Fading To Black (As We're Being Fazed Out)

Why so few Americans are talking like this, when our cult problem is 10 times that of Australia's, is a question only history can answer:
"Tougher laws are being urged to help protect people from manipulation and brainwashing by cults.

South Australian Senator Nick Xenophon says, in France for example, the crime of mental manipulation is punishable by five years in jail or a $100,000 fine.

Senator Xenophon says current laws are little safeguard against brainwashing.

'The current laws that we have just don't deal with issues of psychological manipulation, effectively brainwashing, the way that people are deceived into handing over their money to these cults,' he said."
In America, you can't turn on the TV without bumping into cultists, their fingerprints are all over our politics, (and I do mean all over it) and, despite the fact anyone with eyes to see can tell it's changing us, we do nothing but work around the edges, denying there's anything wrong as we follow our self-apponinted "Masters of the Universe" right over a cliff.

The whole set-up - whether we're discussing the current policies being promoted or the people involved - leads to nothing more than continual betrayal of each other and our values.

And so, each day, our world grows a little darker.

In keeping with their beliefs, NewAgers, of course, call this process "going into the light",...
