Once I'd read this for the third time, and still found it funny, I figured I ought to post it:
French Finance Minister Pierre Moscovici said on Sunday that there has been "no change" in the country's 2013 growth forecast, after it appeared the figure had been revised downward.
"There was no change in the growth forecast as I have read it," the minister told journalists in Paris.
"I have not made any revision on the forecast of growth in France," he said.
Atta boy. I'm never sure which is more delusional:
The way French socialists keep hoping it'll work, or the way we're sold it is, despite all evidence.
I found some old photos I'd taken in France, so you'll be able to compare for yourselves,...
Love to see the old photos, but don't need to compare.
ReplyDeleteLa dolce vita, la bonne vie...either way, it isn't.
They've got some cool stuff over there, but the place is a museum...a museum that's not being taken care of and is ever so slowly crumbling.
I'll miss the chestnut trees, the pine trees, and the lavender fields (but we could possibly grow those over here -- I mean, if we're going to be their ark, at least make a smart choice make it for something really nice and unassuming as those lavender fields or the trees, which at least smelled really good...unlike 99% of their ideologies). I'll feel really sorry for some of the decent people I've met over there (granted, there are few).
