Two Failed NewAgers: Our Great Idea For A Film Collaboration! (Either That Or Just Get 'Em Both Outta Here Before They Kill The Movie Industry)

M. Night Shyamalan is the most NewAge of all the NewAge directors, so you know NewAge and art don't mix when it's come to this:
M. Night Shyamalan may have received best director and screenplay Oscar nominations for the 1999 best picture nominee "The Sixth Sense," but more recently his films are being nominated for the Golden Raspberry -- Razzie -- Awards. His 2010 misfire, "The Last Airbender," makes him a threepeat offender in the Razzie world after 2006's "The Lady in the Water" and 2008's "The Happening."

His 3-D version of the popular animated TV series scored nine Razzie nominations Monday morning, including worst picture, director, remake, screenplay, worst screen couple/worst ensemble and a new Razzie category, worst eye-gouging misuse of 3-D.
Jesus - the guy even won in a whole new category! When are they just going to kick this loser to the curb?

The other NewAge name that stands out in the "Razzie" competition (and also in multiple categories) is Jennifer Aniston - nominated first and foremost as "Worst Actress" - A distinction that, obviously, neither consulting Ken Wilber, or increasing her number of yoga sessions (both of which probably take away from studying her craft) can help with.

Oh well. As artists, and anti-cultists, we're rooting for Shyamalan and Aniston - BIG TIME! The "winners" will be announced on Monday.

  1. Please. You cannot be seriously suggesting that one director and one actress -- whether acting independently or in concert -- can possibly "kill" the entire movie industry.

Why don't you make it easy on yourself and simply say you hate these two people because you are jealous?

You are 100% wrong when you say they've failed. They are both rich and famous and that is much more than can be said for either one of us.

Note well that we are talking about them and that they are not talking about us.

Jesus, you're an idiot (and a coward to keep posting these things anonymously):

My first band became "famous" before either of these two made it, so the idea I'd do anything because I'm "jealous" proves you have no idea who you're talking to - I've been discussed enough for a lifetime - and will be again. (Don't let my hiatus fool you: my wife killed three people and gave all of our money to a quack "guru". I deserve some "down time".)

The only thing I "note well" is you're here - and not watching "Friends" or "The Last Airbender".

  3. Sorry Mr. Emcee, but you're a small fry compared to them. That's nothing to be ashamed of, by the way. They are big stars.

Your wife killed three people? I don't believe it. What? You mean she killed three people the way "NewAge" kills people? Spare me, please. That claim is ridiculous.

And yes, I am here. But not for long. In a week or two I'll probably move along to comment anonymously on someone else's blog because that's pretty much what I do on the internet.

I'm kind of like Mary Poppins. I appear by curious circumstances, I do some stuff, and then I disappear.

People usually feel better about themselves for having had the experience, I imagine.

  4. Whew! - delivering unwanted advice AND self-flattery! - and you think you're doing it for others! Incredible! Seen a shrink about any of this lately? It sounds like it's time for a visit, my friend. I'll say this much for you:

Whoever you are, you take the cake for having the delusional shit DOWN!
