NewAge Occultism: It's Alive, Political, And Ugly

"To really grasp the religious development of our nation, its occult movements and believers must be understood for what they are: communities of belief, who left a profound impact on the culture of America and the modern world."

-- Mitch Horowitz, author of "Occult America: The Secret History of How Mysticism Shaped Our Nation", making the case that NewAge occultism is the most important influence being ignored in America - which is the same argument this blog has been making, to it's elite's yawns, anger, and dismissal - but doing it in a review for the Huntington News.

The reviewer, David M. Kinchen, adds:

"Much of our often confusing (and confused) nation is best understood in the context of mystical movements in the U.S."

Amen. (Heh.) And, as the results of this occult-inspired presidency further proves, America continues to ignore this subject at it's own peril.
