back then, and Donald Trump wasn’t on the political radar for NewAgers in the news media (or like early anti-vaccine activist Jim Carrey, years later, on SNL) to use as a scapegoat.
But, The NewAge Movement and Oprah Winfrey (a journalist, and thus, a part of the media) were there. Oprah was even campaigning with Barack Obama, long after she’d been promoting anti-vaccinationists, homeopathy, and much, much more like them - practically the entire pantheon of the NewAge Movement - UFO nut, Shirley MacLaine, included. And the media said NOTHING critical about her, what she was doing, or the con artist's tools she was using. Unlike Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey was embraced with open arms for spreading misinformation and pseudoscience. And she always has been. Excused, even. Seth Macfarlane mentioned it in 2018. Meghan and Harry (two NewAgers) probably used her, in 2019, for that very reason. Few dare question what Oprah’s been buying (into) and/or selling, no matter how bogus it is. And - at it's core - it's almost all bogus.
It's the same with Howard Stern and Transcendental Meditation - the quackery, cult, and fraud - as he's allowed the radio waves to freely badger Aaron Rodgers, which is also totally bogus: why do Howard and Oprah and Jim Carrey get a pass, when they're snacking from the same, dangerous, NewAge smorgasbord?
Thankfully, Howard and the rest of the media are still talking about Rodgers, but all of them have already stopped talking about the 200-year old phenomena of homeopathy, that all of Rodgers' problems sprang from. Nothing on the pharmacies selling it (or how they get away with doing that) or the billions of believers around the world, or the French company that makes it (or how France recently called homeopathy a "grave error") or Prince Charles being homeopathy's patron in the UK, or what any of that means, because the focus is staying exclusively on Aaron Rodgers lying to the NFL. So the fact he lied in the service of homeopathy is ignored - even by Joe Rogan. The fact homeopathy is water with a belief system attached - that causes people to lie about it - is being ignored by just about everyone. What role a NewAge media's self-imposed ignorance is playing, in screwing up society, is also not being examined, at all. In a media-saturated nation. There's only one message we're getting, from everywhere, on the left and right, all day long, in the western world:

And, as you can see, The NewAge Movement's been really taking it to heart.

Let's Get All Caught-Up: This Blog"s Right (And It's The World That's Wrong) #1

(The radio host ripped the Green Bay Packers quarterback for lying about his COVID vaccine status)

Where to begin? If you want to pull back the curtain, “Howard Stern” is the obvious choice, because - not only does his name open the damn thing - but TMR wrote of him as a member of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s Transcendental Meditation cult (as well as Howard’s personal fall-out from all that) going all the way back to 2008.

Plus, this headline is from The Huffington Post, which (also in 2008) TMR noted was “
A Warehouse For Wackos”. Why give (cult leader Arianna Huffington's) "HuffPo" that title - all the way back in 2008? It wasn't just because other cult members, like Howard Stern, appeared in it. Here’s the direct quote - from “a cancer surgeon and NIH-funded cancer investigator” - that instigated my actions:

“Within three weeks of its formation, I had noticed a very disturbing aspect of the Huffington Post, and that was that it appeared to be providing a major soapbox for antivaccinationists,..."

Emphasis mine. So, what were you thinking about in 2008? What about now? Or what are you being told to think? Or how to think it? The links, above, are just a bit of evidence (real world proof) that The Crack Emcee's head was screwed-on tight, waaay before everyone else's - because The NewAge Movement has never fooled TMR - not even when filtered through the Howard Stern's of the world. And, they don't have to fool anyone else, either. Just keep reading - and pass it along to someone else: I'm breaking it all down, now, right here (To Be cont'd,...).

Animal Farm (Convincing The Sheep To Stay Healthy,...)

I woke up this morning thinking about the difference between the charade that passes for civilized society and the real world, where people - the very people claiming to be good and attempting to make the rules for the rest of us - are merely orchestrating things to their benefit as they get away with murder.

It was George Orwell who said, "In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act," and "a time of universal deceit" is exactly where we are now. The truth merely slips out, with most working to keep it hidden for as long as possible, hoping to pull the wool over our eyes.

I spent a lot of time, yesterday, pondering Phillip K. Dick's statement that reality is what's left after you stop believing in it, and coming to terms with the fact that poor, doomed, Anne Frank was wrong - that despite everything, people AREN'T really really good at heart - because, while "Facts change, people don’t" and so evil is what I'm left with, when I stop fooling myself about those around me:

The innate goodness of people being the only thing I ever dared even trying to "believe" in.

No, in order to stay oriented, I've got to give up my dreams of "a better life," and join them in the gutter - at least mentally, and, at least, for now - keeping quiet as they rejoice over each golden nugget, that's really a kernel of corn from last night's dinner.

Ahh, Adolf Hitler would've loved the game of it. What's the old saying? "America eats it's young"?

Hey - that explains the switch to organics!

On Faith Healing, Fishnets, And Featherdusters

I lost a friend of 20+ years today, for being "negative" and "mean" about meditation and chakras, which just reinforces for me how selfish people become when they enter the delusional world of the NewAge. Friends, family - nothing must come between them and their stupid beliefs. ("God is a ham sandwich" is a belief - you gonna cop to that?)

Take this creep, Braco The Gazing Healer, that Howard Stern is talking about above:

Women are throwing themselves (and their money) at this loser with a bad haircut and no one - no one - can talk them out of it.

And all he's doing is looking at them! (Let any other guy do that and they'll be ready to file a restraining order.) Speaking of stupid shit you can't talk women out of, let's go to Toronto:

Hear! Hear! Way to go, Canadian women! You are the epitome of intelligence! Now that we've got THAT out of the way, will someone please begin convincing those cows that French maid outfits are the ultimate in "empowerment" please? Braco? Come on, dude:

Your fellow man is counting on you!

Betrayal, Betrayal, And More Betrayal, With Meditation And NewAge Spirituality At The Center Of The Whole Damn Thing

"I remember being like, 'That isn't my dad. Who is this?' Then once I reached the age when it was maybe acceptable to listen ... it really just wasn't what I was interested in, in seeing my dad that way, and also the content."

As a child, Emily first performed in the choir at her Reform temple in Roslyn, N.Y., where she sang at children's services and Jewish camp. She continued to perform in high school; but studying acting at New York University did not mesh well with her intuitive approach to theater, she said.

She further felt lost then, she said, because her parents had recently divorced: "All the time there was my dad on the radio with women, doing whatever, I had such a strong knowingness and belief in my parents' marriage," she said. "The loss of that bond between mother and father -- I can't tell you how shattering that was."

Asked if she foresaw the divorce, the actress responded, "Living this character on the radio, there's only so much you can say, 'It's not me' before you embody it -- I think that's a bit of what happened." She said she has come to understand that her father has been in the process of "integrating all selves," which is important for every person to do.

After graduating from NYU, however, Stern said she "was spiritually at a point of real distress." Besides the loss of her family life -- including the celebration of Jewish holidays with all her grandparents -- she felt artistically uninspired until she was cast in the play "Kabbalah," at the Jewish Theatre of New York. The religious satire touched on celebrity obsession with Jewish mysticism, and Stern was cast as the female lead, pop superstar Madonna. Since the play involved revelation, the cast was required to appear nude at the end of the show.

Despite her father's warnings that the press would have a field day if Howard Stern's daughter performed naked, she said she accepted the role because she loved the production. Then "Kabbalah" received a terrible review in The New York Times and nude pictures of her surfaced on the Web. Emily said the director broke his promise to her by using her image and singling her out as Howard Stern's daughter for promotional purposes. She quit the show, the director spoke out against her in the press and Howard Stern's attorneys threatened to file a lawsuit in order to stop the director from continuing to trash her, she said.
