Salon.com has provided us with a list of
"The Church of Scientology's friends in Washington", which makes for interesting reading:
The church has had, throughout its history, plenty of friends on both sides of the aisle. Or, at least, plenty of people willing to cash its checks. Few prominent politicians, that I know of, have said much about the things we've learned about the church more recently.
For the record, we knew about
Sarah Palin, but not
Mark Foley (or many of the others).

This is the kind of thing which,
if reporters were doing their jobs, could bring down
the political order but, of course, that's just too much to ask because they're "journalists" now and
don't have to tell us anything.

Plus, where would
the occult be if it wasn't
hidden?
