Can I assume it would be too soon to call this a "gays in the military" problem?
"If the NSA Trusted Edward Snowden With Our Data, Why Should We Trust the NSA?"
I don't trust anyone who fell for the "Will & Grace" argument and has military men doing yoga,...
I don't trust anyone who stupidly believes that "protecting" some people's feelings of "oppression" outranks national security.
ReplyDeleteWhich means I don't trust the majority of my countrymen, I guess. Rotten situation to be in.
Snowden has stated that he admires both Ellsberg (hmmm, interesting connections he had, didn't he?) and Manning, and from the looks of his own military record it ain't too outstanding -- his access to sensitive material is much like theirs: a major fuck up with all the trappings of political drama llama being piled onto it.
We've always had problems with moles, bums, and general malcontents needing to be gone in the intel services...but with this new, special protections for special groups PC bullshit, it will be more of a problem (and yes, will get people killed...that's not even a coulda woulda; it will). No, I'm not even going to go harshing on just gays for this: it's a problem all around.
The gay thing is just the new, PC flavor of the month -- which tastes like a can of worms if you ask me.
And the "conservatives" have fallen for this political drama llama, PC crap, pander to it just as vigorously, as any "liberal". Shoe meet foot -- It cannot be stated often enough: I am beyond sick with both.

I also don't care too awful damn much for people who would mess around with national security in order to play political brinksmanship.
ReplyDeleteAnybody with a functioning mind should have known that this metadata mining thing was old hat -- hell, back in the '80s this was pretty much a given. Spare me the shock and outrage, please.
Kinda leads me to believe they really don't love their country as much as they love their ideology -- which is bullshit...imhao of course, what do I know?
