After all the shoddy and ass-backward examples of supposed "journalism" we've seen in the mainstream media lately, an actual journalist - one with a track record of still doing actual journalism - gets arrested outside of (this is no joke:) the University of Southern California's Annenberg School of Journalism for covering an event occurring there.
Get it? This is, in essence, journalists arresting a journalist for reporting a story about journalism. The mind boggles. As Glenn Reynolds said:
"THEY TOLD ME IF I VOTED FOR MCCAIN, WE’D SEE JOURNALISTS ARRESTED IN THE STREETS FOR REPORTING. AND THEY WERE RIGHT!"
We're in big trouble now, kids. Big, big trouble.
