I think I prefer what straight guys say about the skippycanoe (angst and anger and all) over this, and just be ok with not being just friends with them.
Straight guys may deep down inside hate my female guts, but at least they'll never be cold and bitchy about women (or at least our anatomy)-- unless they completely give into this brainwash -- which would be bad.

...and it's true: men and women can't be friends -- not in the sense that men and other men can be friends or things like that (being civil, friendly even, like doing somebody a solid is a whole other thing, but not friends friends; it doesn't work that way -- time for men and women to just deal with that; things would be better if they did -- nothing wrong with it, just is)
