Despite all the Stonehenge-y "spiritual" mumbo-jumbo, Glastonbury is a pretty good documentary on the history of England's oldest music festival. I'm currently looking for the Kaiser Chief's work, based on their performance of "Na Na Na Na Naa" in the film. I can't find it online, so you'll have to settle for the official video:
Good stuff. Fun Loving Criminals also had a good one. Good documentary,...
Looks interesting -- on Netflix? Hulu? Youtube?

I picked it up at the library. You've got to look for "Glasonbury (film)" online - as opposed to "Glastonbury documentary" - for some reason.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yeah, I figured that out -- saw a film on Youtube which amounted to some really, really drunk people (and possibly quite high) walking around, talking at Glastonbury with their cell phone or something.
ReplyDelete"I don't think this is it" -- would have watched it anyway, but the sound quality was awful, and they kept talking over people so much you couldn't make out what they were saying too well anyway. I can get that by going down to the local college Springfest, the annual college "celebration of multiculturalism, diversity, and the arts" (or as the townies call it "Reeferfest").
