Oprah was able to redefine Christianity in America - by merely being a terrible journalist and never bringing up Harvey Milk's lies - within her defense of gays. Of course, it's more important to NewAge Nazis they made someone cry, than their hero's lies, or misrepresentations to the public, will ever be.
It has been a long, strange mainstreaming of aparticular sexual deviancy. I hadn't considered Oprah's contribution before.
