  1. That's actually a decent rebuttal. The Achilles' heel of any religion or philosophy is when it makes affirmative statements which are easily contradicted, will be rejected within a limited time frame, or can be reasonably dismissed. In fact, that is the principal criterion which distinguishes between science and philosophy (or religion): limited frame of reference. People would do well to remember that and not corrupt science. Their often wild or grand inferences about the character and nature of our universe are, while entertaining, also unseemly and counterproductive.

    Get to specific and you're a liar.

    Stay really vague ("A Higher Power") and you're worshiping nothing worth the effort.
