Beck Doing David Bowie's Sound & Vision Is Atrocious

 I was about as envious as an artist could get, right up until the actual song started, which is awful. A complete waste of an orchestra, this one. Even the stuff at the beginning isn't musically interesting, just a lark for the film editor. 

I generally like Beck's work, he can't rap for shit but he's interesting, though this certainly isn't worthy of the over-arching adulation he receives. This is just too much.

 Shit, I think I'm starting to understand privilege after watching this. Still, he does have some decently quirky material out there:
