I actually saw Jeremy Spencer perform with Fleetwood Mac, in Vancouver in 1971. He very soon afterward left the band to join the Children of God. None of the other band members have ever had anything to do with the cult; some, like Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, were only recruited into the band years later.
