Unfortunately, George Shultz's final act saw him taken advantage of, in the Silicon Valley NewAge fraud perpetrated by Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos, though his grandson was able to save him from their clutches, in the end.
It's not as embarrassing as MLK's wife, dying outside a quack's office, but still: not a good statement on how a nation treats it's heroes. An accurate one, though.
