But Then His George W. Bush Was Spot-On Too

Is it just us, or does Ted Rall actually look like the people he draws? There he is, above, ranting about some kind of insanity; and here's his work, below, ranting about some other kind of insanity:

We can't say for sure but, if you ask us, the man looks insane either way.

  1. Yeah, Ted looks like he might be pushing a shopping cart soon.

BTW, noticed in your comments at Althouse you mentioned Arianna Huffington's cult connections. The MSIA cult was actually started by "John-Roger" Hinkins, not "John-Robert". Know your crazies.

Just cause I like your new blog re-design, here's a vid for ya:

  2. Ted Rall is revolting!

P.S. He draws like Britney Spears sings.

  3. CJ,

Thanks. I shoulda looked at my archives before saying that but, with as many as I've got here (over 5,000 now) it gets to be a pain sometimes.

  4. Hey Beck,

As a black man, I always love that you uninformed jerks always start off with the racist charge. Makes me glad we're running over you like a steamroller. And it's just going to get worse, so please, keep spreading you propaganda:

We're going to dig you out like a grave.

  5. Good on you Crack. Not my site, just spreading the love. The Tea Party are loudmouthed know-nothing jerk-offs though

  6. I don't doubt for a minute that the utterly shrill Tea Party will go from strength to strength. That's because it takes nothing to be ignorant and loud. Anyone can do it. Even you, Crack Emcee.

I love that you lit on the 'racist' jibe since it was the one point on that political diatribe that didn't make the Tea Party din sound like so much rank hypocrisy. And therefore the least amount of work trying to rebuff. Typical lazy thought conservative.

Glad you liked the clever play on words juxtaposing Glen Beck with the debut song of Beck Hansen's. Oh no, you didn't. Color me surprised that something else went over your head.

If I saw one actual act of useful or positive thought at those tea parties, I might give them credence. As it is, I am amazed that even the truly docile and dimwitted can attach any merit to their activity (other than as wreckers)

  7. Ahhh, I get it:

Beck "Loser"! (I'm a loser, baby, so why don't you kill me"?)

So let me see if i understand the "logic" at work here:

I'm supposedly slow because, over the internet, I didn't possess enough ESP to understand that - instead of choosing something intelligent like "Beck's 'Loser'" - you just plainly don't know how to spell, is that it? Fine, whatever.

Look, if you're that big of a loser (and your comments about the Tea Party suggests you are) then, please, kill yourself. Don't wait for someone else to do it for you. Beck is a Scientologist - which, I'm sure, has more resonance for Lefties than anything the Tea Parties are suggesting - but, if I were you, I'd still take a page from the conservative handbook, in this one case, and show some personal initiative.

    We'd all be so proud.

  8. There are a few reasons:

    1. Beck's "Loser" wouldn't work, in the way that, say, either Rush's "Full of Self Importance" or Bush's "Malapropisms Good and Proper", would were either band to release songs with those titles.

    2. If you were, say, listing self-deprecating songs you might do so like:

Linda Ronstadt "Poor Poor Pitiful Me"
    Beck "Loser"
    Radiohead "Creep"

or you might reverse the order to

    "Alone Again Naturally" Gilbert O'Sullivan

of course you could put a hyphen

    "Dancing Fool" - Frank Zappa
    or even number order them.

The one method you're unlikely to use is

    Wheatus's "Teenage Dirtbag"

If my comments on the Tea Party make me a loser not worth living then tell me this, in all seriousness, what one thing emanating from the Tea Party will create jobs, ensure that people have access to affordable healthcare, address the massive discrepancies pointed out in that first clip you posted? What will the Tea Party nominee for an alternative presidency bring to the table in terms of bringing people together; of providing leadership?

If conservatives are so sensible and down to earth then why don't they co operate in getting things working again? After all, it benefits them too.

Carrying on like the worst of your political foes hardly makes any case beyond force of numbers. Which you're clearly relying on.

  9. Dude, you've got so many problems going on, it's not even funny:

    1) You're commenting on a post about Ted Rall - a known scumbag - which leads one to think you should be regarded as a known scumbag as well. Not a good way to earn my trust.

    2) You're linking to The Daily Kos? Oh yea, a very trustworthy source! What's next? Medical advice from The Huffington Post? Keep it real, baby!

    3) Rich people don't spend money? Fine, they don't. But guess what? They're OUR rich people, and I'd rather they have the money than someone from another country - or even someone poor with no potential. (I've seen what they spend it on: rims for their cars and shit.) Do you get it yet? I'm not playing class warfare, dude. It's just not happening. Move to Russia if that's what you're into.

    4) An article from February claiming Obama has created jobs,...which, on it's face, was and is totally at odds with reality. What are you thinking, man?

You're either taking me for a fool, who'll buy anything, or you're just a really stupid propagandist.

You can decide which is appropriate - I, for one, can't be bothered.
