I Can't See Why It's Hard To Find Fraud In Government

"The degree to which nonsense has trickled down to every aspect of this office is astonishing... It's the only place where opinions are counted as equal to data."
- Barrie Cassileth, The Development of the Office of Alternative Medicine in the National Institutes of Health, 1991-1996, p.282.

  1. It's the government...they spent money on research to see if humans can bend spoons with their minds.
    And that's just for starters.

I've come to the conclusion that 1) people are corrupt and/or easily corruptible -- somebody gets a kickback; 2) people let emotions rule reason -- I think we did that damn spoons thing because the Russians did it first; 3) people really aren't all that brite -- bending spoons with mindthoughts, need we say more?

the guy or gal who calls bullshit on the most bullshit stuff gets my vote...and if none of them do, then I'm not voting
