I replaced the words "the Clintons" with my online heroes and whatnot (I couldn't help it) and what do you know? It works:

TMR runs the scoop in its usual unbalanced, offensive way – but the problem jumps right off the page. Glenn Reynolds & Ann Althouse have never been able to separate the impulses to help others and to help themselves, turning noble philanthropic ventures into glitzy, costly promos,...and their "Ain't I Great?!" ethos attracts money for nothing with such naked abandon that it ends up compromising whatever moral crusade they happen to have endorsed that month.

That and the fact they can't stay on-point to save their lives. Yep, home remodeling paid for by working class people Ann calls "losers", as she chats on Bloggingheads with movers and shakers she wouldn't dare to offend. And Glenn, spouting off about $100,000 cars, while he reports on how badly the country is hurting. 

Not O.K. for Bill & Hillary (both Glenn and Ann have this story, posted without irony). They'll also nail Obama for any sign of a class faux pas, though (Golf! The hotels!) but it's Muy Bueno for the Right side of the blogosphere. Because it's Ann and Glenn. 

Since they average around $200,000 a year, apiece, Big Gun Glenn and Arid Room Annie ought to just get it over with and photograph themselves naked, rolling in dollar bills like Rappers. The bills can also spell out how they want you to vote.
