Aaron Neville came on, and I thought, "Damn, that could be TMR's theme song."
At the time, I was doing some serious listening (as opposed to listening casually) and, lo and behold, Me'Shell Ndegéocello's Cookie: The Anthropological Mixtape came on - she's black, feminist, lesbian, supposedly-modern, all that - but I heard a very different message, including this one:
"I believe in things you can not see."
And there you go. That's why the the sexes are so fucked up, in a nutshell:
Women, putting their beliefs before reality, out of sheer arrogance.
"Tell it like it is"?
