I'm a little late in posting today, because I almost died yesterday.

So today looks a bit different than usual.

Except in one way.

It occurs to me now that, during the entire episode - and, really, up until I started writing this - I never once thought of God, or Heaven, or the Devil, or Hell, or even
dying.

Nothing others have engulfed my life in, and call "spiritual", ever came up.

Which, once again, tells me what I knew already:

I am, through and through, an atheist.

There's no talking me in or out of it.

Whether you're into the religion of
Global Warming, or
Christianity, or Hinduism, or
anything else, all I'll ever be able to do is stare back at you,
uncomprehending - even if I understand your words.

And I will
understand your words.
They just won't be
making any sense.
Truly, there's only one way to get through to me.

I am
a man of reason.
