The 2012 Republican Election Autopsy made it pretty clear that, amongst other things, the right side of the political aisle had a serious race problem.
Their actions, since then - and especially in contrast to when Donald Trump was President - indicate they haven't changed at all, in reaction to those findings.
So, it's not surprising an equally stupid, and stubborn movement has arisen in response to the right's racial intransigence - cancel culture - which is as unAmerican as the right's been. But in defense of our values.
It's the latest form of political combat for American blacks: fighting fire with water, and muscle with brains. We'll always find a way.
