Instapundit And Dr. Helen Can't Spot Quackery

It's no wonder he doesn't understand my blog:
THE INSTA-WIFE HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING SOME BACK PAIN, and wonders if this gadget can be as good as it’s cracked up to be. I’m inclined to say no, but does anyone know? It’s awfully pricey.
"Does anyone know?" Geez. This professor (and doctor) ought to be linking to me every day - they, and their readers, need me - and, instead, he and I are engaged in a stupid pissing match. The whole set-up is insane. "As good as it’s cracked up to be"?

Next, one of his readers suggests a chiropractor - WRONG - before another one suggests the humble heating pad, which is a better investment, but not as good as simply telling her to stop sitting in chairs so much, which (like the final suggestion they get) doesn't cost a dime. Incredible.

Note to Dr. Helen:

Try "sitting" like in the photo, above, as much as possible. Avoid chairs. And, please, don't start doing yoga.

Your back is fine, it's what you're doing with it that's messed up. Get better soon. - CMC
