To be honest, I don't know which is worse: the clinic workers who seem to be so supportive of this, or the women who go in (come on, after a certain point in a pregnancy you should probably just keep the baby -- or better yet, if you don't want a baby don't engage in the activities that cause one; it's the only fail safe thing to do; or maybe get yourself spayed if you just know you don't want kids but just can't restrain yourself, I don't know). I managed to go through the heady days of hormone poisoning without doing the nasty (chiefly because my dad would have killed me! that's a pretty good buzzkill right there); so far so good on my kids (for the same reasons) -- it really isn't that hard (but only works if society allows for the non-lenient parental approach, the sort of parents who really don't want to be "cool" or "best friends" with their kids...which of course can't happen...which is another thing that sorta keeps me up some nights).
Uh, no thanks, I'll pass (to both).
