We Didn't Start The Fire (The NewAge/Nazi Connection)

I become excruciatingly aware whenever I retrace old ground (and I become excruciatingly aware a LOT) but, it seems to me, this particular trench still isn't deep enough. Not for young children to run in safely yet. Or even see, if parts get bombed, so they must be memorized. Rote, if necessary. Totally Old School. Repeat after me:

Before it all went wrong, did we live in a culture enthralled with Pagan "ancient teachings"?

Yes - say it:

 "Just like during the Nazis.

Very good. Before it all went wrong, did we live in a culture enthralled with pseudo-science AKA "Nazi Science"?

Check - say it:

  "Just like during the Nazis.

Outstanding! Now, before it all went wrong, did we live in a culture whose leaders claimed the Jews brought the misery inflicted on themselves?

Know who your friends are - and then say it

  "Just like during the Nazis.

Excellent! Once again - before it all went wrong - did we live in a culture,...

  1. Heh, of course we did -- and the propensity has always been there, probably from the beginning (we've always been the leaders of the pack in the out there somewhere race after all).I like reading Emerson and Thoreau -- but let's face it, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that they were hocus pocus wackadoodles a large part of the time (nasty ones to boot)...so proceed with caution when reading and be ready to call BS.

It's always a nasty little troll we Americans have had to beat back (only to forget about it because we think it's beaten and have it crop back up again). One of our strengths has probably been being so far out that it's hard to keep people pinned down to a specific far out-ness; it's hard to not have them get bored and tell you to FO.

I think, we're sitting at the crossroads (and the devil really does want our souls) -- we'll either snap out of it (again) or we'll fall. It's up to us -- that people who were blindly blissing out have kinda sorta started to notice it (and better yet, be bothered by it! and then there are those who are getting bored with it -- not exactly as good as seeing it, but it'll perhaps do in a pinch) is a good sign (maybe not enough, maybe too late -- but I'm going to try to be optimistic here).

We're in for some really tough times imhao, but if the nasty little troll of mind/body/spirit/chains can be beaten back once again -- well, sometimes exciting times are fun to live in if you like excitement.

PS. Did you check this out?

Switch the name to Oprah and it works; take both their names and switch it to Jim Jones and it works too; change it to Ernst Roehm and his Teutonic versions of Boystown and it also works.

I hope they fail ... all of them, by caprice or reason I won't be picky; soon and spectacularly.
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

  2. Christ, didn' t realize there were TWO of them!

...and they talk smack about freaking commune dwelling hippies? wtf? What do these idiots think they really are, if not freaking commune dwelling hippies? All they need is a little red book (oops, they've already got one).

The word for today (for me at least) is : hypocrite
