It looks like racism in the St. Louis Police Dept. just gave that new N.W.A. biopic a much-needed shot in the arm:

"With the recent events of a young man killed by the police in New York City and with Trayvon Martin and with all the other African-American young men that have been killed by police officers ... this is a dire concern to the NAACP, especially our local organization. 

Anytime you have this type of event that's taken place, emotions are going to run high. But for 600 people to gather around an area to see where a man is lying in the street, that means something happened that should have not happened."

When it comes to this centuries-old circumstance, that continually results in blacks dying - old and young alike - you can say that again:

Blacks Taking Over's No Problem If You Don't See Race

Take away American history - where a black president, black senators, black captains of business, black companies, black entertainment channels, the NAACP, and Al Sharpton, have all been fighting against a white majority that didn't expect, or want, us to have any of them - take all that away, and The Five’s Eric Bolling makes sense:

“You know, it’s almost getting — it is getting tiring. We have a black president, black senators, we have black heads — captains of business, companies, we have black entertainment channels.” “Is there racism?” he asked. “I don’t think there’s racism. I think the only people perpetuating racism are people like this gentleman from NAACP, are the Al Sharptons of the world. Let’s move on.”

Of course, if you, rightly, add history to the mix - because it should never be taken out, if you want to have an honest discussion of American race issues - then The Five’s Eric Bolling sounds like any old crazy racist cracker, sick of blacks resisting him.

This Videographer Should Be Up For An Award

We looove the reaction of the ACORN guy when the interviewer can see through his deception, but - even better - is the white teacher from Arianna's cult hangout, The Huffington Post, who says, "Excuse me, but your tea bag is showing." The way she gets "ghetto", bobbing and weaving, when the interviewer asks her if she's in the teacher's union is hilarious!

This entire video is proof of how much we're up against if we're ever going to get this country back on track. But it's also proof it's not hopeless:

The guy in the yellow jacket who begins the video, threatening to hit the interviewer in his head, ends up declaring he's not with the protesters, so something (his conscience?) obviously got through to him.

We know Americans are good people - they know right from wrong - but this society has been engulfed by the wrong influences, for so long, they can't tell which is which just yet. But they will. We're positive they will.

That guy in the yellow jacket proves it.

Miss Information And David Let Her, Man "Talk"

How many wrongs can one TV show, with two liberals, pack into a short segment?

The guy who cheats on his wife with his staff (pun intended) but is still endorsed by liberals, has a talk about right and wrong with a wrong-headed woman, who feeds him one lie after another, and gets applause for it by a clueless audience. What's not true here? Let me count the ways:

1) Implying that Andrew Breitbart specializes in unfairly editing material and sending it to FOX News is an out-and-out lie. Breitbart didn't edit the original Shirley Sherrod tape. Also, this was the first time (that I know of) that he'd ever done anything of this kind, so it can hardly be said that it's his shtick.

2) Shirley Sherrod - and her husband - have since been revealed to be racists, so it's not like Andrew Breitbart was exactly wrong because, while Breitbart was aiming for the NAACP, he still hit the target.

3) Andrew Breitbart didn't send the video to FOX News, but posted it on his own website, where it was picked up by others.

4) Andrew Breitbart was a part of The Drudge Report, a conservative news aggregator. But he was also a founding member of the so-liberal-and-cult-infested-it's-wacky website, The Huffington Post. It seems to me that makes Andrew Breitbart more of a straight shooter than Rachel Maddow - the "journalist" who isn't telling both sides here - which might explain why she only talks out of one side of her mouth.

5) Even after Let Her, Man admits he "may not have the facts", Maddow still tells him he's got the "tone" right, which he doesn't. As Maddow later says, you can't expect unscrupulous people to stop doing unscrupulous things.

6) After detailing the knee-jerk reaction of the White House and the USDA in firing Sherrod, Let Her, Man blames Andrew Breitbart for wasting everyone's time - not the White House and the USDA for unquestionably suspecting Breitbart might be right, that there's racists in the NAACP, and acting accordingly to save their own tails. Again, you can't expect unscrupulous people to stop doing unscrupulous things.

7) FOX News has repeatedly been acknowledged as the one news source that treated the Shirley Sherrod incident responsibly, waiting until Sherrod had already been fired - and they'd seen the whole tape - before going all-out on the story. This charge that FOX was a culprit has become a liberal meme (spread by such bone-headed liars as Howard Dean) even though it's been debunked already.

8) Let Her, Man says the White House was "several layers down" in blame when it was the White house and the USDA that did the only substantial (and provable) wrong to Shirley Sherrod.

9) Maddow accuses FOX News of using a pattern of racism to get ratings. A total fabrication she and Let Her, Man should be ashamed of and forced to apologize for.

So that's what I see, in a clip that's only 5:00 long, but (if you know what they're talking about) seems a whole lot longer.

I See A Race (With More Crashes Than NASCAR)

To say I like to keep myself on the right side of issues is an understatement, so I feel pretty bad about my congratulations to Andrew Breitbart for his attack on Shirley Sherrod.

I've been saying, for some time now, that race shouldn't even be part of our national dialogue, and then, damn it, I fell into the trap myself.

O.K., I know - I just stuck my toe in it - but it still feels, to me, like it's been lopped off.

So, once again, I'm going to ask: When are we, as a people, going to let this go? How many have to get hurt, unnecessarily, because of this insistence to keep the race meme going?

The NAACP started this latest broohaha? Doesn't matter.

Like the KKK, they've outlived their usefulness and should be consigned to the trash heap of history, and their attacks on the Tea Party - and the reactions of the black audience in the Breitbart video - prove it.

But this doesn't speak well of Andrew Breitbart, either.

The video was edited to make it appear to be something it wasn't.

I can't lay into him too hard because I understand what he's trying to do, and I think it's noble, but still, wrong is wrong and it should be acknowledged.

He should be trying to get Miss Sherrod's job back.

Like I said, I don't feel good about any of this - especially my, admittedly, minor role in it - so I don't feel like writing too much. But there are a few things I do want to say anyway.


While many people may not care to read what I say on this blog, I've got news for you:

I hate listening to everybody else talking about me - and that's what this silly corrosive "dialogue" is, really, whether it's the stupid New Black Panther Party or those fighting against them - it's a discussion about me.

Both the New Black Panther Party, and it's adversaries, think they're looking out for my interest but they're not - they're merely torturing me with their bullshit.

Just as the toxic Mel Gibson did with his you're-going-to-be-raped-by-niggers comments to that unscrupulous woman I don't even think is attractive.

It's time you all realized "I am a man" and I can speak for myself.

If I need your help, I'll ask for it - and you can start by hitting the fucking tip jar, assholes.

See, I know I'm nothing more to you than a Sambo doll, to be batted about to make you feel good - about yourselves.

I've been saying, since this blog started, that I'm a black man who's been through some pretty horrible shit - more horrible than probably anything the rest of you have had to endure - and, with few exceptions, the reaction I've received is to be ridiculed, harassed, or ignored.

Nobody cared I'm a black man openly asking for specific kinds of help - and not the first to ask for this specific kind of help - you'll give me what you think I deserve, whether it's what I need or not.

Well, in the tradition of great rappers everywhere, I say "Fuck all y'all."

If my NewAge ex-wife assisting a NewAge homeopath in killing three other NewAgers, and running away with all of our money, isn't enough to get you off your asses (or your wallets) to come to my aid, then I don't need your kind of "help".

What good is y'all screaming "raaaacist!" at each other doing me?

I've also said - with a lot of evidence to back it up - that I'm the conservative artist that can end a lot of the bullshit we're dealing with through music.

Anybody rushing to make that happen?

Nope. Not even from my fellow conservatives.

What's up? All of a sudden the problems of a black person ain't so pressing, huh?

It's much more fun for y'all to declare me - a black man - a weirdo, ain't it?

Yea, that'll help.

My online friend, Ann Althouse, has told me - several times - that what she perceives as my self-pity ain't Obama "attractive". My answer to her has always been the same;

I'm not trying to be (shallowly) attractive - I'm trying to be (deeply) real.

All of y'all clamoring over me - specifically because of my race - as my fortunes dwindle - and two killers (my ex and the homeopath) are, still, walking freely - is absurd.

It just reinforces how alone this black man is (and, by extension, all black people are) while surrounded by supposedly-well-meaning lawyers, scientists, doctors, therapists, conservatives, liberals, and more.

As someone who has risked his very life, countless times, to rescue people I didn't know - boat people while serving in the Navy, women in distress, etc. - if I were y'all, I'd be ashamed at what selfish bastards so many so-called Americans have become.

I know I'm ashamed.

I asked for your help because I believed in you.

As you know, if you read this blog, I don't believe in shit any longer.

Starting with your concern for me as a black man.

My day started at 8AM with a tap on my window. It was my friend, Pete - a white guy I've known since Jr. High.

He read the post I wrote about quitting my job and, knowing my issues with NewAge, he came over to see if I was alright.

If he had the money, he would give it to me in a heartbeat, saying, "Here, go make your band, and change the world."

Instead, we went to breakfast, a white guy and a black guy, and wondered what's happened to the country we grew up in - specifically, why there are so few of our countrymen like us.

None of you truly care about "the content of a man's character".

If you did, you'd recognize when you've met one, as Pete and I did so many years ago.

Race, to me and Pete, has always been "your problem" - not ours - and it still is.

And unfortunately, from the look of things, that's the way it's going to stay until the day we die.
