Why Are We Here?

When blogging works, it matters - like the music Jazz and Country legends used to make - so blogs should always be written with purpose. But, of course, to make that worthwhile, blogging also requires readers with purpose. I get few comments here, so I rarely know if I've got that. PayPal helps, though.

This ain't Entertainment City, Bitch - it's The Macho Response - so (taking Gwyneth Paltrow's admonition, in the header above, as a guide) you should arrive here asking the main, if only, question: "What are we 'Responding' to TODAY?"

Politics is huge. If you've traveled a lot, you know people get it wrong, all around the planet. They critique what they can't grasp, in a partisan environment, filled with activists, keeping the truth from them or filling them full of bullshit. TMR relies on facts, cross-referenced for accuracy, and forget what the assholes say. They're liars. All of them. To this day, can the average person say why the U.S. invaded Iraq? Or why it all went wrong? (During the 1st invasion, Colin Powell got George "Poppy" Bush to break our promise to rid the Iraqis of Saddam - this necessitated a 2nd invasion. By the time George W. Bush did it, Saddam had fucked people up so bad, they did NOT appreciate seeing us - even if Iraq did have WMD and were harboring terrorists - which they did and were). "The problem with Michael Jackson"? Trump getting robbed? You're only gonna "get" it here.

Religion is another biggie. If you're old enough to have witnessed the Moon Landing - but still believe in "the man in the sky" (and his kid) after that event reduced him to "a higher power" from now on - then you need to leave. Now. This is probably not the place for you. That's all that's needed to be said.

NewAge "Spirituality" is the ultimate evil today - it is to religion what bullshit is to lying. It's the next step on the ladder to lunacy. And, thanks to Oprah, we - as a culture - have already blindly taken it. To our everlasting regret. Not only will nothing ever be normal again, but now - thanks to the Queen of daytime TV in the '90s - we have to worry if it'll even be livable as well. She's turned the entiure world culture off to science, medicine, realitionships and reality, so - can she do any more damage to us? Of course she can - she's as corrosive as the Nazis - which brings me to,...

Race - a sore spot, complicated even more, now that Oprah Winfrey's trying to legitimize rapists as black heroes, after we already did that once, with Martin Luther King, Jr.. America's a nation that raised it's citizens to think as King did - everyone's the same - even though blacks and Indians are treated different. Now, long after King's murder, blacks and Indians insist we're different, and it's conservatives demanding everyone stick to thinking we're all the same - even though nobody treats us that way. Mindfucking black and Indian U.S. citizens, for our whole lives, requires reparations. Nothing more. Apology included.

The rest of TMR is all sciencemusic, art, and culture - the stuff of life - and fuck just about anything else. I just don't have the time.

Questions Liberals Refuse To Ask (And The Answer They Don't Want)

”Now that President Trump's current attorney, Rudy Giuliani, has told us in a nationally televised interview on NBC's Meet the Press that 'truth isn't truth,' we are left to determine for ourselves what 'truth' actually means….That's not as easy, especially when Trump is constantly bombarding us with documentable lies that seem designed to confuse and distract us.”

"Trump is constantly bombarding us with documentable lies", huh? Hmmm. Did President Trump scream "No Blood For Oil!" all the way through the Iraq War? If not - who did, and where's all that oil? Was that claim "designed to confuse and distract us"? And, if so, who was distracting us and from what? Are they still?

And - if anyone bought into that - has any liberal corrected their view of American politics, before "moving on" to the next crisis they're screaming we should care about? And, are they any more correct about this one, than they were about Iraq?

Does misinforming the public, about that conflict, bother anyone who's liberal?

Nah, I know my country - that's "This American Life" - and business as usual.

It's Whitey's Fault Blacks Are So Unhappy (But It's Black People's Fault That We're Not Stating It Clearly Enough)*

Except for white people who put their stuff online for consumption and critique - politicians, journalists, bloggers, cultists, artists, etc. - there is no white person on the planet that can say The Crack Emcee follows them around, "correcting" what they say, or that I have anything more than a casual, passing interest in white people's lives (as "white people's lives") at all. Back-in-the-day, sure - my recordings reveal that - but not since I started TMR. I've fought racism (without making it my deal) in whichever direction it flew, and there is an abundance of evidence to back me up.

I, on the other hand, have a virtual army of white people who seem to have made it their duty to make sure I don't get (or am capable of spreading) the wrong ideas. If I do, they speak up - not only to "correct" me but, I guess, to let me know they're there. They monitor my "progress" as a conservative and a black, by following me around the web, reminding me of what their interpretation is or was, of whatever they think I once said, sometime. (That's even hard to write, much less, think.)

Interesting crowd, these guys - and they're all guys. They take what I write and - rather than deal with what I write or ask why I wrote it as I did - they trumpet their assumptions that, based on conventional wisdom, they KNOW why I wrote it and by God it's ______.

Yet they know me so well!

Right now, see, I'M obsessed with race. ME. That's been told to me over and over - what I'M doing - and it has to stop.

This has never been a "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" situation at all. And there are no very-real cultish, tribal, moving, evolving racial dynamics at play in this country for TMR to finally deal with now. No, no, no. I've been hiding my true intentions all along. You know, like white people "speak in code" (wink).

So now, finally, I'm coming clean - get ready:

It was The Crack Emcee who shot Trayvon Martin - and I did it because I'M obsessed with wanting to get this conversation going (and as a way for ME to chase all the evil, money-donating white people from TMR - right as my spine got hurt - just before I could fulfill my not-hardly-long-awaited dream of debuting some of my new music) - and it's worked spectacularly.

I want to ask everyone reading this who's white - do you have your own personal NSA? Your own mini-counter-propaganda organs? It's flattering.

But it's also a bit like I'm still living in France, where every time I said "Hi" to an arab, the whispering would start amongst the whites. "What is he up to?" They never let up the pressure, either, or understood my dastardly intentions, no matter how many times I explained them. I'll tell you guys what they were, now, because (in hindsight) they're kinda funny:

The arabs I spoke to usually A) had a food stand or small restaurant that was open outside of the French's pre-prescribed hours for eating B) seemed to be happy Americans don't get hungry "on time" C) appreciated that arab food is a good and spicy fast food change from something slathered in white sauce that'll give me food poisoning, again, and D) that I liked a conversational environment where I didn't feel like I'd be kidnapped during the Iraq War.

Bullshit. That couldn't be it. Not according to the white French. They had their assumptions and they were sticking to them, spreading them to anybody else in the village who'd listen. And some of those, occasionally, pulled me aside "as a friend" - totally out of the blue - to offer "advice" about how to deal with all the commotion I'd caused. Me.

Because I got a snack.

I ask you, white people, does any of this sound like a person being allowed to live a "normal" life, to you?

On behalf of TMR - the project I have to respond to the nonsense that plagues us, black and white - I would highly suggest to you, the answer is "NO" and all I'm doing, now, is everything in my power to prove it...

*Ain't it great how - if the title opens with "Whitey" immediately - the blog's numbers go up?

That's my fault, too.

Me and my damned obsessions,...

A Cheap Two Points & A Jersey Hanging On The Rafters

I wish I'd written this consideration, when I originally thought it, but I didn't. The man's playing basketball, where - as Michael Jordan said - a win is a win. That makes sense.

What doesn't make sense - which I also considered and haven't spoken of - is why, when we discuss the Iraq War, Christopher Hitchens' argument isn't the dominate one,...

I Have A Message For The G.O.P. They Won't Like At All

I wrote about the silly neener, neener, neener bullshit the Right is using on Obama - trying to pass it off as politics - and it looks like they're sticking to it:

Thank you, Captain Obvious - I mean, Charles. So - now what?

By almost all accounts, this situation is identical to what Bush was facing, which should mean we back this president as we did the previous one, does it not?

I don't know, because our biggest brains - obviously still sore over getting beaten twice by "The Choom Gang" - are too busy playing "Gotcha!" to form a coherent thought on any matter of importance.

So what's my "burning message" to my party?

You've heard it before:

Get your fucking act together and GROW-THE-FUCK-UP,....

I Take Donations (With Promise Of Bang For Your Buck)

It's sad to discover people in politics don't understand the obvious already, but it's grand to see someone (else, besides myself) admitting the worth of college professors:
“I am in this business to win. I don’t know why you are in it. I am in this to win,” Christie said at the luncheon, his first appearance a meeting of the RNC.
“I think we have some folks who believe that our job is to be college professors,” he said. “Now college professors are fine I guess. Being a college professor, they basically spout out ideas that nobody does anything about. For our ideas to matter we have to win.
Because if we don’t win, we don’t govern. And if we don’t govern all we do is shout to the wind. And so I am going to do anything I need to do to win.”
Christie also appeared to rap Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, another potential White House hopeful who made headlines in January when he implored the GOP to “stop being the stupid party.”
"I'm not going to be one of these people who goes around and calls our party stupid,” Christie said, a startling remark given that Jindal and Christie work hand-in-hand as chairman and vice-chairman of the Republican Governors Association.
“We need to stop navel gazing," he added. "There's nothing wrong with our principles. We need to focus on winning again. There's too much at stake for this to be an academic exercise. We need to win and govern with authority and courage."

O.K., Folks, there's your Clinton Coronation Killer. He can do it and he's up for the game. Now, are you going to be the libs during Iraq and try to screw the pooch for y(ourselves), or will you finally rip the weakened Hilldabeast - specifically as the Democrats' vile "feminist" leader - a new one?

Fuck the Instapundit and his petty, antiseptic political anemia, and fuck Ann Althouse's vile Gay Womyn's Chorus - it's been two election cycles, and they've proven they don't get it, and never will.

Walk with me now - I understand scams.

Ann & Glenn? Great couple of Amazon salespeople, though you must admit one thing:

Helping them out - even "at no cost to you" - has never implied you'll ever get anything more,...
