Cool! There used to be a group of college kids here who did percussion/spoken word sets at the local bars -- they played everything from a homemade kodo style drum to a clay jug, and they took requests (talk about original covers -- you never knew what they'd do with a song, which was a large part of the fun).
There are a lot of very talented, creative people out there who only get a small audience -- I don't know if a person should be happy (that they got to witness them) or terribly sad (that more people don't, and said person doesn't get the acclaim they deserve). Art is a bitterweet bitch.
