They See It But They Don't See It (And That's A God Damned Shame)

"We’ve lost touch with our real story, which is about us,...castoffs, screwups, and cultists from other countries."

Slaves Are Still Singing Spirituals With Double Meanings

"The treatment of enslaved Black people was generally characterized by degradation, dehumanization, and fatal brutalities. The violent tactics of whippings, rapes and executions was a normal way of life for them. Men were stripped of any form of pride and self respect by being humiliated in front of his family. Women were often taken from their husbands and raped at their owner’s discretion which further diminished the black man’s sense of self worth as well as the woman’s self esteem (Dubois, The Souls Of Black Folk, 1903).

The brutal treatment of Black people continued well after slavery legally ended, through the days of Jim Crow, Civil Rights, and, to a certain extent today. The trauma caused by this psychological brutality resulted in severe damaged to the mind of the victims, which manifested as an identity crisis, self hate,  low self worth, and  a distrust of the world at large. This mentality has been passed down through generations.

Today, conditions such as low socioeconomic status, social deprivation, inadequate education, high unemployment, and the criminal industrial complex has reinforced this negative mentality, which has and  still affects behavior in the Black community today, including young black boys."

And all in the name of "Freedom",...

Black Bedtime Stories (Before The Turkey Day Disaster)

Some perspective, in case anybody wants to insist on the delusion that black slaveowners, white slaves, or free blacks were some major phenomena:

Flash-forward, to my birth, 100 years after The Civil War (when, supposedly, all the bad stuff ended) and white society still hadn't come to it's senses - while claiming they were behaving normally. Whites still worked over-time, before "Say It Loud - I'm Black And I'm Proud!" trying to convince blacks like me we were the ones with the problem. They expect to walk away from that decades-long mindfuck, without it being mentioned, too.

You see, they want my help in claiming everything happened long ago.

And now, somehow, we're supposed to buy the story blacks should be happy and/or satisfied watching whites posing as authorities on everything - but, especially, justice, ethics and (as the divorce and adultery rate shows) morality - while openly spending the money blacks made once whites gave themselves a multi-century free ride.

Or is it that we should just take our lumps and let them go about their business?

Either way, what a weird thing to expect us to be thankful for,...

When Other's Poverty Makes You Too Proud To Shut-Up

I swear - every year - Glenn Reynolds brags more than Kanye with new nudes of Kim:

See? People from slave states* assume their code is slick:

Glenn's really admitting they'll have two turkeys at the table.

At least, there will be, at any one he's sitting at.

*And that, my friends, was today's Nigger, Neener, Neener, Neener,...

New Age Promise: There Will Be No Left-Overs

This year, before the across-the-table, politically-partisan, intra-family laughter begins, TMR would like to give thanks for the slim-and-trim NewAgers who will be attending as the butt of our jokes.

After having provided us fatties with a year's worth of non-stop entertainment by ignoring the obvious (NewAge "thinking" is stupidity writ large) and going for it anyway, we want to remind NewAgers we tried to stop them for a long, long time, but it was they who insisted on going down this "path":
Houdini died of peritonitis in 1926, at the crest of his fame. Yet long after that final disappearance, he inspired works by a slew of painters and sculptors....Still, Houdini’s most valuable legacy is not for artists or magicians like Penn and Teller, James Randi, and David Copperfield, who do their own great escapes, obviously influenced by the Master. It is for the credulous public.

Throughout his professional life, Houdini had no illusions about his talent. He always assured onlookers that no matter how miraculous his tricks appeared to be, they were actually earthbound, consisting of muscular contortions, lock-picking skills, inventive gimmicks, and misdirection. He did his best to expose charlatans who claimed that their magic came from occult sources. One of his colorful posters is succinct: DO SPIRITS RETURN? HOUDINI SAYS NO—AND PROVES IT. In an epoch when programs like
Paranormal State and Psychic Kids are watched by millions of naive viewers, healthy skepticism is in short supply.
Yes, Sir. Since 1926.

By 2010, for waaay too many believers, black was white, up was down, left was right, and there was nothing - absolutely nothing - anyone could say to change their minds, because (as we personally discovered) NewAgers had ruthlessly self-programmed themselves to "change" only the politics of others:
It seems that whenever you hear about a "rightwing" hate crime nowadays, it turns out the the perpetrator turns out to be a leftwinger...much to the disappointment of liberals who continue to maintain the fiction about a violent Tea Party movement.
This was, of course, predicted by the former KGB agent, Yuri Bezmenov, after the Soviet Union sent him to study the (now very-popular) effects of yoga and meditation on the American Left. He was very clear about what they were up to - and how these contradictions would manifest themselves now:

So today, just as he said, we've been blessed with the spectacle of idiots calling Sarah Palin stupid, while giving balls-to-the-wall support to Oprah's "brilliant" choice for president who (surprise!) can't seem to do even the simplest things correctly.

And let's not forget, all this comes after 8 years of the Left being repeatedly outsmarted by a president NewAgers insisted barely possessed the brains of a "chimp".

Good times.

Yes, for all their self-implanted mantras about their own self-awareness, and the billions they've spent on Self-Help (which, for any thinking person, would be a clear sign of a problem) it's self-reflection that's so obviously in short supply, one can't help but be laughably appreciative of their efforts to look brainy when, quite obviously, their brains are the only thing they haven't been taking much care in stretching - while the rest of us were growing our guts.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

All that time at the yoga studio has really paid off:

This year, you insure that every American table you grace has at least two turkeys for us to feast on.

Now let the laughter begin.

Rediscovering Humanity (In Our Animal Nature)

Now, here's a NewAger asking the right questions, and finally on the right "path":

Having made the click in my head, I wonder today how they will actually change the world with a breathing technique and call that “conflict resolution”? Again, I go back to the question: what about me did not allow me to see through it all, and instead, just like my peers, found ways to justify the politics, the nasty things that went on behind the scenes, and the magical gullible thinking?
"Nasty things"? Ooooh, do tell.

Nah, we're joking. But now that you've snapped out of it, what do you think of "things"?

Recognizing I once belonged to a cult and helped promote it comes with a lot of sensations that range from anger to shame.
Yea, that can be a drag - most people won't understand your anger for a while - but it (slowly) goes away. We think it's grand that you can already do what so many others can't - call a cult a "cult" - and not pussyfoot around with it. That alone is a sign of extreme progress. If only the rest of the "progressives" could join you. But, alas, they're still too trapped - trying to avoid hurting each other's "feelings" - to flat-out tell the truth. But not you. You've survived and prospered. You're back. And we're, oh, so glad to know that.

With the real you "you" again, this is probably going to be the best Thanksgiving ever!
