So Much For En-LIGHT-enment

"I’ve always been attracted to things that are taboo. I’ve never been afraid to go to that dark place."

-- Ricky Williams, the troubled (and very confused) football star - and wannabe "N.F.L. Shaman" - letting the truth slip out (as all NewAgers do) while explaining his post-pot "spiritual" aspirations, in The New York Times.

  1. You have lived your life. Now, take what's left and live it properly. What doesn't transmit light creates its own darkness.

  2. Dude, have you ever heard of "white heat"? I'm talking about a passion so intense it's blinding? You know, like "a thousand suns", and all that? That's what I was born with (and what will probably kill me) and it's also what it takes to turn around a culture that lost it's way over 40+ years ago.

Find the tag for "Ted Patrick" AKA "Black Lightening" and you might start to get some understanding of who you're talking to. I understand what you're saying - really I do - and, when I meet such people, I give them the proper respect. But there's got to be room for men like me out there. I'm not like you. I don't just sit and take wrongs - or try to figure out how to live with them - or how to get around them. I want them GONE. That's my contribution. That, and music, are all I've got - and all I really want to give.

It's my opinion I crashed into the darkness because more people aren't doing it already.
