A Funny Message Making The Rounds Today

"It was once said that a black man would be president when pigs fly.

100 days into Obama's presidency:

Swine flu."

Interior Decorating (For Those Who Loved You)

"I cried and screamed, I went to the bathroom and threw up."

-- Elizabeth Edwards, who (if she's anything like us) will never hear "Me And Mrs. Jones", or any other breezy song about adultery - which are regularly played on American radio - the same way again, even if it's on ABC News.

We wonder if anyone's going to write Elizabeth Edwards and demand she "move on" from this?

Is anyone going to tease her for being made into a cuckold?

Is anyone going to tell her to shut up?

Or that this shit "happens all the time" and she should just grow up?

Will they make fun of her potential nightmares for years to come? (We just had two in two-nights-in-a-row about it, almost four years after the fact,...)

Will they hold her in contempt?

Probably not - because most understanding, today, is limited to women's problems. Right and wrong doesn't even come into it - though it does "cum" into it - right, Bill?

We, here, at The Macho Response have been told all the ugly things above, for writing about how Karine Anne Brunck's NewAge adultery with that murderous quack, "Dr." Robert Wohlfahrt, affected us after they killed Karine's mother,...and 20 years of marriage.

It's like these people are too cold hearted to accept that adultery harms innocent people - so these assholes are moved to defend it, though they know it's wrong: NewAgers can't begin to realize how what they do affects spouses and non-believers. You just don't do this shit.

Along with the killings, here's what made it even worse in our case:

Karine Anne Brunck knew how it would it would affect us. That evil cuss, Doti Boon ("The California Psychic") told her it hurt husband's deeply to discover a wife's adultery, but that didn't stop Karine. The bitch is evil.

And she needs help.

And so do she, and "Dr." Wohlfahrt's, supporters.

"Lying turns out to be a central theme and major mode for the Mystic Bourgeoisie, even if they call it their 'Mythic Journey'...."**

-- Christopher Locke, AKA "Rageboy" - who (word has it) is finishing his book on NewAgers - doing his best "to look sane and harmless", above, while laying out the central facts of the case against the Mystic Bourgeoisie.

**About that "Mythic Journey" AKA the idiotic "Never-ending search" for truth or meaning:

Because NewAgers are stupid they never find truth or meaning (which is why the search is never-ending: Garbage in/Garbage Out) so they have to lie about themselves and how they spend their lives - flitting from one acquired belief system to another.

As Bono (horribly) warbles in their theme song:

"I stiiiiiiiiill haven't found what I'm looking for"

And they never will.

"If you rely on public transportation with no other options when an epidemic sweeps into town, public transportation is practically designed to amplify it.  Where else will hundreds of strangers have to squeeze up against each other for minutes or hours every day?  Even airplanes leave you some personal space.  You don’t have to hold onto a rail on an airplane, either, one handled by God-knows-how-many sick people before you boarded the bus or train."

-- Ed Morrissey, making us hope places like San Francisco - that promote public transportation and illegal immigrants from Mexico - are listening, because swine flu is some pretty Hot Air.

Narcissistic? No, No. No One Comes To Mind

"Narcissism in our leaders hurts regular people. We are just pawns in their self-centered plans. Do you know anybody who might be guilty of that now? Who do you think they will end up hurting?"

-- Ken Nelson, focussing on what's important, which - being very anti-NewAge here - is someone other than Ken Nelson.

W. Just Keeps Looking Better And Better

"Say what you will about George W. Bush, he had a skin whose thickness wasn’t measured in Planck lengths."

-- Glenn Reynolds reacting to Moe Lane's Tea Party comment that Obama's "not really all that gracious when it comes to dealing with people that don’t already love him", on Instapundit.

Like All NewAge: Scientology Is Nothing "Nice"

"Hubbard literally had a plan for world conquest. He actually, literally wanted to take over the world. But he had to put it into other terms. And the term he came up with was to ‘clear the planet.’ And this sounds like a very beneficent action – we’re going to clear the planet – which means rid it of its problems. But really it was more of a case like, like a Hitler that he wants to rid the planet of vermin. And the vermin are the people that are stopping him. And these were basically the enemies of Scientology."
-- Vaughn Young (deceased) L. Ron Hubbard’s PR person for 20 years, letting the NewAge cat out of the bag, on Rush PR News.

That Don't Mean Nothing: Everybody's Got An Opinion And She Don't Even Know Rielle And,...

-- Elizabeth Edwards, activist and cancer patient, finally addressing Rielle Hunter - the dumb NewAger John Edwards was also dumb enough to have an affair with, ending his political career - in Elizabeth's new memoir, "Resilience," featured by The New York Daily News.

Poor Bones

ScienceBlogling PalMD does a good job of eviscerating the false claims of expertise by woo practioner 'Dr.' Patricia Fitzgerald and the rest of the witch doctors over at The Huffington Post, so I thankfully don't have to (so many fucking morons, so little Mad Biologist...). But PalMD neglected to mention one thing about 'Dr.' Patricia Fitzgerald:

She is the "Wellness" editor of The Huffington Post.

That's right: a full-blown woomeister is the equivalent of
The Huffington Post's medicine and health section. Is she an M.D.? Nope. Is she a Pharm.D.? Uh-uh. Maybe a Ph.D.? Guess what? No. How about a R.N., an N.P., or maybe an MPH? Hell noes! Here's her bio:

Patricia Fitzgerald is a licensed acupuncturist, certified clinical nutritionist, and a homeopath. She has a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Doctorate in Homeopathic Medicine. She is the founder and Medical Director of the Santa Monica Wellness Center and the author of the best-selling, award-winning The Detox Solution: The Missing Link to Radiant Health, Abundant Energy, Ideal Weight, and Peace of Mind. You can learn more at

Her mission is to inspire others to live their passion, while creating and enjoying optimal physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Guess what comes next?

She has a doctorate in homeopathic medicine, which probably isn't as bad as a degree in sociopathic medicine.

So what is homeopathic medicine? Wikipedia actually has a pretty neutral description which attempts to describe it somewhat fairly but can't because homeopathy is so fucking stupid:

Homeopathy is a form of alternative medicine that treats a disease with heavily diluted preparations created from substances that would ordinarily cause effects similar to the disease's symptoms. As first expounded by German physician, Samuel Hahnemann, in 1796, homeopathic preparations are serially diluted, with shaking ("succussing") after each step, under the belief that this increases the effect of the treatment. This dilution often continues until no molecules of the original substance remain....

Homeopaths believe that the methodical dilution of a substance, beginning with a 10% or lower solution and working downwards, with shaking after each dilution, produces a therapeutically active "remedy", in contrast to therapeutically inert water. However, homeopathic remedies are usually diluted to the point where there are no molecules from the original solution left in a dose of the final remedy. Since even the longest-lived noncovalent structures in liquid water at room temperature are only stable for a few picoseconds, critics have concluded that any effect that might have been present from the original substance can no longer exist.

-- Mike - who we hope doesn't mind us swiping a big chunk of his post, but it's so hilariously brilliant we had to share it - turning more people on to Mike The Mad Biologist.

Bwaaahaaahaaa-ha-ha-ha (Whew!) Good One!

It's just art imitating life, Folks,...and yea: You're stupid.

Ready, Willing, And Able: We're Waiting For Y'all

"We need to build a New American Culture, and turn our backs on the culture of the state. We need to stop according respect or credence to reviews and awards that are used as social engineering tools to force the culture into anti-American state worship. We need to build an infra-structure of funding, review attention and awards to give praise, purpose and prestige to those artists who stand outside the MSM’s climate of opinion.

It would be wrong to say too much about what such a New American Culture would look like. Individualism is the very essence of both conservatism and art. But I think we can say that such a culture would reflect and uplift the values and perspectives that made the west and America the greatest and freest places on the globe; it would put forward an image of man as our founders knew him to be, flawed and sinful yet capable of striving toward dignity and salvation through self-reliance and sacrifice. It need not be—it should not be, in my view—squeaky clean or restrained by some new Hays Office production code of what the audience should be allowed to see. Sensationalism, sex and violence have been part of the arts since art began. Artists are entertainers, after all, not policy wonks."

Clowns To The Left Of Me, Jokers To The Right

We know what you're thinking:

Those damn Conservatives with their guns,...

Who do they think they are?

We're painted to be Darth Vader.

Cloaked in black,...

Breathing heavy,...

Ready to strike at any moment.

And you know what?

You're right.

We're the folks who aren't lying down for anybody.

That doesn't mean we don't want to have fun,...

Or even get weird from time to time.

Really weird.

We do, and how.

But we also know there's a time for play and a time for seriousness.

For mature adults, there are limits.

We have responsibilities to our country, to ourselves, and to our families.

We're not Liberals.

We've seen our numbers go up and we've seen our numbers go down,...

We don't get help from the media,...

But Conservatives have already crawled to the top after a long stay in the wilderness.

We've been too high to fall too far at this point.

Especially when we've reduced Liberals, now, to only getting lucky every 20 or so years.

That's the funny thing.

No, really funny.

We know more about Liberals than the other way around - and you think we're finished!

You forget: We've been there.

We know what you like.

How about us?

Think we're a group of stuffy old white guys?

Or haven't you got a bigger problem?

You're blind as bats.

You can't see.

We've been right in front of your eyes your whole life.

Keeping things together, while you whine and protest, waiting for the rest of you to grow up.

We're America's Conservatives.

The folks without stars in our eyes.
