The Florida Shooting Update: Jim Crow Is Alive & Well

“The jail is full of blacks and they all act like thugs. This may sound a bit radical, but if more people would arm themselves and kill these f*cking idiots when they’re threatening you, eventually they may take the hint and change their behavior.”

From what I can tell, so far, these kids were not gangsters - or the type to threaten anybody. But what do we have in Michael Dunn, the Jacksonville, Florida shooter? According to his girlfriend, Rhonda Rouer, we've got the latest new euphemism for "nigger":

“I hate that ‘thug’ music.”

And, if whites can't make blacks move off the sidewalk when they walk by, Michael Dunn invented new demands:

“Prosecutors said Dunn told the teen to turn down his music while Rouer went into the store,...”

The general white "disinterest" in black lives, which has been a recent TMR and Althouse topic, is also well-represented here:

Dunn and Rouer returned to their hotel after the shooting and ordered some pizza,…

I'm talking about a serious disinterest:

Rouer said she insisted they return home to Satellite Beach to look after their dog and not call police,…

I mean, behavior that's truly Nazi-like in execution:

  “I thought we needed to go home and get Charlie [the dog] settled,” Rouer told police after their arrest. “It was a horrible trip home.”
